Do you make your own dried minced onion?

I don't. We dehydrate diced onions but not minced. A food processor would make it easy. I'd dehydrate at 125 °F for 8+ hours until dry.

Before I order the broth mix from Amazon (expensive) I need to know if there is a good place from which to order it. Also, does your onion soup mix taste like the Lipton mix? My daughter loves burger made with Liptons and she might not go for a different flavor. I really like your channel and I hope it becomes more popular.

Some grocery stores carry it so you may check there. I'd say the taste is about a 90% match. The Lipton mix has sugar and corn byproducts that give it a tad sweeter taste.
      Thank you! ❤️

I will check my local grocery stores. If I add a little sugar to it to add sweetness, how much sugar do you think might be appropriate to add per cup of the beef broth mix to make it more like the Lipton taste?@@foodprepguide

Most of the ones offered on Amazon are multiples but by scrolling through a whole batch of stuff I found an order of just one jar, so I ordered it. I'm eager to try your recipe. Thanks so much@@foodprepguide

I got the broth mix. Can I use dried onion flakes or dried minced onion, or do I have to dehydrate my own onions?

I use store-bought dried minced onion for this recipe. :) I imagine flakes would work great, too.
