Do you have a video on how to apply all of these ingredients? I’ve ordered the retinol, Vit C, buffet, glycolic & the hyaluronic acid & now the metrixyl 10% I don’t have them yet but which can I use at night, day & which cannot be layered Thanks
I was doing Tretinoin every other night alternating with Timeless Vitamin C. Then this week I went to Tretinoin every night and Timeless every morning. I want to add in the other serums, but worried about mixing and causing a reaction. Additional explanation on what is the best way to do this? I want to add Buffet and the other recommendations you have.
Just stumbled across your channel! I can’t wait to see more. Your skin is absolutely stunning. I’d love to see a video of how you use them (in action). I pretty much have all of these ingredients so I’d like to make sure I’m using in correct order.💕
Aw thank you so much and happy to hear you found my channel🥰 I have several skincare routines on my channel sharing these products as well as similar products ❤️
Miss Ash, I with my oily and acne prone skin, I tested all the vitamin C serums from skinceuticals and I like the Phloretin CF serum the most. It is fast absorbing, non-greasy and doesn’t stink as much as the CE Serum. So if you don’t like the CE from skinceuticals, try the Phloretin CF serum ❤️❤️❤️
From what I understand, copper peptides can be used after tretinoin if you wait 10 or so minutes. Some people's skin can handle that combination. Mine can't, so I use the copper buffet on nights when my skin is irritated from retinoid use
This video is perfect...almost! None of these ingredients will do wonders if you don't use sunscreen in the day. But ofc you know that! Just wanted to add it. :) Cheers!
Thank you! YES ABSOLUTELY! Sunscreen is the best anti-aging product but unfortunately if the fine lines and wrinkles are already there then these ingredients are perfect to minimize/diminish them 🙋🏼♀️ Happy Holidays ❤️
Thank you so much!! Use Vitamin C in the morning after cleansing Use retinol at night after serums and before moisturizer Use Acids after cleansing in the evening Use Peptides at night (you can use it with retinol) but not with vitamin c or acids..
This pairing could be too irritating/drying on the skin. It's not necessary but you know your skin best on what it can handle when it comes to retinols.
Aw thank you so much☺️ I have had a skincare routine since my high school days.. My mom got me started on a good skincare regimen since I was 14. I started using Vitamin C in 2018, Tretinoin in 2019 and I have been using peptides and acids since 2016.. I have been using an SPF religiously for 5-6 years.
hi! so for a while i’ve been using niacinamide + zinc 10% (the ordinary) with moisturiser but recently i got a few other ordinary products. one of my main goals is to reduce my under eye dark circles but also just to have good skin in general. i’m trying to revolve my routines around my dark circles though. i got Ascorbyl glycoside solution 12% (vitamine c) retinol 0.5% in squalane caffeine solution 5% (niacinamide + zinc) and my mum is wanting to include “buffet” in her routine although she’s unsure if it’s okay with those other products. is there a way to create a routine with these products?
Saying hi from Egypt beautiful 😍 I have a question please how can I use Glycolic acid with my current Adapline routine? I use Adapline 4 or 5 times per week and I’m thinking about starting using peeling 30% by the ordinary too So how can I use all of these stuff safely🙈 Love your videos by the way 😍❤️
Egypt? That is amazing ☺️ If you are using Adapalene 4-5 days a week then use the Glycolic Acid or the Peeling Solution 1-2 nights a week on the nights you don't use the Adapalene. If you pair these two types of products together in the same routine this combo could be harsh and irritating/drying on the skin.
I would love to use Retinol, but since I am breastfeeding, I cannot use it right now (I read a warning). I use Niancinamide, Buffet, lactic Acid from the ordinary and Glow recipe moisturizer and sleeping mask.
Thank you! Was really interesting. I have a question - why does my face shine after I put some serums on my face? Yesterday I cleansed my face twice. I put then on a couple of drops of buffet, then niacinamide serum, hyaluronic acid and on top the cerave PM face cream. What might be the cause of it? How can I avoid it?
