A way past his prime Olympic medalist isn’t the same as an in prime fighter. Jorge linares and lomachenko beat him bad too beating someone towards the end of their career after they have a whole bunch of accolades is smart for building the hype and less of a risk than fighting someone currently relevant

Campbell was one of the best to never win a world title could have fought crolla and won a world title if he wanted instead went for the superstars and legacy over the easier option to become champ
When you drop a fighter you should not box around and watch him recover you should increase your offensive pressure and punch output to try to finish him off and get him out of there. Campbell showed us that he is just a mid level contender with no championship pedigree.

That shot was beautiful 7:38. Luke thought it was going up because Ryan was looking up, away from the real target. Ryan's left shoulder was also arcing upwards not dropping.
It’s the liver shot, almost every liver shot ends any fight, the pain in the liver shot is immense, Ryan have done many liver shots and all of them finished the fight
Lesson learned by Ryan, every young fighter needs a shock like this.

Campbell is solid but is still C+ class on average and B- at best. I knew Ryan was going to beat him. And this is just a prospect, buf this was a fitting test at the right time. A prospect who had his first great test and passed. Campbell has already lost to Loma and a C class guy amd another C+ guy in Linares. Linares lost to 4 differemt C class guys and got stopped by Cano in one round.
Campbell never beat a high level opponent. Ryan Garcia needs to fight Haney or Shakur next. Teo needs to fight Davis next. Its time for the names to face each other.
