I just purchased a NOKTA LEGEND WITH VERSION 1.11. I watched your video and put in the coin program now I’ll try it out. I don’t know if my version will respond the same. I am brand new to this and your advice is invaluable. The manual tells you what the settings do but DO NOT tell how to put in a profile. You would think the company would put in some basic profiles. I am paying attention to everything you say. Good job. Like you said it’s complicated for a simple machine.
Excellent step by step. Just the the way i wanted someone to help me learn this machine without spending all the personal time to experiment with mine. Thx!

Hi , Mental Metal , I have the Ledgend , v1.07 , I don't have access to a computer to upgrade , would this program work on the 1.107 , by the way I have subscribed and really appreciate you taking the time to help out us newbies !
I love this coin program, Ive been using it for about a year and its awesome. I just updated to v1.15 though and now I have no idea how to put it back in. Its a little different in how they do the tone breaks now.

I just loaded this into one of my open slots in my Legend. Wind chill is -10F today, so I'm not going to try it just yet. It all makes sense to me as far as the ranges you set though!

Thanks so much for this program. Wondering how this would work at salt water beaches. Using the park mode. Or if it should be set up in the beach mode. I hope to test both out-this week and let you know. For the hell of it i may even throw-in a few gold rings to see how the program responds. Thanks for a good starting point.
I think if you were on the beach I would use the beach program. This coin program will not pick up jewelry very well. If you are looking for coins and if rings fall in the same range (most of the time they don't) then it might work but I would stick to the beach programs.

If you want to find Canadian coins my advice is just dig a lot more holes lol. Our coins are not consistent in any way. Especially the rusty ones! They can appear anywhere from iron nail range and up. Even the program he sets up here is going to miss coins I guarantee it. They just vary in composition and conditions too much over the years. These programs will help reduce the amount of trash you dig while you hunt coins however they won't find you everything of all ages. Even some small silver coins can ring up in non tradition coin zones.
@@MrBottlecapBill, sorry for the late reply on this. Though I’m more searching for older coins, I’m not against finding a few bucks in modern ones to buy a coffee either lol…. Anthony, the higher the number the louder the target will sound whether its deep or not. You want to run somewhere in the middle like 3 to get the depth perspective of the target. In other words, if you have a piece of trash close to the surface and you have the gain set at three, the trash target will ring louder because its closer to the coil. However a silver dime at 6 inches will be a very different and won't ring as loud telling you that its deeper. If you run everything high (like on 6) you won't hear that difference every thing will ring loud and you won't get that depth perception that you would if you ran it at 3 or lower. Now, there will be times perhaps at he beach where you may want to hear those deep targets ring louder, this would be where you would bump up the gain to something like 5 or 6. Hope that helps.
On the coin shooting program I noticed that you left custom mode and went into F. Can you explain that a little bit?