It’s hydration being brought to the skin. Not a bad thing unless your face feels heavy or greasy. Then you may be using too much product. Are you naturally oily to begin with ? Are you double cleansing only once a day , at night only , that’s preferable because you don’t want to strip the moisture barrier. Apply your hyaluronic acid on damp skin after cleansing-less is more, then add your niacinamide , press each step into the skin & then add the Buffet, don’t use too much. You may not even need a hyaluronic acid serum , the buffet is hydrating & the niacinamide will balance . Moisturizer. Top with sunscreen or a moisturizing sunscreen .
Hi Ash. Thank you for your videos. They are always so good. However, something confuse me a lot. Is the Buffet and Vitamin C serum. I understand you can’t use them in the same routine. How do manage using both each day? I would like to use both. But worries me to cancel out the effect. Do you have any recommendations please. Thank you.
Yes! Please review the Skinceuticals vitamin C 😊 We finally have a Skinceutical flagship store in SK, and I’ve been really curious about the vitamin C. The price though 😣 I love tretinoin and I also use everything else though lol. I love skincare too much. Merry Christmas to you and yours 💕💜👍
I know! The price is hefty BUT it is the gold standard Vitamin C😍 I will definitely review it in a few months!! Love that you are using all of these ingredients 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ Thank you and Merry Christmas to you as well ❤️
Vitamin C in the A.M. and the remainder are used in the P.M. Of course I don't use all of the evening products together but I alternate my nights or use some occasionally.
I did my own DIY for crepey skin under my eyes that freaked me out. I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw it in the mirror and almost fell over. I will soon be 53 so I am not sure if there is hope. I did get results from what I made though. Beginners luck?
Well hey whatever works I encourage you to keep doing what you are doing but when it comes to retinols/retinoids and anti-aging products mentioned in this video these do take time to work and you still do have hope especially with using a prescription retin-a.
Hello Miss Ash, So I watch u for a month now and u already answered one of my questions and so helped me one time with my skin but now I need ur help again... I hope I don’t bother u or something, I just hope u can give me a good advise. It’s about my Cleanser that I use. I normally have dry skin, so I thought I can get the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. After I used it for 1-2 month my skin got very patchy and oily at some spots and I think that my fungal Acne got worse because of it although I got dry skin. Now my budget is just big enough to buy one of CeraVe that is also the only good option I can get in my town right now. So my question is do u think that when I use the SA for bumpy skin cleanser from CeraVe that my skin will get better and the oiliness will get away? U would help me sooooo much with answering this question. Thank u already and I hope u have a great day. 😊😊😊💖
For price & effective ingredients, I recommend a few , but my current fave for your condition, just to get your skin back in balance is -The Inkey List Fulvic Acid brightening cleanser. It’s only approximately $13 CAD ,available online at Sephora both in the US & Canada, they currently have free shipping too.
Thank you very much for the video. I use all the products you mentioned except the vitamin c. For some reason It always breaks me out and I've tried a lot of them🤦 Happy Holidays Ashley 🌲🤗
Fellow Canadian here 👋 - wondering if it was easy enough for you to get a prescription for tretanoin? Did your general practitioner provide the Rx or a dermatologist? Thanks for such a great video!!
Hey there!! My Dermatologist prescribed it to me and it wasn't hard to get either. I told him I had some mild acne and wanted something for anti-aging and he prescribed it with no issues.. I am sure your family doctor could prescribe it as well.
It’s easy to get from a GP or even a clinic if you don’t have a regular physician or dermatologist. Ask for generic , like Stieva-A if you want to save a few dollars. Fellow Canadian here who uses Tretinoin religiously.
If the product is formulated with both a vitamin c and a retinol then yes it's ok to use but I wouldn't suggest using that product in the same routine as Tretinoin as this combo could be too harsh but you know your skin best and what it can handle.
The ordinary ammino acid is this a good one? It was recommended by the customer service at the ordinary. Not sure my skin is tolerating it well. I just started and Only use 2 drops.
The Amino Acids + B5 is one of my favourite products from the Ordinary so yes it's a good one lol! It's a hydrator so if you have been experiencing dryness or tightness in the skin it's a good product to incorporate in your morning and night routine..
