I just ventured into videography, not yet specific on my area of concentration (wedding or something else) I am learning to grow this beyond my local ( internationally), that's my goal and you have the tools I need to focus on as I grow. Thank you so much! So the irony in this is I HATEEEE reality tv lol. It’s legit the most cringy thing BUT I love the style as it relates to weddings. Some that I get inspiration from is Cheer, selling sunset, any of the love shows like the bachelor lol
I love this idea and haven’t heard it before. I already have push back from people not wanting to be mic’d for big moments. I’m almost certain that if I throw mic’s on people randomly throughout the day, they aren’t going to want all their personal conversations recorded and possibly used in the final film. Have you found this to be an issue?
It’s something you have to sell in your consultations not the day of the wedding. Now I mic the bridal party and rarely get any push back. I’ve had maybe 2 people total not want a mic. I try telling them that it’s almost like reality tv or nfl micd up lol
yes, let them have fun and don't step in. We had someone like you at our wedding and it was nice but we were like... don't step in our jokes... We don't need to hear your stories. Be a fly on the wall. IMO
