Watching those episodes on DVD, the mini cliffhangers are kind of quaintly unnecessary. But during the original broadcast, they were very effective. Thank you very much for the video! 🙏🎯😁
You are correct. The broadcast audience does not watch YT. The broadcast audience is mostly Boomers watching their cop serials. I know, my parents are them. They love Blue Bloods. Star Wars left their world when Disney decided to stop releasing films in theaters and put their new shows on streaming.
Yep. Nice simple stuff (as a Boomer). In the UK probably the most popular cop serial is the most lightweight which is now in four franchises, the main two are Death in Paradise (Season 14 and 2 spin offs) and Midsomer Murders (now in Series 23), they're fairly lightweight very straightforward shows (despite the murders). All the gritty tough dramas populated by strong women and ethnic characters who are all good and white people who are all bad (it is that unsubtle), they don't get beyond Season 1 often. This apparently doesn't seem to get through to the people who make TV. The shows they want to make sink without trace. The ones they are basically forced to make because there'd be riots if they were cancelled go on forever. Nobody cares about ethnicity (Death in Paradise is set in the Caribbean, so most of the cast is black anyway). What they object to is it being pushed at gunpoint.
Its amazing to consider that 2 guys who sit behind a camera in their homes and talk are the ones who took down this multi-million-billion-whatever $ movie studio. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gary and Drinker being so huge behind Chato... Like the Trolls listening to the Dwarves in the Hobbit...
It literally is sending out the flying monkeys on their critics.
I got that reference.
😆 LOL 😆!
In the original novel, it’s made very clear that the flying monkeys are no better than slaves and they’re relatively innocent. Here, they’re volunteering to hurt people they disagree with.
@@markiangooley not volunteering, thay are paid for (the big media it is, shills are shills for free)
But the studio emploiees are another story.
Here in Brazil, TV studios forced theyr emploiees to engage on social media, under threath of dismissal and blacklisting them from the media business.
They even had to create some false Facebook and Twitter accounts to boost the studio's narratives with pre-set dicourse and false engagement numbers, if they wanted to keep theyr jobs, or have a chance of new oppportunities on the industry ever again.
BTW, I'm paraphrasing an interview with an former actor that witnessed it all.
Do not tell me that Un-hollywoke would be any different
Good point about mini-cliffhangers and commercial breaks. I'd imagine showrunners and advertisers hashed out early on what most effectively kept audience's attention and sold the most products.
That's a big "ouch" to Pauly Shore and Sarah Silverman. 😆
They are scum. Barely worth licking the feet of Rob Schneider or Buscemi.
media.tenor.com/I_W4JEnEv7MAAAAM/pauly-shore-ouch.gif
I wasn't sure who should be insulted by that comparison. I can just imagine Sarah Silverman coming out and saying, "Come on, I'm not THAT bad!"
Drinker and Nerdrotic were the kid pointing out that the Emperor had no clothes.
They had the legitimate analysis of an inferior production.
Thanks for summing that up. These days I often feel like I‘m living in a different Universe, since somethings have become their perverted opposite.
I meant some things ;)
Oppressed rich black girl magic.
btw, the r-worded rap song was a deliberate honey trap to get channels Disney doesn't like struck with a false DMCA if they played it. The real targets didn't take the bait.
Remember these are the same people that dreamed up #ThemToo and used it to remove people like John Lasseter and many others on trumped up charges. It has been a downward spiral ever since.
THEY MUST BE GIVEN THE "BUD LIGHT" TREATMENT
@@sharonthebarron pathetic!
I guess she is real mad at her rich white daddy.
Limits create a better creative process and outcome? That's unpossible!
It is truly amazing that Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker can influence seven billion humans to ignore Disney's trash. I am impressed. Much respect to them.
THEY MUST BE GIVEN THE "BUD LIGHT" TREATMENT
Disney, "Are we out of touch? No, its the critics who are wrong."
This is a great commentary. Thanks for posting it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Disney had better sue them then, and see how that works out for Disney, they seem to like losing money.
Disney pulled a Principal Skinner again.
😆 LOL 😆!
No... It's the youtubers who are wrong
Disney hyperventilating over the paradigm shift of the modern nerd.
