In November 1966, I bought a Bahama yellow 912 with a ‘Mexican’ AM-FM-SW Blaupunkt radio for $50 extra. Total cost was $4958. I choose a 5 speed transmission with not added cost. Fantastic automobile!
The 912 was part of Porsche's plan by at least 1963, and was available from April 1965 onward. In 1967 a Porsche 912 won the European Rally Championship for its class.
I thought that before I bought my 912. Theyre similar visually, but that's about it. It's the motor Porsche used in the 356 with 90hp standard with dual 40mm Solex carbs. When the 911 had a sales slump, the boffins at Porsche installed the 4 cylinder and sales escalated dramatically. So I'm told anyway
I was thinking the same but I do like it going back to where it was last repaired same guys working on it, few touches and it should look new , probably does by now and is making some new guy smile rather than sitting in a garage
Wayne! I like your show but you need to tell your viewers how much you buy and sell the cars! this educates your viewers. I don't watch your show because of this reason!!!!

Really is one of the best car shows out there, educational and interesting. Not like most of the other fake shows on cars.
I'm the proud owner of this beautiful car!
Joey Booker Beautiful. Irish Green?
How is it running those days?

You still own it ?
