And I also don't brush before breakfast ...and may be this is the reason my teeth are healthy
I have been using Patanjali Dant Kanti for many years and I have no such teeth issues and pain by using Patanjali rather my teeth become good. Earlier I tried all kinds of Toothpaste which are available in the market but I used to get pain and bleeding in my teeth.
u can do it before breakfast but u hve to maintain atleast 40 mins of gap. problem is people r not understanding the concept of brushing n its timing w.r.t to ur meals. ur teeth n gums r sensitive after brushing or eating smthng. so if u drink or eat anything immediately after brushing it causes damage. n similarly if u brush right away after eating it will also cause damage. the basic is to maintain a 40min MINIMUM GAP BTWEEN BRUSHING N EATING..... but uf u r brushing at night after meal u can just hve ur BF, (no use of brushing before BF) n then wait for 40mins, dont hve any water, brushing immediately after intaking water too dilutes the toothpaste... DO NOT HAVE ANY WATER AFTER BRUSHING TOO, DONT RINSE UR MOUTH OR GARGLE JUST SPIT OUT, IT HELPS THE TEETH TO ABSORB FLOURIDE OR SMTHNG WHICH IS USEFUL... also after eating things which r too sweet sour or salty, just rinse ur mouth with water to minimize the damage.
Thank u so much for your info. I have a question that It is very annoying to not rinse the mouth after brushing the teeth (I use dabur toothpaste) So what should I do. And yeah it is very good information that if I did brush at night so I don't have to do brush before the breakfast

thank you very much mr. raj shamani.
So do i need to brush before breakfast
Very informative. My dentist never taught me Right way of brushing and never told that it's must to floss. Love your content. ❤
True, in India doctors are good only in RUclips video, when we meet then they hardly advise anything ..neither guide untill and unless ask personally and problem is concerned.very few doctors are good and really respectable .
@@himansusharma5012 it's actually not absolutely true. I live in Germany and the heath care system is so slow and inefficient in diagnosis. Where as in India atleast we have quick access to health care which is a blessing.
@@prithachatterjee8200 yes ,i can understand , at least we can visit private hospital and clinic quickly here in India . Germany is developed country then what is the reason madam ji ?

Kudos to Dr Mayekar! Straight from the heart and busted a lot of myths, happy this video is doing well ❤
Podcasts serve as a vital link between expertise and the middle class, offering access to valuable insights otherwise difficult to obtain through direct appointments. Raj Shamani, your efforts in this regard are deeply appreciated.

Raj, I am not your fan (though I like some of your videos) but I just loved this video and shared it with a lot of my connections and family especially the kids. This is so informative. You asked so many questions which are mostly in everyone's mind but we just ignore them. Convey my special thanks to the doctor. He explained everything so well and with such great examples. Waterpik irrigation flossing specially before bedtime is also very effective. It removes large food particles that brushing fails to remove. The purpose of brushing in my opinion is to only let the teeth be in contact with fluoride for about 2-3 minutes. The real cleaning is done by Waterpik

Dentist - Dr Roopsi
Absolutely right on point on every question was asked. Thanks for letting people know to go to dentist every 6 months, use floss at night and use soft bristles toothbrush.
I also believe in our old Auerveda practice called oil pulling in the morning. That helps gums, removes the stain from the teeth and toxins from your body. Coconut nut oil, Sesame oil, olive oil can be used. I’m f you have time in the morning fro extra 10 minutes, oil pulling is very good for the oral health.
My mother had pyorrhea and bad breath from years but when she started using patanjali medicated toothpaste.. she became fine.. till today no issue of pyorrhea
👍🏽👌🏽
Could have asked about Purple whitening serums, Oral care chewing gums and Water flossers.
I am using waterflosser & now 100% safe, otherwise after every six month Antibiotics, now tension free,
I belive this Is only applicable to humans not animals. I haven't seen any of them doing any of this! Iam curious why and how they survive or manage their cavities!!
Because animals don't eat processed (powdered raw material) food.
You have a point

Yeah that's why Animals in wild life survive more ..even with less food when they get their prey....but u can notice not all but many domestic animals like mostly dogs doesn't live longa as we feed homemade food which includes all masalas, oil ,salt, sugar etc ....while street dogs r still healthy as they eat raw meat
Very very educative. Excellent topic selected. Dr very graciously answered all questions sincerely.

One important question you perhaps could have asked is “do the contents of a toothpaste have an impact on our hormones”. Certain “health gurus” claim that some specific ingredients in toothpaste/ oral hygiene products impact the thyroid gland.
I am very strict with my oral health and I follow oral hygiene strictly. This video is very helpful for me.
It's the mind blowing one 💯....and it shows how much oral health awareness is needed in our society!

Patanjali tooth paste is the worst..This is fact..I am 36 yr old.....maine kabhi dentist visit nhi kia....kuki daant me kabhi dikkat aayi hi nhi....but jb maine Patanjali use kia for the very first time, sirf 2 weeks me hi mere teeth me pain hone lga...I used it because it's made of natural ingredients...but boht kharab toothpaste hai jisne 2 weeks me hi daanto ki band baja di, then my dentist (military dentist) suggested me to use white toothpaste....jo ki mai bachpan se use krti aa rhi thi.... aur jaha maine Patanjali use kia wahi kahani kharab ho gyi.....ab mai wapas se white toothpaste pe hi agyi.....
And I also don't brush before breakfast ...and may be this is the reason my teeth are healthy

Informative Podcast on Dental Health
Thanks to both you Raj and Dr Mayekar.
Very thorough and insightful upload ❤
The anchor is also very good and draws out the best from the doctor
u can do it before breakfast but u hve to maintain atleast 40 mins of gap. problem is people r not understanding the concept of brushing n its timing w.r.t to ur meals.
ur teeth n gums r sensitive after brushing or eating smthng. so if u drink or eat anything immediately after brushing it causes damage.
n similarly if u brush right away after eating it will also cause damage.
the basic is to maintain a 40min MINIMUM GAP BTWEEN BRUSHING N EATING.....
but uf u r brushing at night after meal u can just hve ur BF, (no use of brushing before BF) n then wait for 40mins, dont hve any water, brushing immediately after intaking water too dilutes the toothpaste...
@@Vijay-iz4vbsame question. And I'm brushing twice daily for my whole lifespan of 23 years and still got cavities in 2/3 teeth.
I adn using Patanjali Dant kanti since 5 years and i have not visited a dentist since. I don't have bad breath. I used to have severe dental problems. No more now.
Very informative. Enjoyed every second of it.
