Currently in this dilemma as a resident and don't know what path is best. Mindest is an innate thing and something I dont think we have much control over. As long as your mindset is directing you to your version of happiness thats all that matters. ❤
That saying of "I get to" rather than "I have to" is such an important part of framing your experience. I'm a non-traditional student coming from paramedicine working to go to medical school you're 100% right that how we feel about the work and our role in it is paramount. My first EMS job was horrible, second was better, and now my third is the best I've ever had. All of that came from how I saw myself as a provider and what I was capable of doing to meet my ultimate goals. Thank you for this! Subscribed!
