Well. I bought a camera body with very similar issue for $100 for myself and I fixed it in 3 hours. Thanks for the video! It helped a lot! Looks like this lever is a curtain brake which slows it down and it gets out of sync sometimes. There seems to be a spring with a nut covered in a blue locktight glue to adjust the friction. Maybe it needs to be tightened as well.
Hallo! thank you so much for your video, I have followed your previous video but I have not been successful in full fixing the shutter problem of my Mamiya Pro. I have not yet attempted to open the camera this much further because I need to get a solder , but I have recorded now the problem of my camera and the only next thing to try is this. It seems like the camera, when cranked after activating the pin by the curtain, can release the shutter and put the mirror up, but can't go further than that and bring the mirror down. I am able to force the mirror down either by engaging the cranking again (need to push the pin again to be able to do that) or by manually moving the plate you also move manually in your previous video. But after that I am not able to put that plate in the place it needs to be (that is the last step you do in your other video). It is always "in" no matter what I do. I leave here a video of the symptoms of my camera, you think the problem could be an inner gear out of place that I can reach if I open it like you do you here? ruclips.net/video/Ztmm99JoL0Q/видео.html Thank you so much in advance!
Hi, It's possible the camera wind up is not completed enough also. Before you disassemble further please try to adjust the lever. you will need to loosen the screw push the lever up or down (try both) and tighten the screw. try the lever up as far as it will go first, then try the camera. let me know how you get on. here's a link to the photo of the lever drive.google.com/file/d/1ESr-99wZlL12jDqKQmu8cjwrOoIq90Ol/view?usp=sharing
@@davehyper7835 thanks for the detailed and super quick response. Unfortunately I am totally unable to unscrew this small screw!! it really feels like it is glued somehow... any idea? Thanks!
@@davehyper7835 I will try right away with some nail polish remover, the screwdriver is definitely the right size, fits perfectly. Fingers crossed! Thanks!
Hi Dave, thank you so much for this video. i followed this video and found out that my copy has a dislocated fork selector. do you have any idea how to relocate the fork selector? hope to hear from you. thank you.

@@VaLaYNa Nail varnish remover should soften the glue. A decent fitting screwdriver should do the trick

@@davehyper7835 Hi Dave, my camera behaves in a very similar kind of way. which lever do you mean? The link expired, unfortunatly.

hi there. wish I could help you with this but unfortunately it's just a case of trial and error at this point.