Here’s one for the expert 😉: have you tried / looked into Dr Brenner Vit C serum? I hear is the closest as formulation to SkinCeuticals 🤔I am slowly running out of my Timeless and is very often out of stock on the UK website. Just looking into options at similar in price range ☺️
I have not to be honest but you are always recommending me products which I appreciate so much🥰 I will definitely check this product out especially since it's in the same price range!!
I wonder what it is about the skin ceutical vit c serum that people go wild for, other brands like dr. Brenner and timeless have virtually same ingrediants yet people seem to go crazy about skin ceutical brand. Is there really a big difference in its effectiveness that makes it worth $166.00?
Are you applying the Hyaluronic Acid to damp skin and applying moisturizer on top right after to seal in that hydration? It's very important that you apply it to damp skin and don't let your skin dry up before applying moisturizer.
@@SincerelyMissAsh yes I’ve tried that too. And your right that’s the way to do it. But I personally think 🤔 in involves too many steps to get temporary and superficial hydration. I think glycerin, peptides and squaline do a better job . Big hug 🤗
Hi Ash! Great video :) I really enjoyed it, and took many notes along the way. Can you please demonstrate a proper way to prep the skin before applying all the skincare ingredients to make sure we're getting the full benefits. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year! :D
Can I use the Timeless Vitamin C with The Ordinary Buffet serum? How about the Buffet + Copper Peptides serum? I want to purchase this vitamin C but it seems like there are many things we shouldn’t be using together. Thank you.
I would personally keep your peptides separate from any vitamin c same with the buffet + copper peptides. I would use your Vitamin C in the mornings and your peptides at night 😉
What do you think about using retinol with rose hip oil together? I purchased the retinol 0. 2% granactive emulsion & the rosehip seed oil from the ordinary and been using both.
Hey can I use Cerave foaming cleanser then niacinamide then hyaluronic acid then the natural moisturizing factors. This is for am btw and then for the pm can i use the same steps except for the last step i use the 100% plant derived squalene
I wish you’d mentioned the most important product for skin health on a short & long term basis. Best anti-ager, anti-cancer, most studied & encouraged by Dermatology - SUNSCREEN daily & reapplication if in the sun. 🌞🧴 All of your sturdy recommendations are moot without broad spectrum protection. Just a friendly reminder, especially to those newbies watching and applying retinols, vitamin C , chemical exfoliating acids, all exposing their delicate skin barrier to UVA & UVB , etc...which can cause a myriad of damaging problems that would be totally preventable with proper sun protection. Including hats, clothing & proper eye protection. Undoing sun damage is much, much harder & more costly than preventing it. Hope you don’t mind me voicing my concern, so many impressionable people watching you without much product knowledge and this needs to be mentioned always. Thanks for listening, Miss Ash. Take care. 😃
Neutrogena deep clean foaming face wash twice a day The ordinary niacinamide serum every morning The ordinary lactic acid serum every night Cosrx snail essence twice a day Cosrx birch sap moisturizer twice a day The ordinary aha bha exfoliator serum once a week Nivea lip balm or vaseline petroleum jelly for lips Face halo Medical pharmacy cotton Bobbi brown makeup Wet n wild makeup Maybelline creme matte and powder matte lipsticks Wet n wild highshine lipstick collection Maybelline made for all lipstick collection Maybelline brick lipstick collection 😍 ✨ Love to know your thoughts on my skincare
I did a big no no to my face. And I need to share so no one else does what I did. I used the Cacay oil on my face for one week. at first my skin looked amazing. I was putting on around 4 or 5 drops day and night. Then one evening I used my derma roller and then put on that cacay oil which is suppose to be a natural retinol. Well my skin burned like crazy. I am super upset. Fine lines around my eyes became pronounced and deep. I got a huge blister by my mouth. I couldn't even handle water on my skin. had to stop all my skin products and find really gentle hydrating skin care. its been around 3 weeks now and the lines are still there. I am hoping they will diminish. I burnt my skin way down deep. it dried the heck out of it. I Pray this is reversible. I've been told it will calm down when my skin returns to being hydrated. The burning is mostly gone but skin still feels dry no matter what I use. and the lines are which scares me. So I share this in hoping no one else will do what I did. hard lesson learned.
