The lovely tour guide did her best to put an interesting slant on the long and boring bus tour to no avail. It was long, boring and a drizzly misty day didn't help. This Cornish region has a past, interesting tin and copper mining history; and shop with caramels is the highlight. Please don't forget to Subscribe, Share and Like. Thanks. April 10, 2024
On a dry and sunny day, the excursion may have been more enjoyable? At least the fudge looked delicious! 🤣🤣👍. Thank you for the video.
I loved Falmouth. Was there in 1977 for a couple of days. Stayed a campground and was driving an ancient Bedford camper van on my journey around Great Britain. I loved the narrow streets and the small shops, particularly the nautical based shops that sold telescopes, binoculars etc. Loving your vids.
Now THAT would be fun, Morrie! Not just sitting on a bus driving through the cute town for hours on end. Thanks for the loving! And very best to you 💕
Were from the UK and you lucked out on weather. On a nice day that area is the most beautiful countryside you can imaging. keep up with the videos !
Hi Roderick: thanks for your time to view and comment. The countryside is very beautiful but riding around on a bus for 2 hours with only 1 stop was pretty boring! Thanks again and best to you. 😍
Too bad you didn’t have a nicer day! St Micheal’s Mount is beautiful on a good day. We took the boat over and walked back on the causeway.
I bet it is Kathy. It wasn’t the weather, just the fact that we primarily sat on a bus for the entire tour. Hope all is good with you and yours. 😍 Sheila
The tour guide could have been a bit more enthusiastic. Needless to say it looks like a lovely area, albeit on a nice day. Did you get to try the fudge? I love the Cornish pasty’s from this neck of the woods, shaped like empanadas and filled with mince, potatoes and veg. Delicious snack!
Do dogs do you know what in the woods? 😂 Of course I got to the fudge. Also love Cornish pasty’s! But never had room in the belly to eat one. Yum. 👍
Across the Channel from St. Michael's Mount is its French counterpart, Mont Saint Michel!
I visited Mont Saint Michel years ago, Claudia. 👍 How is everything going? Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day.
@@SheilaSimkin excellent! Making new friends. Hosted French red wine tasting last Sat. Met 8 friends at a good Thai restaurant. Steve has another procedure Monday. Thanks for asking, sending our best to you!
@@claudiahansen4938 Good luck! 👍
@@SheilaSimkin thank you, Sheila!
Happy Memorial Day. Don’t forget to check that bread. How is the port wine? Any recommendations?😊
It is OMG with the wine onboard and tastings. The port does grow on you 😂 but I still will not be buying any. Keep pouring the wine instead (which they do gladly). Warren, did you do the Douro?
Did they put on a production of “ The Pirates of Penzance”?😊”
😂 I have such witty viewers 😂 Wouldn’t that have been fun?
Pronounced Falmuth 😜
As in Al.
@@moderick Thanks to you and Sasha. Had absolutely no idea how to pronounce it. No “Falmuth” lessons on board Viking. 😂 @sashamellon822
