A neat tip for the boost: you can get an easy and unlimited +5 cooking boost by placing a barrel of Chef's Delight in your POH kitchen. This allows you to make a drastically larger amount of pies/hr if you're boosting versus fishing for +5's with stews. you only need 8 chef's delights for the barrel, which can either be made in advance through brewing or by hunting gourmet imps. I recommend just making a couple batches a few days before you want the cooking boost.
This was my idea as well, one issue though is that once you take a chefs delight out of the barrel into a glass it gets deleted upon teleing, so you need to keep going back to your house to get another boost. Small annoyance but if you dont have the raw food banked to get another cooking level then by far worth doing to get around that
Sick guide man. Really helped me! I just got mine 720 KC using ice burst on my ironman. I used a total of 95 pies, I made 100 it's a good starting point if anyone is curious and it's more than enough if you manage to get it on drop rate. I think I was averaging around 70 kills per trip. Good luck to everyone x
@Alex Awker I was level 80 man. if you've made 286 pies at level 81 then lmao. You're deffo getting it. Maybe made a bit too many lol but oh well, thats good! Can use for Kraken at a later date or D boots etc
@Alex Awker I was level 83, but I would really recommend level 82 at the very least. Being 2-3 levels away from the level you are boosting for is ideal in my opinion unless you get really lucky lol.
I watched this video to try do this grind as efficient as possible and this is a great video for that. What I didn’t know though when watching was that I was going to go 1688+ kills dry. (Current kc at the time of writing this comment)
I honestly can't express in words how bad I feel for you lmao. You definitely got this in the next 50 kills! Good luck with your drops and again I'm so sorry for your loss.
Bring part wild pies for chompy hunting and add them as u go to save weight and run energy. Raw chompys weigh 10kgs as opposed to part wild pies that weight 0,001. Great guide!
@@earliverz Damn, you know more about this than me, did you even need the guide? These are definitely some great tips and I wish I could go back and edit the video just to include them!
The first time I started making pies I actually killed rabbits in Isafdar and bears in Ardougne. Shit sucked lmao... figured there had to be a better way.
Amazing guide, my team already got our whips, but I had a lot of friends ask how to do this and I love that I can direct them to your video now! :) Subscribing for future content 👌
Just a tip at 80 slayer using ice burst and preserve prayer I get an estimate of 110 kills per 10 pies so if you get it on drop rate you would need 50 pies I made 300 before testing and I think I over baked lol
Why shadow spells in particular, since we're gonna be praying mage the whole time anyway? I'd assume you just do the highest rank burst or barrage you can muster.
Mainly due to rune costs. Blood spells are useless here as you don't need to heal, also you don't want to waste blood runes. Ice spells mess up the abyssal demons movement, but if you are ok with that you can run those as well :D
Shadow barrage is overall just cheaper than the other options. The only other type of spell I would use is ice spells, but they lock the demons in place making it hard to lure them for a couple seconds, which can be pretty annoying. Otherwise this is actually the best choice! I personally used ice spells after around 200 kills cause the rune costs were killing me. Other than that I'm happy I was able to help you and that you found my guide excellent! Best of luck to you on your whip drops and your future grinds!
@@Karlsonsk I actually got a whip drop this morning cuz of your guide so thanks! Im an iron and I accumulated tons of bloods from Guardians of the rift so i ended up using blood burst. Definitely more expensive but the 1200 souls I have wouldn't have gotten me there lol
I was not on task and now that I think about it the slayer helm really had no reason to be used lol. I'm just so used to being in the catacombs with it on to avoid dust devils or abberant spectres lowering my stats.

This is stacking demons at the start of every boost and than killing stack or most of it just before needing to boost again than repeat
I'm so glad I watched this, I was literally killing rats/bears and picking up their meat...
Lmao, I did the same thing at first, then I thought there had to be something better.
When killing hellrat behemoths bring a stackable fish like karambwanji and you'll only need to leave when your inventory is full
