The ferries crossing the Channel Sea between UK and France have interesting elevators too. The ships often have 5 or 6 decks, the 2-3 lower decks are the car decks, and the upper ones are the passenger area, and there are lot of things, casinos, shops, restaurants, etc... even if the crossing is only 1 hour long ! I remenber when I went to the UK in 2012, that I saw 2 elevators inside one of these boats. I've not ridden them, but they had lamp indicators, and rather old-looking fixtures. The boat itself was rather old, from the 70s.
Those awesome chimes! I like how m/s Cinderella has much more elevators then the other Viking Line boats.
And it's so cool it has got scienic elevators!

+Heritage Elevators Are those dewhurst buttons? They have the most awful beep sound I've ever heard. Kone buttons have a nicer beep sound although still a redundant feature. Why does the first freight elevator skip deck 4?
Because it is the upper car deck and no need for it to stop there.
The scenic elevators have Scheafer 42 "Budgetline" buttons... Budget fixtures for a nice classic cruiseferry, how pathetic is that

17:00 Floor indicator bulbs replaced to LEDs
Love those classic Schaefer ET 28. It's a shame to see the scenic elevators have been horribly modernized with those boring Schaefer BudgetLine fixtures. The same thing also happened to all the passenger elevators at the cruise ship where I worked before; they slapped the original KONE M fixtures inside with boring BudgetLine, but luckily they didn't do the same thing for the crew elevators :-)
i was on a royal carribean ship last year and it had amazing kone m series! it was my first one as we don't get them here in north america
