Just bought the same desk (HÄLLESTAD) and shelves (2x ALEX) for the same desk as you! The desk is being discontinued soon so that's why I bought it now! Can't wait! Decided because of how sick it looked in your new video! Hopefully, I'll get a cooler setup now! I'm planning on getting a 3M LIFX strip on the back like yours! :D

Thanks buddy! Yeah I'm really happy with them! Oooh good question. It's a little different for me now cos I have the ultrawide in the middle (it's curved) so my angle on the outer 2 monitors is actually less than it used to be (I wanted it to kinda naturally follow the curve of the ultrawide). When I used to have all three 27 inch monitors, I went for around 30 degrees. Whether or not this is optimum for productivity, I have no idea, but yeah I'm not a fan of super steep angle on the outer monitors!

I record my videos with a smart phone, so there is no depth of field blaring of the background. Do you think the lights will still look good in my background? Or will it just look like I have a piece of plastic that lights up behind me lol

Yeah they're pretty cool right!? Good question - it supports up to a maximum of 8 beams and 2 corner pieces. So you'd have to buy a 2nd kit and ONLY use 2 beams and one corner piece. Seems kinda silly to me, but... Yeah! I guess you could then use the leftover 2nd kit elsewhere and only use the 4 remaining beams...
i had my nano leaf setup right behind my monitor , had to move it at one point due to it being my primary light source and me going blind after continuously looking into it

are there any moving themes or are they all static?
All the themes are static :( only way to animate them is to use the app as I mentioned but then it kinda relies on the app being open
