Strange New Worlds has brough back Star Trek like no other show before it. An updated version of the Original Series we all loved and grew up on. I think that Star trek lost its way a bit by moving into these long "story arcs" we saw with the STNG, DS9 and Voyager series, and SNW has brought us all back to the format (the "beginning to end" show) that everyone enjoyed with the OS. I think everyone was yearning for this to happen, and the cast, esp. Anson Mount and Ethan Peck, could not have been more ready made for their roles, as everyone immediately realized during their time on Discovery. I don't think anyone at Paramount expected the avalanche of support and demand for a Pike Series with Anson Mount at the helm, but fans who watched Discovery sensed it immediately. Rodenberry would be proud.
I don’t know if it was at the directors behest or a choice that Ethan made, but I love the difference in the way with which he kissed a Vulcan woman as opposed to how he kissed a human woman; big difference! 😘
Too clean of a look on Spock is not good. The hair should be a bit longer like " Amok Time" Spock or " Mirror Mirror" Spock. Also, TOS had the best ears for Spock and through STTWOK. The ears became smaller and at almost a 45 degree angle. The ears improved in ST VI. I was stunned to hear Leonard Nimoy felt very similar to my opinion. He said some of the movies got the ears wrong.
Is it me and Ethan Peck(Spock) on Star Trek: SNW sounds like Benedict Cumberbatch, he does not sound like Lenard Nimoy, And Pike looks more like Kirk, it more like a TOS remake, it feels like it to me, I like it, and it still has a Fringe connection... :)

i will b e honest star trek discovey vs orville got mixed up tried to game to so many equal things in there it was lost, throwing the alphabet doesnt mangbqrdfgthuijkl;'/;. is the correct or incorrect answer but chokcing down so many side stories that suck their ow black hole wastes our time, stick with a gay doctor without killing the mood!

I'm loving Anson Mount as Captain Pike and Ethan Peck as Spock so much. Strange New Worlds is my favorite right after TNG now.
