Awesome video. I was always wondering why my Honda accord subs went nuts when i closed all the windows. I bought a newer Accord and I am excited to try this and get the system sounding right.
nice video I had to do this my 2020 accord sport to because each time I was driving it would cause a loud humming noise that would only go away if I let down the window a bit or when I would make a full stop but would start again when the car would move again best thing i did because it was annoying
Is this necessary even if I haven’t installed a new sound system ? It’s doing a weird humming / buzzing noise . I have a 2021 Honda Accord Lx stock audio
How much louder is the cabin with the ANC disabled? I'm about to do this on my 2023 Honda Accord and I want to make sure this is worth it for an aftermarket sound system.
Great video bro. Quick question how were you able to get your subs that far back in the trunk? I have the same subs and 2020 Accord sport 2.0 but unable to move it that far back. Please let me know
It’s my friends car! He did a custom setup so it would fit and he mounted the amps on the backseat then push them down so nothing is directly behind the box but even with seats up it’s sit far back
No it doesn’t trigger any warning lights or anything car play still functions and all.. you will need to disable the ANC to run an aftermarket sub or you’ll have a constant buzzing and squeaking from the speaker
my car is the same as yours, and I have issues with it and honda wont replace it because “ honda hasn’t said anything in regards to that”. im so mad bro
Mine still works even with the ANC disabled. The whole system itself is really terrible tbh CarPlay sucks the Siri barely recognizes spoken language but it still works every now and then
Wrong! The ANC drones out ambient noise and exterior noise by pumping sounds through the speakers however you if you add a new amp or alter the stereo it gives a buzzing sound hence why you have to disable it
DAMN I actually was drooling over that 2001 Toyota Corolla. Such fun little town cars. The old TOP.

Yeah you have to disconnect it once you have a new sound system or any interference with the stock audio.
👍🏾👍🏾Same thing was happening to mine I JUST did this to mine and it worked THANK GOD!!!
@@charleszzwhite6718 glad it worked

@@alexisjasso1190 did you find out what it was? Same car as you just started this humming this morning
Solid video brotha! This helped out big time and I’m about to do this soon. Big thanks! 💪🏼

I did not notice a difference
@@RAMONEAuto thank you for the reply!
before the humming, was there a difference in quietness when the ANC got disabled?
Does disabling ANC also disables the microphone for hands free usage?
No it doesn’t

Hey one question does this silence the buzz that starts when you start your car and when you accelerate also?? Or no I have a 2020 LX
Yes it will prevent that buzzing sound completely
Awesome work my dude!
Thanks for watching 🤟🏽🙏
When you Disable ANC does it affect the Apple Car play or bluetooth music? Does any warning lights show

@@RAMONEAuto I have stock speakers for my car but I hear a humming sound so I will disable ANC
@@avelardoangulo9583 yes disable the ANC and the problem will be solved
Does this apply to the 1.5t as well? I have the 21 Sport SE.

by any chance does this make hands free siri stop working? My siri doesn’t respond to me anymore after doing this
Mine still works even with the ANC disabled. The whole system itself is really terrible tbh CarPlay sucks the Siri barely recognizes spoken language but it still works every now and then
Does this process knock out the Bluetooth?
No Bluetooth and every thing works
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Random question. Do you or anyone here know how to stop the third brake light from flashing?
Mine does not flash neither does my buddy they both got 21 as well. Maybe you have a short or sum
What is the ANC? What’s the purpose of it ?
It’s an active noise canceling system helps to Reduce exterior noise from entering the cabin with the help of the stereo and stuff
I took it out and threw it across the floor like a frisbee
It's definitely not ANC. Quite the opposite. Adds engine noise to the cabin.
Wrong! The ANC drones out ambient noise and exterior noise by pumping sounds through the speakers however you if you add a new amp or alter the stereo it gives a buzzing sound hence why you have to disable it
Poor car