Thank you for sharing your story... I am sure you are probably already doing this but don't use any actives in your routine until your skin goes back to normal... The Eucerin Calming cream is a life saver for irritated dry skin. I had a bad experience once and this cream healed it completely... I did a video on this cream if you want to watch it ruclips.net/video/RoMGBZotgQQ/видео.html but it's a great cream to have on hand. There is oatmeal in it which is very calming to the skin..
I am very curious about your Skinceuticals review! My esthetician is always pressuring me to buy some-but it’s just so expensive I can’t stomach it! I’ve tried the samples and didn’t notice any difference from Timeless besides the terrible smell. Like you, I have a few routines I rotate thru depending on how my skin is behaving, so I can’t justify getting used to products that are $185 each! 😂
I know! It is pricey which is why I can't wait to try the full size to see if I notice any difference but it is the gold standard vitamin c that is backed up by science... Review coming soon lol🙋🏼♀️
I’m sorry but I have to disagree with all of those products preventing fine lines and wrinkles, unless you have great genes, I’ve been using and trying most to all of those products mentioned and nothing has worked to reduce my fine lines and wrinkles over the years, I’m 60+ years old and I’ve been using Tretinoin 0.05% for years and have never peeled from it, the only thing on the market to get rid of those pesky lines and wrinkles is Botox, nothing compares to that, I’ve also got age spots from years of being a Sun ☀️ lover living in a country that is mainly warm throughout the year here in Australia 🇦🇺, in the new year I’m going to look into treatment to remove my age spots because the amount of money I’ve spent on skincare over the years I could of had it removed permanently, creams and potions will only go so deep as you age, The Ordinary products did absolutely nothing for me, I might as well have just put water on my face, I’m wondering if you’ve had Botox in your forehead, because when you lift your brows, there’s No movement in that area......the only thing that I’d suggest to a younger self is to use Sunscreen Sunscreen Sunscreen when I was growing up in the 60’s but it wasn’t such a thing back then. No body has flawless skin, your just wasting your money 💰, my Mum is 85 years old and has never used skincare or makeup her whole life and doesn’t look her age, except for having health issues. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄❤️❤️
I understand. Everyone has their own opinions and experiences when it comes to products and ingredients. I agree, botox is a great quick fix for the pesky fine lines and wrinkles but for those that don't want to go that route, these ingredients are great to use. I have never had botox before. I am not against it by any means but at the moment I don't feel like I need it. The ingredients that I mentioned are the ones that I have been using for a while which I believe has improved my skin with time. Sunscreen is definitely the gold standard product for wrinkle prevention and I can't stress that enough and you're right, no one has perfect skin... Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you as well ❤️🥰
I see your points. I am 60 and never used anything til 4 years ago.. I don't look bad at all and do not have good genes. But, I found that when I started a good skincare routine it seemed to "preserve" what I have left. And my skin feels amazing so I picture myself with less wrinkles than I have. Her recommendations are spot on only I don't use The Ordinary much. I prefer creams. Happy Holidays!
@@SincerelyMissAsh I understand about the ingredients in products, but at my age I need more medical grade skincare than what The Ordinary can offer me, if I was your age then Yes it would definitely work but going back in time there wasn’t much on the market like there is now and Social Media wasn’t around either having influencers recommending products like there is now, also young girls trying to be like people they see on Social Media when a lot of influencers will use filters to make them look like they have that flawless skin that they all want, I’m Not saying that You use a filter but I see so many that do....especially on Instagram. ❤️😊
@@traceytrotter9934 my comment was more directed at the brand of products mentioned, Good skincare is key to looking our best in our second half I agree, but it doesn’t make those wrinkles or elevens disappear completely, creams will soften the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines But like I said nothing at our age will make them go away other than Botox and I’m not ashamed to say that I have it twice a year to give me that fresh look to my face, there’s no way that I look 60+ if you saw me, my eldest is 41 years old and his friends don’t believe I’m his Mum..Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎄 from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Let's just be honest here...The reason you don't have wrinkle has nothing to do with products you mentioned. BOTOX helps the wrinkles on you're face. You can't hardly moved your forehead and looks so tight and shiny (not in a good way).
