Generational talent is an understatement! An artist full of greatness, walking the razors edge of genius and madness, who articulates the human condition and human suffering like the painters Van Gogh and Francis Bacon! As so many reactors have broke down and exclaimed the genre is REN! This is what they said about Picasso. This is what we say about REN! I’m so blessed his emergence has come while I’m alive. We all are. Very well said! I don’t really think a lot of ppl fully understand the talent that Ren has. And like I said, it’s even more amazing and touching that he can consistently give us these amazing masterpieces while not feeing the best himself. That’s truly a blessing ❤️❤️

Ren's said that he's not religious but enjoys employing religious, to illustrate his ideas. He doesn't just use Christian imagery either. He regularly employs Islamic and Buddhist imagery. Hindu too on a few occasions. :)
He uses Christian verbal iconography in a vast number of his songs. It’s part of his very essence whether voluntary or involuntary.

Wow! I loved your reaction and analysis!! You nailed several good points here. When you spoke about how Ren uses pauses, I always love that Ren takes his time, doesn’t rush a song. And you have good insight, he actually does know how to play drums. You have such a warm and down to earth mannerism. I’m subbing!

You're not mistaken, Ren is independent.
I feel the importance of that can't be understated when you consider the teams typically employed to put out new music for a label.
Ren does it all himself, from creation to production,mix/master (not to disparage his team of friends that contribute in various aspects) all whilst dealing with his severe health issues.
Quite inspiring, really.
I almost wondered if some of the record labels 💩 themselves a little when this guy posted a #1 album debut in the UK. 😂

Ren did sign to a small independent label called The Other Songs back at thw bwgining of 2023. But he retains all song ownership and last word on production and distribution.
He is still dealing with 5 days a week IV treatments. Takes 100 pills every day and can only eat 7 foods. Still has autoimmunity MCAS, POTS ,BRAIN AND ORGAN DAMAGE.
He has said I've been lost describes the last 10+ years of his life.
#1 All by word of mouth thru the internet n RUclips reactors perserved him to the top...The respect that he has for the youtube reactors n his internet fans from all ages, colors, races, religions, from around the world,etc...The love n respect that the youtube reactors n fans have for Ren is unparalleled n beautiful...

It’s the section of Screech’s tale when he stands up on the staircase in the beginning and walks to the wall. @@RetroQuinReacts thank you for acknowledging. I've been looking and you have quite a few videos done for Ren. I like your break downs. There are lots of original and cover songs from TBP. Not so much rap but lots of singing and harmonising. He also has earlier work from trick the fox and some solo stuff as well. A lot of the early stuff has similar messages about the world and the human condition. Some is just fun 😊
