On top of that mate you have years of experience and knowledge in your own way. I would of not fished anymore if I did not come across your videos fresh or saltwater fishing. I know how much it sucks to try and grab some fishing time, only to find the weather against you, I used to rough it out, as I was there anyhow, but sometimes it can be grim, top production as always, shame the fish refused to join in, tight lines.
Well it can only get better lol. I hear depth charge fishing works well 😂. Still ten out of ten for trying in that weather. I hear this year's summer will begin in December. Looking forward to seeing more. Regards to the family

I was in leysdown in the early tide hr before hr so after doggy and 2 small rays on short pulley rig single hook 3bm and dry cloudy morning weather got turn better soon m8 my new sonik gravity ht X5 turned up what a rod m8t
My year so far has been just like yours, had a session at Barton’s on Sunday. People catching thornies either side of me and I didn’t even have a bite. Don’t think I could even catch a cold at the moment 🤦♂️
I wonder if you'd have a bit more luck experimenting with different rigs I know the pulley rig is preferable but if I'm not catching I will always change rigs after a while and or experiment with bait sizes. I have also thought about adding a dead bait buoyancy float into the bait to lift it up (hopefully) off the sea bed more, presenting the bait differently??
I think I would be more inclined to change rigs if others were catching and I wasn't. I like presenting a bait flat on the bottom for rays so either the up and over or pulley dropper rig is my choice and they both present in the same way🤔 next time I go there I will try for flounder too so it mixes it up a bit
That's why it's fishing and not catching mate it's touch and go everywhere mate personally I'll wait a couple more weeks then hit it hard on the south coast 👍
Hi greg i was there friday trying for rays from 4 pm till 9.30 ht was 7pm and all we cought was crabs so you are not alone but never mind beter luck next time tight lines.Loking forward to meeting you all again soon it is quite away from harlow but we will keep trying.
Fished there couple of times this year first the boy had a 6half pounder second I had a small ray but did think amount of rubbish was disgusting not all from fishermen some from the people that use it for a free campsite
That’s crap m8, only a fortnight ago on a Saturday my m8 caught a Thorney and was just under so he put it back, two other anglers caught a Whiting and a small eel.
@@gsp I think the thermal bib and brace which comes with it would have made all the difference. And pocket/hand warmers for your mate. Being dry and warm or wet and cold makes all the difference between an enjoyable or miserable day.

You want to try further up the beach by the rocks always have success up that end it’s good for the dabs in the winter where you was fishing
