Enjoy breathtaking views of the coastline and harbor from the castle walls.
Falmouth boasts a thriving arts scene. Explore the numerous galleries showcasing contemporary art by local and international artists. Visit the Falmouth Art Gallery for a diverse collection of visual arts, or catch a performance at the innovative theaters and music venues.
While Falmouth itself offers a wealth of experiences, the surrounding area beckons further exploration:

Falmouth reminds me of Hastings Old Town. I lived in Hastings for over 20 years and that's full of creative art 🎨 shops etc. It seems like it needs some TLC and it's sad to see that old cinema 📽️ in such a state. Great video and it looks like a great town to visit. 👍👍👍

I'm from much further up north, but my folks ran the Quayside Inn for many years in the early 90s. Some fond memories :)

Great video as usual,it's a pity you didn't show the commando memorial on the Prince of Wales pier, those boys took part in arguably the most dangerous mission in WW2 and its a befitting tribute to the men who survived and died that night, really expected to see that as you walked all the way up and around the pier, maybe next time

Here are some more "fun" facts for you. Falmouth is actually one of the poorest towns in the southwest of the UK. If you look closely you can see the shabbiness of the main town and the fact that many buildings have been allowed to decay. This is in contrast to the eye watering holiday let rental prices for visitors who rent seaside properties. Few of the profits from these filter back into Falmouth because the owners live outside of the county. So Falmouth is a place of great wealth divide and like many seaside resorts in Cornwall it has become impossible for people who live there to afford a mortgage or long term rentals.

Falmouth is far too gentrified and wrecked by over tourism and students.
