2:34 reduce the pass-out by half as half of students don't attend the classes and after 5-6 mnths they are not allowed to attend the classes due to 75% required attendence...this is the reality of bds...no one talks about it
I have lived in two different cities in India and i have visited dentists in both the cities and i know that they are earning very well and yes i think dentist with their private clinics and obviously with their very good skills can earn very well in this field.
Ok what if I say I know all the procedures and my skills are also good. Now what to do??? I can't afford to open a clinic!! I can only work in clinic and get salaray around 10k to 15k you tell me after 5 yeras of bds does anyone deserve this??? So instead of giving false hope to people please raise voice against DCI they should do something for us and I request all the people who can't afford to open a clinic pls stay away from dentistry .
Hello, I can completely understand. You will always be a doctor. Choose the right clinic. Move to a clinic which offers 25k + Incentives. Save a little money and search for the right options for you for investment. Buying a home.. Or stocks are not only the options we have now. If in the journey you find a calling do that..not necessarily in terms with Dentistry. :) I am doing all the research possible and from experience.. Will share a video soon.. How can a student earn and save and also as a dentist how can we grow :)
Trueee ..these youtubers only misguide us
i have cavity in rct tooth , should i get it treated befor crown fitting , dentist is saying cavity donot spread in rct tooth , so i should not worry , get crown fixed over the cavity . whats your opinion?
Hey Hi!! Can you please ping ne on Instagram: doctor.battisi and share the complete detailed history :)
Is MDS is necessary.... kindly make a video on it... because I run a dental clinic...I don't feel it much..but still people are doing MDS and after that also , they are not satisfied.. kindly make a video in this topic... Whenever possible..
1000% coming soon. Thankyou!! And I feel the same 🙌🏻🥂
No need ..To do MDS ...👍 U CAN OTHERWISE OPT TO FELLOWSHIP AND PG DIPLOMA COURSES ....
I just want to know that ... I am scoring below 200 in neet 2022 .. should I opt for mbbs in Bangladesh or i should opt for bds in private deemed college???

You are right mam.100 percent.

Every single word spoken here is true..Bitter truth is our policy makers will never give a better opportunity to the dentists. Moreover only 300 Govt seats against 25000+ candidates in MDS - And you dont even get to choose your preferred subject. Its a very sad thing that we run for a seat while others run for their speciality. Even the quak in your area earns more than you. Even if you want to do it honestly ,the system will screw you up.
🙌🏻🙈💔😷
I just want to know that ... I am scoring below 200 in neet 2022 .. should I opt for mbbs in Bangladesh or i should opt for bds in private deemed college???
Never ever till now 22 age for cleaning! Yes 🥰 patient should be fit in teeth . No patient -is a really happy day for a doctor... it means I am doing my job right. Thanks 🌈🎊❤️🎉for such an honest video
Saturation abhi sab mai hai....after mbbs also....sbko lgta h ki after completing mbbs bhut accha salary milega ..pvt hospital pg hire krte h jyada and govt hospital m agr vacancy 20 h mbbs k liye toh 200 + interview bhi dete h....so saturation sb mai hai. Dental mai saturation jyada hogya h ye bhi shi h...lkin baki m bhi yhi haal h ..and jisko jo mann kre whi kro chahe mbbs ho ya bds ho ya Ayush ke course ho
Hello mama i really but i am delling regretful that why i took bds,it's been 4mnths i've joined bds but still i am stuck on mbbs, why i choose this career what m gonna do after 4 years..you know it has become my depression.i really don't know what to do now.
Hey Hi! Firstly, we have to see the cause of it. If it is because you dont know what is the future.. Please see other videos on the channel. Or cant understand 1st year of BDS...Again videos are available. If not understanding BDS 1st year is the case probably you might feel the same way when in MBBS 1st year as mostly subjects are same. 2nd.. There is a book called Dentistry Unlocked available on Amazon and Flipkart.. Please I would request you go ahead with it. Now if you still feel the same way after the videos and the book, choice is always yours. Leave the course :) You have to understand what course and profession you are in. Wish you all the very best.
@@DoctorBattisi thank you for your suggestions it was good sharing with you, i'll try In Sha Allah
Can you please tell me if we can give NEET exam by continuing this course?
Payscale bhot kam ha
Zomato delivery boy bhi lag jaoge to ek dentist se zyada hi kma loge.
Baki rahe private clinic ki baat to provate hotel khol lena much better ha
In short BDS ke baad prvt jobs me 10 to 15000 rs per month ha
Max lga lo 3-4 saal practice ko to 25k de dega isse zyada nai.
MDS zarori ha kyonki BDS ki market value bhot kam ha 0 hi ha
Freshers ko koi pasa nai milta kaam krne ka
Yes, ya toh hum insab par focus karsakte hai ya in par:
MDS is not necessary. I have Seen amazing dentists BDS having 10L/Month practice.
Jobs nahin hai.. As life threatening nahin hai Utna Dental problem..utna and in India dentistry is 100-103 years old only.
In last 5 years there has been so much awareness and education.
Like any other industry and profession Dentistry has its own challenges. Choose BDS only if Its for you.
Idk why people still cry for job ..master your skill and start in some unexplored rural area there are plenty of places if you find success there expand