You’re entitled to your own opinion but I have never had Botox before and if I have I really don’t have a problem saying it in my videos... I am always honest and transparent and I actually like the way my skin looks. ☺️
Let's DO again Morning routine and night routine with these new products.
Great recommendations! You’ve mentioned all my favorites: tretinoin, copper peptides, vitamin C and glycolic acid 😊
Ah I love it!! 🥰🥰
Happy Holidays!
Sincerely Miss Ash thanks for your advices)) they are always so helpful 😍
Happy to hear that ☺️

Use retinol at night after serums and before moisturizer
Use Acids after cleansing in the evening
Use Peptides at night (you can use it with retinol) but not with vitamin c or acids..

This pairing could be too irritating/drying on the skin. It's not necessary but you know your skin best on what it can handle when it comes to retinols.

@@SincerelyMissAsh thank u so much!!!!!!!!💜💜
Can you put the names of all these products on a list? So it's easier to buy along with links?
Hi there! I have everything listed and linked in my description box of every video☺️
Great video ! Hyaluronic acid does NOTHING for my skin. Does the oposite . Makes it feel tighter and dryer .
Big hug 🤗
I totally get it lol.. Glycerin and Squalane ARE AMAZING for hydration🥰
@@SincerelyMissAsh thank you.
I hav combination asian skin, im on my 60s, can i use this?
Yes! You can definitely use these products/ingredients ☺️
What do you think about using retinol with rose hip oil together? I purchased the retinol 0. 2% granactive emulsion & the rosehip seed oil from the ordinary and been using both.
I think this combo would be great🥰 Make sure to apply the Retinol first then the oil afterwards ☺️
Question: do i hav to use all of this or i wil just choose which one is suitable for my skin. I hav combi asian skin, mature skin, on my 60s.
You can use all of these (different routines) but It really is up to you and what you want to use..
@@SincerelyMissAsh when can i use the ordinary hyaluronic acid?
You can use it morning and/or night after cleansing and before heavier creams and oils..
Could I ask you where you get your tretinoin from in Canada?
Sure! I get it prescribed by my dermatologist and then of course get it filled by my local pharmacy..
Hey can I use Cerave foaming cleanser then niacinamide then hyaluronic acid then the natural moisturizing factors. This is for am btw and then for the pm can i use the same steps except for the last step i use the 100% plant derived squalene
Hi! Yes this sounds perfect!! I would apply the HA before niacinamide but it honestly doesn’t matter too much..
Apply the HA on damp skin always. Great routine just don’t forget your spf during the day. 😉
How much was the prescription one?
I get it covered through my health insurance so I am not sure how much it is.
HA before or after retinol or vit C?
If it's a serum Vitamin C I would apply it first then HA but if you are using a cream based Vitamin C then use HA first..
Can you review Laroshe Posay Retinol with B3?
I will put it on the list ☺️
I wish you’d mentioned the most important product for skin health on a short & long term basis. Best anti-ager, anti-cancer, most studied & encouraged by Dermatology -
SUNSCREEN daily & reapplication if in the sun. 🌞🧴
All of your sturdy recommendations are moot without broad spectrum protection.
Take care. 😃

Love to know your thoughts on my skincare
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thank you kindly.
As always beautiful and savvy on beauty.

👍👍👍🙏
Let's just be honest here...The reason you don't have wrinkle has nothing to do with products you mentioned. BOTOX helps the wrinkles on you're face. You can't hardly moved your forehead and looks so tight and shiny (not in a good way).
You’re entitled to your own opinion but I have never had Botox before and if I have I really don’t have a problem saying it in my videos... I am always honest and transparent and I actually like the way my skin looks. ☺️
@@SincerelyMissAsh Your skin looks great Miss Ash! It's dewy, healthy and glowing. It does NOT look like you had botox.
@@gabrielacortez4893 Thank you so much Gabriela. You are so kind 😘