The power of Will
The power of you
The power of Gaarryyyyyyy
Disney would even blame the casual person it sees in a mirror to deny it's their own fault.
Disney is right those two control my thoughts and actions about everything.
Me too. Go away now!
They must be using their Jedi mind tricks on us.
The blame-game started from our first parents in the Garden and Disney has continued it on such a grand scale. The falling away continues.
Only reason they haven't blamed Doomcock is because they cannot monetize him and his merch
They leave Doomcock alone because he can always push the button.
They did try to throw shade on him during the She Hulk series but he basically just laughed it off and took it as a compliment 😂
I'm pretty sure the baby seal had that clubbing coming.
Nerdrotic and the Critical Drinker are fabulous.
Disney is a mess and just can't cover their tracks anymore.
If you make garbage, don't be surprised if it stinks and everyone can smell it.
😆 LOL 😆!
Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker aren't the heroes we deserve... but the heroes we need!
I almost walked out of The Last Jedi and I hadn't heard of these two at that point.
I was laughing (audibly) at the end of Rise of Skywalker. I was trying to work out as if it was the exact same script as Episode VI or just the same plot.
@@paulscottrobson LOL as was I when I saw animals being ridden on the outside surface of a starship in the middle of a space/arial battle. Outrageous.
That’s crazy talk, Mauler does the 3 hour essays that tear them apart.
I’m always grateful for your perspective! possibly my favourite American sitcom of all time is “Frasier.” When I purchased the DVDs, it was the first time I had seen entire episodes intact without breaks, which made it much easier to appreciate the set up and nuances etc.
As for the mini cliffhangers, I am immediately reminded of Star Trek: tng when the camera would zoom in on Picard frowning while ominous music plays. Watching those episodes on DVD, the mini cliffhangers are kind of quaintly unnecessary. But during the original broadcast, they were very effective.
Thank you very much for the video! 🙏🎯😁
We are always happy to receive your angle at any dangle.
It's your fault too now I put you up there along with these guys. You're just as awesome in my view.
Disney is even blaming people who has never used/bought disneys monthly subscription service on Disney+.
You are correct. The broadcast audience does not watch YT. The broadcast audience is mostly Boomers watching their cop serials. I know, my parents are them. They love Blue Bloods.
Star Wars left their world when Disney decided to stop releasing films in theaters and put their new shows on streaming.
Yeah, it's a weird hybrid People who watch these interminable streaming shows full of sanctimonious tripe. Half boomer, half zoomer.
No such thing as bad press...more power to Nerdrotic and the Drinker
Profit center? There's not a profit anywhere! 😅
Yeah, how dare they explain the reason for our failure in a coherent and impactful way.
At this point, Disney needs the controversy to attract eyeballs. Hence the doubling-down on defence of the detritus.
Their flying monkeys can be loud, but they have no power over anyone.
Its amazing to consider that 2 guys who sit behind a camera in their homes and talk are the ones who took down this multi-million-billion-whatever $ movie studio. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im suddenly overwhelmed with sadness, thinking what disney used to be, and how they will maybe never go back to that quality. Love the jacket.
Yup, all this has achieved has been a marketing win for RUclips, a direct competitor to streaming platforms, and Drinker and Nerdrotic as content producers.
If Disney put The Acolyte on ABC then there would be concrete ratings numbers. Disney doesn't want that.
"FrontHolers!"...You are my Hero! PC eats itself!
Logic with the force of a sledgehammer applied with surgical precision , bravo Mr. Chato .Now if only 'they' would listen.
The UN will be writing a sternly worded letter to Critical drinker.
"And they would have gotten away with it too. If it weren't for those meddling people at Disney."
Imagine being a multi-billion dollar corporation and being forced to admit that you're being brought down by two random dudes on RUclips! 😂
THEY MUST BE GIVEN THE "BUD LIGHT" TREATMENT
They've come so far. Feels like just a few years ago they were "a tiny insignificant minority" that will be ignored.
The reason why private companies are burning cash with flop after flop… BlackRock covers the expenses 🏦
Paul Chato, loved you on Four On The Floor!
Wow an old fan.
@@CallMeChato Sad thing is Mr CanoeHead is far more gripping drama than the acolyte.

Wow, thank you!
The irony is that they actually believe they are making good Star Wars.
