(Former drake fan), dont hate him / old drake music still has sentimental value, but lost respect & can no longer view him as a rap goat prior to this battle. Post battle, same, but lost respect in his character
Honestly that the shift happened so quickly should speak for itself. Drake has had controversies and articles written on his questionable behavior in the past. A good example being how Drake tried to screw over Sophie Brussaux and smear her in media with his crew. Truthfully at this point this feels like that payoff to the buildup.
Crazy part is UMG is taking hit songs off their other signed artist albums and giving them to Drake to remake. I've heard this from multiple sources, and their going to force Drake to have a hit song soon to help rebuild his brand
your opinion on a billionaire, #1 artist, and a incredibly versatile musician does not matter. He can’t be washed if he has plenty of platinum tracks and albums after his so called peak album “Take Care” get a life u losers.
Fewer and fewer rappers standing behind him, not less and less. If you can count them, it's fewer. If it's an amount, it's less. You have less money. You make fewer dollars.
People always take the quote The Weeknd said years ago about him giving half of his album to Drake for Take Care. I’ve always thought this might have been taken out of context a bit. If you look at the credits of TC, half the album isn’t credited to The Weeknd just four or five songs, but what was more important to Drake was learning how The Weeknd made a moody atmospheric album and that’s what he really wanted Abel to give his approval for. Abel may only be credited for a few songs but that whole album only happens because of Abel’s influence.
Your right but Drake already had that atmosphere With 40 on so far gone, I think it just went deeper because of Abel’s touch. But even without him they still were able to make quality projects like NWTS And if your reading this

Beyonce's downfall would be well documented as well. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Not saying you are, but I notice logic goes out the window with Drake stans.
The problem with using ghost writers is, sure you can write a decent song ten times as fast, but you'll still never be able to imitate the kind of lyrical genius that people like Kendrick or Eminem are capable of. It's a fine, proven strategy for achieving commercial success, and pumping out a high volume of music that sells, but it still won't save you in a rap beef where the fans are going to be actively dissecting every word and paying extra attention to the substance of what's being said. It's easy to make the mistake of conflating popularity with talent 1:1, and while Drake is certainly talented, a less fragile ego would have realized that being the most popular and being the most talented aren't always the same thing. Genius is transcendent. It's not a simple function of talent multiplied by time and effort. Ten decently talented fantasy authors sharing the workload can't make Fellowship of the Ring, or Storm of Swords. Ten decently talented chess players voting on moves can't beat a grandmaster. Ten decently talented classical musicians working together can't make Moonlight Sonata or Requiem, and ten decently talented rappers collaborating on the same diss track can't make Meet the Grahams. Productivity isn't enough. You have to see the wind bending as it blows the leaves, you have to notice things that other people can't, and as much as I generally dislike Drake I actually sympathize with the yearning for that validation that all the popularity in the world will fall just short of giving you, and the obvious insecurity that comes with it. The validation that comes from the rest of the top 20 saying you're the best, not just the largest number of fans. His commercial success put him on top of the world. He reached for the sun and the wax melted off his wings. Hopefully he learns from it.

What’s funny is a “breath of fresh air” is how we felt about Little Brother, Phonte being an important breeze of said air. Drake early on admittedly took Phonte’s style and writing approach, his signing to Young Money allowed him a bigger stage to display it. Drake began his career doing the very thing he’s doing, taking on personas that was never his.
Drake is pretty much Brainiac. He collects all the data of an artist while working with them. In the immediate aftermath, they get exposure and money and everything else. But in the long run, Drake gets another hit album and will continue the cycle while the artist in question gets forgotten in the years to come because Drake didn’t put them on. Brainiac collects data and info from the planets he visits and sees them to the peak of their knowledge and then he destroys them and leaves for the next planet.
🎵Asap Rocky has done the similar thing as Kendrick, in a different way. 🎶 He works with up and coming rappers, not just to profit off them but to truly work with talented artists. His song *1 train* was a song that showcased such a diverse range of different rappers. Asap Rocky let everyone shine on that song, including Kendrick Lamar and Joey Badass. 🎵 Asap Rocky took a homeless talented artist off the street and let him feature 5 times on his album. His name is Joe Fox. Rocky was doing the Yams day festival every year and letting up and coming and superstar rappers share the same stage to celebrate the life of his mentor and friend Asap Yams. Asap Rocky hardly ever does mainstream music, he has 1 or 2 mainstream songs and never does club bangers. But he has a huge cult following and sells out festivals. Drake saw that Rocky was getting respect and was doing something different, so he wanted to work with him.

