Hello! So I'm currently embarking on a personal project, it's an SCP Explained Watchlist for people who don't know where to start with SCPs, the first video on the playlist is mine (it's just a 10-second video of a 3d render I made) and it's intended to be used as the playlist's Suggestion hub for people who have more knowledge about the connections of different entries to help inform me of the best order to put these videos in! The playlist name is < SCP Explained Watchlist > by Bruh Brother
Please do consider it, I'm trying to craft the best experience for newcomers to the SCP Fandom.
(Edit: Also, don't feel pressured to do this, I just need more input from people who know nothing of the Foundation, if you think it would take too long to go through them or you already have a lot on your hands ❤)
I can use that playlist as a reference for some videos, I don't mind doing that, I still plan to prioritize recommendations from people first but if I don't have those, I can react to things from that list, so thanks for mentioning it, and for putting it together, seems like some nice help to go deeper into SCP stuff !

A top secret organization that only works with the highest powers of the world, dealing with extremely dangerous or even innocent phenomena and creatures, anomalies, but I am still surprised that they did not try to use all the pills in the pills SCP just to test if they replenish or what happens if they are all gone, since unless they do that, they would not know if the SCP just replenishes them, or if dies or what happens exactly and I thought they would want to know
@@VithLiahain And also, fun fact about foundation: this is pretty much a multiversal organization, since they are interact with other versions from other universes. Some people even think, that database of those thousands of objects - is combined database of different S.C.P. foundations.
@@venom_spy437 Some SCP's do certainly prove that there are other dimensions and nonsense in the world, but I did not even think about the possibility of multiple universes with multiple Foundations, or them actually being connected, and with how many mysteries the Foundation has, who knows what they are hiding and are capable of, so who knows

I didn't around to it yet, I've been a bit busy recently, then sick, and there are so many things people recommended for me to watch that I am a bit overwhelmed, but I'll get around to them eventually !

The main part is covered by both videos like what the foundation is supposed to be and some examples
But the exploring series does a better job explaining the meta aspect of the community like the official website, the community, cannonicity, and more

I'm gonna try and be as unbiased as I possibly can
SCP animation channels on youtube have been regarded as "to be avoided" by the SCP Community
The argument used is that they change aspects of the original SCP, sometimes minor ones and sometimes huge plot points (I'm sure someone can give specific examples in the replies)
On the other hand, these animations are easier to follow because of their visuals and a more narrative approach
Also they tend to do better with views
So if you care about the SCP community, I recommend the channels: The Volgun, The Exploring Series and MR_ILLUSTRATED
If you care about just getting a superficial explanation about SCPs and getting a lot of views and volume of videos stick to the animations
In the end it is your channel and if who don't want to watch should just go watch something else
Now as a personal biased opinion
I don't like the SCP animations
I think they portray every video as childish
They add alternative stories as if they were in the original article
They FREQUENTLY add on top of the original
And sometimes they change plot points to make the story more clickbaity
Now, if you would, for example, watch multiple videos of the same SCP, then these would be great actually, because with the animation you can get the gist of the main parts and ideas and then with a more respectable channel you get the actual facts and details and what end up realizing what the animation changed
But as a single source of information, I think SCP animations are a disservice to the community
That's interesting, I did not expect this with how popular the channel is, tho I do agree that the animation is kinda funny for what it is supposed to display, and someone else told me something similar but less direct at some point, to be fair tho, I did already record a few of the animation ones, which are not on the channel yet, but I did cause I thought with how popular they are that they might be the best choice, that they are so popular because they are good, but I will try the other channels once I finish posting the already-recorded stuff !

Are you sure? I saw that there are other channels that also have animations with it, from previewing this one I saw just pictures and text, wouldn't an animated one be better?

Yea warning don't get into scp for now is a massive rabbit which I love but first I reccommed finishing your other series before staring this because is a endless rabbit hole of scp
I do have a ton of things to see and play so I understand your warning, tho I will at least watch a couple of SCP things over time since they were recommended by people
