Yeah, that guy is like known for rage baiting the black community. Due to he purposely did this just the rage bait the black community. Yes, it does fallen into blackface and I’ve seen several POC creators on tiktok call this out as blackface. And I took problem with him, saying the blacks of the Internet. And him giggling about it, knowing the fact that it was going to get a lot of views because he was going to piss off a bunch of people.

That’s giving the brand money and attention by using their product, even if it’s not showing it in a good light. You can easily do a video talking about the situation WITHOUT buying the product to use! Uhhh….yeah….he just wanted attention! The shade isn’t going to match anyone, but IF it were to match someone, it would be someone extremely deep (but even then, it wouldn’t match because it has NO undertones 😂) but anyways, so people buying it to try who aren’t anywhere close to that shade…like the Asian guy….are only doing it for views and drama. And it makes it WORSE because they went out and bought that foundation, which is giving MONEY to this brand that does NOT deserve it! They want to talk about it, they can do it without BUYING the foundation! This brand doesn’t deserve any money, yet people are running out and buying it to show how awful the shade is and how bad the brand is….the brand they just handed money over to in order to make their video 🙄 He also contradicts himself a ton - he’s not into makeup, doesn’t wear makeup, but wanted to review the foundation. Then says he’s always wanted to do makeup reviews…buuuuut he’s not into makeup, doesn’t wear makeup 😬🥴
The crazy thing to me is that on the pale guy it looks like it would potentially work on darker skin. Like it didn’t look like straight black somehow. Honestly his skin probably gave it an undertone or something idk

This is what I was thinking. I'm also a makeup artist and this foundation is not good for anything other than shade adjusting. It aint even good for face paint because it doesn't have enough coverage and isn't black enough for that lmao
Yes, it was “blackface” because he prefaces the review by saying “the blacks out there” …the black what? Person place or thing? I think he means black people! If people then say black people, NOT “the blacks” BUT that still may be excused by his ignorance of the American history of the ill treatment of black Americans! And who in past(sometimes present) black people are referred to as animals or property!
