esam has really been putting in work and having his efforts pay off, good for him. Also why did they even count that first match lmao that wasn't exactly fair when he got fog in his eyes half way though

P sure ESAM would have to ask the TO to ajudicate that and he seemed like he just wanted to run it back. It's one of those things where a player usually has to flag that they had a problem with what happened.
ESAM said that he could see the screen just fine and thought Light was affected as much as he was.
ESAM wasn't the only one affected by the fog, you know...

Light lost the last game for the same reason he lost to Nairo's ganon: whenever he got hit over to the left platform, he jumped in and fastfell. Good set tho

In my opinion esam is the sweatiest smash bros player. Its fun to watch him in tournament but I swear if I ever get to play him I'm getting hit with 17 nairs into a spike or lightning on all three stocks and won't get to throw out more than 2 hitboxes. Throw in broken Pikachu and he seems painful to play against.

Thank goodness Pikachu cannot simply chain grab, D-throw Fox or other star fox characters till they're over 100%, then finishing them off with an up smash, like back in Brawl. Like it's actually a fair match now!
This is such a shit MU for Fox. One of the few times he gets out frame data'd and Pikachu has a way better recovery too.
That MU has been absolute trash for Fox since like Brawl.

ESAM is Busted
both characters have very similar game plans. Pika has better off stage 100% I think that's what makes the difference. Slight pika favor in this MU.
