If this article is true, then I don't know who is advising Trump. My friends who are liberals and independents are actually willing to listen to Vivek even though he has the same policies as Trump. He presents them in a way that is far more intelligent and palatable to the other side than anyone else Trump can bring on as his VP.

@@bthompson1767Let's assume that's true. You still get a good share of the center center-left vote which you must get to win. As VP, she won't have much sway policy wise. But she can advise on important things like foreign policy as she has personal experience. I'm telling ya, a bipartisan ticket is a shoe in. His base isn't going anywhere no matter who he picks. The right pick will pick up moderates, indies, and even some left leaning votes. That's a must have. Democrats are rapidly abandoning all but the radical left. As long as there's a sane, seemingly safe option elsewhere (like Gabbard), the votes will come. Those voters will be thinking "He's pretty old already, should he not make it...we get President Gabbard...that sounds good to me."
