Sorry for late reply, I meant about the extension. Devansh Saxena which extension you are installing and did you read the thread I replied. Please install any other extension just for check whether install or all extensions showing the same error.

* Please make sure that your VS Code is updated to the latest also not restricted by the anti-virus program or by firewall.
* Uninstall extension then install again.
* Clear you temp folders.
* Your VS Code and windows bit should matched if using windows.
* Restart your system.
If this works then good if not then.
* Lastly reinstall VS Code.

There are many reasons most common is Network, either user use VPN, proxy or ISP shared IP cause it

In my case it happened bcoz when I re-download vs code, these extension were not installed but still were existing somewhere in system, so I had to delete that folder, and re downloaded vs code, and this time it's working fine and not showing any error
