    Nice vid mate. I hoped for some drone footage to kick in before the bite materialising then fading out and back into the rod, so im assuming the footage didnt come out for you to be able to use it? Still, nice bit of story telling throughout. Keep'em coming.

    • @gsp
      @gsp  4 года назад

      No, I'd got the drone out about 150m to do a sweeping shot of the coast but then the rod started going so I had to quickly fly it back🤦‍♂️

    Great vid mate,, never fished up that way, would love to give it a go,, where is the parking?

    • @gsp
      @gsp  4 года назад

      The parking for Minster beach is directly behind it. You can drive up the ramps/causeway onto the back of the beach. Minster is sign posted as soon as you drive onto the Isle of Sheppey

      Have you ever fished for smooth hounds at sandwich bay I’m going one evening this week have never fished this venue so any info would be appreciated. Cheers mate

      I have and if they are there then they're great sport. I haven't had any over 8lb from there and I haven't had more than 2 in a session. But there is alot less weed than the North Kent coast so it's less frustrating to fish. You'll need 170g leads and then either a pulley or pulley dropper with peeler or hardbacks.

    Great video mate I’m a new subscriber I want to do some beach fishing and I’m confused on the license side of it do I need a sea fishing licence to beach fish some people I’ve spoken to say no one said yes and now I’m confused lol any help would be gratefully appreciated

    • @gsp
      @gsp  2 года назад +1

      No licence needed for saltwater angling so you can fish in the sea and tidal, saltwater rivers for free. No worry at all. Most other countries in Europe require a sea fishing licence but not the uk

      I think then I was using mackerel fillets but either mackerel or bluey will work well. A 4 - 5" long bait wrapped on the hooks

    Noticed on your vid you cast the left rod left handed and right handed on the right rod, but wound in right handed! You ambidextrous ?

    • @gsp
      @gsp  3 года назад +1

      I do think I cast all my rods the same way unless I'm doing a quick overhead flick in close then either hand will do! I can use both
