Overall a good video. The oil cap should cover the entrance so nothing falls in. Should put some fresh oil in the oil filter when replacing it to reduce stress on the first start-up after the oil change. You should also replace the crush washer. The air cabin filter was oriented in the wrong direction (air flow is down and not up)
Mentioned the dirty cabin filter causes occupants to breathe dirty air, but filter is catching the dirt that isn’t now going inside cabin. It may be restricting air flow but air is still clean going into cabin.
I drive a 6 manual 2019 , 150,000 miles on in. I do Lyft with it and people go crazy about . I enjoy driving it. Gets me a little tired but I can manage it...

Great video. Can you do a step by step video on the New 10 speed ATF drain and fill? The newer transmission nowadays don't have a dipstick. I heard there are specific details you have to follow like using a temperature scan gun and all. More complicated than back in the days where there's a dipstick to check ATF like a dipstick for checking engine oil. I appreciate all and any assistance you provide. Thank you.
Great video! you're natural at finding the parts in the car. My cabin filter was super dirty when I changed it out at 12,500 miles. Currently my car has 13,900.

Hey I have a question about the steering wheel, so dumb question does the accord have an electrical steering power and if so that means it does not need steering fluid?
Do you guys ever replace brake fluid/ flush I feel like most people say it’s not even worth it and some say it’s a must 3 years/30k whatever comes first.
Honestly it depends on your driving like me I drive about 2500 miles a month to work and just daily driving but I drive up and down a hill “ Cajon Pass” in California so that takes a huge toll on my brakes so I’ve already replaced my brakes resurfaced rotors brake flush and about to do it again but just replace the rotors and pads again basically while nother brake service just because of my driving everyday
@@sheeshtv721 I have a 2018 Honda Accord LX with 37 thousand miles, I bought the car pre owned from a Honda dealership my question is when do you think should I change the brake fluid , and should I only replace the brake fluid in the reservoir or do a complete brake fluid change with the calipers bleed out the old fluid in them ???? Plz help
do you feel any jerkiness with your 2.0t? I feel a little bit of jerkiness when braking and sometimes in the beginning of accelerating and also the car shakes a bit after turning off the engine. I heard some people say this car has that bc of all the gears it goes through but others have said it’s supposed to be smooth
@@oboyz3848 i bought mine used with 21k miles but tbh i’ve noticed it less at 28k miles now or i just got used to it LOL. got an oil change at 26k so maybe that could’ve made a difference too idk
Nope you’ll be just fine...but you will have a lot of drone a lot in regular drive but in sport it’ll drone just not as much and it’ll have some burble and it’ll smell like gas badly
You should put a K&N air filter It's actually reusable and it actually makes your car about 5 to 10 horsepower more It costs $50 but you could tell the difference is worth it
I strongly recommend everyone stay away from a k&n air filter. Yes it does increase horsepower because it’s got more air flow going through it. How do they achieve more air flow you ask? Because they use a lot less filtering material so you’re actually having more dust/dirt go past the filter and straight into your engine. Thus causing prematurely worn piston rings. Just stay with oem filters or similar and replace them every 15k miles.

Just wanted to point out 4:23 arrow facing up when installing new filter, but 4:32 says arrow (air flow) pointing down.
I have a 2019 2.0 t with the 6speed in san marino red and i love it. I do all my own stuff also
Sheeeesh them 6speed’s are rare to find! It’s a hell of a lot cheaper doing it yourself and error or mishap you know who touched it last.

The blue cap has a window washing symbol on it for window washing fluid?
Did he say coolant? Cuz I also thought it was for window washer fluid
Yeah there’s a cap directly under the washer fluid reservoir for the coolant.

@@sheeshtv721 The manual also says add coolant directly into the radiator under the radiator cap. Not too high on filling.

5

Got a question. When rotating tires, shouldn’t you put the front wheels to the back and the back wheels criss crossed to the front?

does all of this work for the 1.5 version?
If you have the 1.5 sport which will have the auto 10spd you would yes follow the same steps and just get ATF instead (Automatic Transmission Fluid).