Is it good to do bds from college like pgids rohtak which is a reputed college bcoz my marka are 586 in neet 2022 and i think i dont get mbbs in haryana
Ma'am, what if we don't want to settle in rural areas. What if we want to practice with the best technologies and the best treatments. Then what's the scope of dentistry for us in India. 🙈
You will serve the people who can afford it. 😊 But what is the better way that serving the people who are in NEED. Also, having mentioned rural doesn't mean you wont earn.. You will earn quiet well. I have knowns who are running a very successful practice and they use good quality and technology products too. :)
@@DoctorBattisi In my opinion I feel life is not only about earning well or serving people. We need to be happy with our lifestyle too. And since I am bought up in dubai I don't fancy living or practicing in rural areas just for the sake of becoming rich or serving them. I'd rather do charity work towards cats than break my head explaining to people why they need treatment and then being labelled as shes making us do treatments which are not required. So wouldn't it be better for people with my mindset to say we have better scope abroad.

APUN KO BHI PEHLAY YEHI LAGTA THA .INTERSHIP MEI .AAJ BHAI 😎 PRO HAI ...
Not everyone most of female dentists not able to open clinics they need some kind of support, so government hospitals with increase number of post is necessary for your kind information, yes, government policy is responsible for lack of jobs in every sector even there must not privatization in medical colleges too , if pvt college cannot provide such facilities to students, India government is capable to undertake it because India has lot of resources, so, the reason u gave that it's not important, permanent etc. Its a mere excuse. Even surgery is high for rural area people still in 2021 that's why people also dont open thier clinics in those areas . In my opinion we should start questioning government why dont they open government hospitals in rural area in more numbers , every sector schools, banks, PSUS, hopefully hospitals too are getting private. This is the real disturbing truth. So, better check on government policies of employment for medicals
Hey Hi Doc!! Being a girl, I can completely understand how things are a little different for us. Honestly, dental treatment is not a priority for many as it's not life-threatening and secondly, of course, awareness is getting better but we still have a long way to go :) My main concern was that we must become competent enough that we get a government job but if not, it's NOT the end. Things are changing and yes there are few things that are really needed from the government's end. But that might be a long shot or might need time for the results to be seen. But dentist's like you and me can try our best and contribute, and I am sure doc people will join in and when we work and make change happen.. ..it will spread. Honestly, it is really challenging but it's possible :) #weallareinthistogether
@@DoctorBattisi first of all I apologize if I get rude somewhere in my previous comment, and that's my point is apart from skills we need some support from government's end also either they decrease dental seats, make dental hospitals even more , expand dentistry to rural areas also with subsidy or etc. Thier must many ways to overcome this saturation. Thank you for understanding my point.
@@snehaarora7630 its completely okay. More than rude it was true :) I got the vibe you had... Dentistry is changing.. We just need to keep going.. 🤗🤗

Hey Buddy Hi!! Heartiest Congratulations... Future is something you create. You will be a doctor and that too a specialized one. Bro this is all nonsense ...kisi ki baato mai mat aana ...... I have completed bds and currently m suffering form stress and depression...there are no jobs for bds ....kuch gov jobs nikalti hai to wo jugad se bade logo ko mil jaati...middle class k baccehe k pass itna paisa nhi hota ki wo 10 lakh lgakar clinic open kre ya mds kr paye .....nd private mai 8k-10k milte ....isse jyada to labour kama lete hai...
@@amanshukla5773 not denying and understand apne jo bhi kaha. But can we try to focus more on what can be done instead of what cannot be done? Who is stopping you to start a dental business with just 10,000? I got to share amazing Indian dental products by the Indian dentist's.... startups who started just in the last 6 months. Also, when we join any clinic, a clinic can only pay you what they can afford. Secondly, it depends on your skills. If we do not know the basic things..and the clinic doctor has to teach us obviously he or she won't be paying what we think we deserve. We all are in this together buddy. I don't know what is best for you but I know it's out there. Please keep exploring.. and take 1 step at a time. I was exactly in the same shoes as yours ... I completely understand but there is ALWAYS A way..
@@DoctorBattisi Mam they are saying right.
There are actually no jobs after dentistry.
Think of those who can't afford to open clinic. Opening clinic after BDS or MDS is not practical for all.
I want this thing we need to address why dentistry become oversaturated why they are exploited under clinics. Why they get only 5000 to 10,000 rs as a teacher even after studying so hard.
Maam plz can u guide me that should i chose bds as my neet marks is no sufficient and i also not want to do mbbs so if i opt bds from a private college will it be fruitfull!?

