- Charlotte Harbor has faced major water quality issues over the years from Lake Okeechobee discharges. After spending two days on the water there, Captain Sam Atwell quickly realizes how incredible the fishery is despite those concerns.

Awesome video. Can I ask what would be the average rate for a captain to show you the ropes if it’s on your own boat ? While I know what it cost to hire a captain on his boat as I did it last year. But I’m moving to the area for winters and have a boat to play on. Spent my life fishing the cape and islands here in New England but this is a different fisheries in the flats than what we have here.
