I enjoyed this! I was also recently invited to the vine program in the US, and try to live somewhat minimally. I’ve ordered a few products but fully suspect I will be dropped eventually for not ordering enough. We are taxed on any items we request and the listed value is counted as “income,” so I’m afraid of how it might end up costing me come tax time.
@rby82589 ooh do your terms and conditions in the US specify any minimum order amount in a given period? The Australian version doesn't seem to have any minimums, only that you review 60% of the vine items you order, which can be as few as you want... but yes the tax thing makes it harder, although if you stick to ordering things you need anyway, you're essentially just getting them at a big discount right? I think it will take some time to get into a rhythm with it that feels right, but it's a nice benefit, particularly with the current cost of living :D