I do hate Aubrey Graham.

I hate him as a person, but I'm separating the art from the artist (former Drake fan)
(Former drake fan), dont hate him / old drake music still has sentimental value, but lost respect & can no longer view him as a rap goat prior to this battle. Post battle, same, but lost respect in his character
@@NovikNikolovicthat does not work, it’s just hypocritical.

Yea... the pattern makes it clear: he's the problem.
Drake started believing his own bullshit.
Drake’s identity is actually no identity.
Real Jew behavior

Crazy part is UMG is taking hit songs off their other signed artist albums and giving them to Drake to remake. I've heard this from multiple sources, and their going to force Drake to have a hit song soon to help rebuild his brand

@@Aubreysangel666you being here listening makes drake look really bad 😂 please ASK ME WHY ???
But even without him they still were able to make quality projects like NWTS And if your reading this
@@romaretaylor9953 Abel did say that his sound was drakes sound just darker… even so, he made a new wave and Drake needed to get in that. Everything up till Views has been good then it gets rocky for me after that.

D.R.A.K.E. - Don't Rap Against Kendrick Ever.
👇
Kendrick Lamar did what no other rapper could about Drake
I feel like it’s telling how *NONE* of Drake’s Young Money labelmates (that he had ties with for a decade and a half plus at this point) bothered co-signed him or even defended him this whole beef.
What label mates?
Good to see Kendrick get more and more love as time goes on, he just gets bigger. He's been such a breath of fresh air in mainstream hip-hop for a long time.
Correction: Scorpion had a wop-wop-wop-wop-whopping 25 tracks.
Drake stopped looking at music like art and started viewing it as business.

These RUclipsrs are definitely eating good off of Drake fr...
Someone should make a video on how Drake, the beef, and Drake further stimulated the online community & content creators' views, monetization, etc
Beyonce's downfall would be well documented as well. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Not saying you are, but I notice logic goes out the window with Drake stans.
As a Canadian, I never digged Drake's music
He is literally a 🎤 vampire.
More like Kendrick Lamar is a 🎤 vampire. He's the one that's sucking the life out of Drake. 😂
This is quite possibly the best comment I've ever read on a RUclips video. 🙌
We’re at a point where we can get rid of Drake and bring back hip hop. Never thought it could get to this point.
Whatever that means to you, but it means going backwards and almost nobody needs to move backwards.
@@user-rg4tp3qz2ddrake is literally from canada and grew up in a rich ass neighborhood so he already isnt born into hip hop but even then he still makes pop shit and he only sometimes raps
The problem with Drake is he really wants you to believe he's hard when really he's just from Canada.
He's from a rich white neighborhood in Canada- not the hood.
Drake really thought if he acted gangster long enough he would turn into one 😂 tail tucked and ran after the first shot 💥
Brilliant & true analysis 👏 👏

This won’t affect your life at all I promise
Kendrick was the only one to call Drake out on his colonizing, and people listened, like WOW that is true LoL 😂😂
🎵Asap Rocky has done the similar thing as Kendrick, in a different way. 🎶
He works with up and coming rappers, not just to profit off them but to truly work with talented artists. His song *1 train* was a song that showcased such a diverse range of different rappers. Asap Rocky let everyone shine on that song, including Kendrick Lamar and Joey Badass. 🎵
Asap Rocky took a homeless talented artist off the street and let him feature 5 times on his album.
This was a well-done video, I've never liked drake I couldn't reconcille Degrassi to hip hop, he's never been authentic and of course once you see him privately say "its ignorant" it shows his genuine disdain.
Instead of throwing hate at Drake day by day, you should spread positivity and praise rappers you like.