Okay 🙌🏻
I not hindistani and appreciate English. Secondly she is speaking to dentist, her faternity .
Skill point was awesome 👍👍👍.
All good things but I can guarantee that you have never worked in developing states and rural areas. It’s an experience that you should personally experience before making sweeping generalizations about dentists not wanting to go to rural areas. You cannot run a clinic on counselling with 100/- consulatation fees. With so much lack of education and myths. People will come to you for mostly extractions and scaling and since it is poor community u charge 50/- to 75/- for extraction and 250/- for scaling and 750/- rct charges. Dentists are also people with family responsibilities and need to make living a reasonable quality of life. Also there are no CBCT/OPG/RVG facilities in rural areas. You have to direct patients outside for these to district hospitals or city visits and do you know what happens then..they either go to some “quack” and get extractions or go to the doctor in district hospital or just not get treatment until it is rotten. Counselling is a extremely tedious non paying job aspect and it takes years and years to get a practice going in rural areas also. You cannot run a clinic a staff and your life earning less than 20k a month even in rural areas. It is so much easier to pass judgment and condescending comments but real life experience is entirely different doctor. Dental awareness is not something that you say 1-2 times and patients will listen. It takes years to build awareness. And even dentists want to be financially independent have a life own a house a vehicle or pay for a vacation. The highest rate of suicide is in the field of dentistry all over the world. It’s cheaper and easier to setup practice in rural areas but that does not mean a successful reasonably well paying practice. Maybe speak to some rural background dentists not willing to go back as you call me as to why they are hesitating to go. ❤
call them*
Hello, 6 hours ago means you have written this around 3am IST. So firstly thankyou for choosing the video at that time.
I understand each word you have written above. I have my close friends working in developing states and also have friends who were born in developing/rural and then shifted to Developed cities. So the scenario you mentioned is 100% true.
1. In your message above did you see opportunities?
2. We do need at least 2 sources of income right?
Suicide is the highest in Delhi and its daily wage workers mainly.. This I what I got from the research I did recently after I read it in your message. In the world, Korea has the highest.
I am not passing judgement, who am I do to so. I am sharing my experiences and perspectives.
3. We do need support/laws/bills from the government, I will not deny that.. But waiting for that will only waste our time.
I can just promise to share everything I can and have. Every drop of it. Without having hidden motives. This is what I have been doing. I believe India and Dentistry and Dentistry In India is having its huge growth years and will continue to do so.. For atleast 2-3 decades.
Every dentist has the right to choose what is best for them. It will always be their choice.
We all are on the same side buddy...
:)
Hello, I don’t know what 3am IST has to do with watching what video whatever u are trying to imply if for you to know. The highest rate of suicide by country in south korea that’s correct BUT i was talking about professionally… it’s highest in medical and dental the most BY PROFESSION GLOBALLY 😊. Nobody said that dental is not going to develop, it will medical and dental will always be around. But a lot of dentists by a significant number are unemployed and changing fields and that is not just because “they don’t want to go back to rural areas”. Ground reality is much harsher than what it feels like from a place of privilege… and why is the burden of rural graduates to improve rural areas😂 why cannot dentists privileged one who are very passionate from tier 1 cities move to tier 2 and 3 cities and do the good work. Knowing few friends from developing or rural areas is not experience in itself, i suggest you work for a year or 2 in the district levels clinics atleast in orissa jharkhand uttaranchal chhattisgarh etc to gain some perspective buddy
@@reeticanand5058 1. I tried language was a barrier for me.
2. Even If I work in Orissa, I won't be able to do patients in Jharkhand. India needs every dentist's support.
3. Saving and investments basic guide will help us have a home/car. These are never discussed in our colleges.
Even being in Delhi, I am working in not so privileged sector of the state. Working on leaves is fine.. But the real work is needed in the roots. And I am so happy to share the exponential growth I saw in last 5 years have been amazing. Scaling patient have gone up.. They come on their own for teeth cleaning. And wants to save their teeth.
I would love to work in health camps in the states you mentioned. And besides that working on how to manufacture in India so that the products cost is less and the dentist can save more by doing extractions etc.
I am giving my BEST, and I can only hope all Dental Surgeons give theirs. Besides, I never forced anyone to choose a path. It's their choice - ALWAYS!!

Future is created, buddy. No matter what field you choose, there is competition. There are no jobs. Even if you get one, NO ONE can give you job security. Dr Jasmine I agree with you partly that qualified, certified dentists are not much in proportion in rural areas for which rampant quackery persists but the demand ,awareness, purchasing power of rural area people is also very less for which nobody wants to go there seeing the population you may feel fascinated oh! a huge market but how many people are consuming those dental services even the dentists also feel reluctant to avail dental care very often forget about General citizenry DENTISTRY is suffering from double whammy with overly saturated cities and no market demand in hinterlands and rural areas.
