It didn't work for me .. Actually I've downloaded earlier version of vs code coz my laptop is (windows 7 ) . And I don't know what to do .. please help..( BTW I'm trying to download python extension)

@@unitedtoptech6288 Actually I have found a solution for it and it works .. so what i did is whatever kind of extension I want I download it from browser ( it's a kind of link that downloads extensions ) and then I install it in my VS code .... The extension that I used is compatible for my vs code version . Your video also helped me alot .. keep going♥️

in my VS code setting.json is empty only open close curly braces are there and still getting same error even reinstall vs code in window 7
