- One thing you should know is it isn't the responsibility of the railroad to make sure the loads are secure, shipper shouldn't over fill them and if logs fall off they'll stay there forever where they lay. Don't get too close!

I'm a truck driver and if I have a marker light out and get caught, it's points on my record but if a train has crap hanging off it that could hurt someone, noone gives a crap.

As I understand it, it's the responsibility of the shipper to secure the loads and obviously the shipper has actually overloaded the wood on some of the cars. I'm sure that there will be a fee less logs for the mill to use.
That is so weird part of the crew chater on manards new Chicago &northwestern Loco releas is a few hangers and hope they make it to the mill can't make that crap up

Any logs that fall off the train get used in E&LS' tie replacement program. 😂
Now on to iron mountain surprised nobody jumped out in front of the train.

The conductor is responsible for the train’s safety and any obvious signs of danger mechanically and or to its cargo and its passengers. That’s what my old conductor buddy told me who worked on the old NEW HAVEN Railroad for 35 years. The conductor is the boss of a train, not the engineer.
Not sure in today’s railroading. Everything has gotten very loose and substandard today.

Amazingly conflict of the three Bells the one on the locomotive the Pleasant bell at your Crossing and the clanger at the previous one. Just wondering maybe the first four Gondola's are empty for those mining tailings. Those no left turn signs almost make one think of a post-world War II item that would be on a Lionel layout. Besides the five that are gone from the Milwaukee area I think they had a few on the mainline south of Glenview IL on a Major Street but they have been replaced with.bright LED signs similar to the ones on Virtual rail @ Ashand VA. Can you just imagine them at night all flashing as the Copper Country Limited made it's stop?
Im sure the engineer is complaining. Probably wonders if hes in 'The Twilight Zone'.

Does that train go far enough to ride? You seem to know where the cargo is coming from and going to, you got the beard, all you need is a gallon of water and some snacks and your set.
One would think the NTSB would confront the carrier, ELS, regarding the dangers involved of the hanging wood; especially across road crossings. A definite lack of responsibility on both the part of carrier and the NTSB.

Obviously you don't know about the law and motorcycles. 30 cars could run the stop signal and the law would ignore them. But let 1 motorcycle run the stop signal and they will chase him down and issue a ticket. I know because i've been a motorcyclist for over 65 years.
