Chills. Gives me chills watching this. From the day he was traded to the Raptors and his intro presser to the day the streets of Toronto were packed with millions celebrating the championship he lead them to; the whole journey was special, inspiring, unforgettable, like straight outta a movie.
Here I am, after seeing Kawhi eliminated on a different team, at the same round and game 7 situation that Raptors were in. You can only dream what could've been if he decided to stay and run it back with the same team. Maybe a repeat...? But shit, we'll never know now. I will always appreciate Kawhi Leonard for what he's done for this team, but he was just the final piece that allowed Raptors to push pass the Second Round ceiling; but in the end, Toronto was a great fit for him as well. We'll always have this Championship to remember, and there will never be a doubt the significance and impact one year with a fun man can do for a team. Only hope future success for both parties involved.
