Pure Gold. Now we have Romesh Ranganathen and Nish Kumar to entertain us. They're about as funny as a fire in a pet shop.

Me and the wife went to see Billy in Blackpool one year, and he was the funniest comic ever!! He had everyone in absolute stitches from start to finish!! When we came out our faces and stomachs hurt like hell from all the laughter!! And not one swear word in the whole act! We've seen other comics like ken dodd and Lee evens, and although they were good, Billy was the funniest! Thanks Billy! 👍

A great entertainer from the 80's & 90's who, unless you live in the north we don't get to see anymore, always a good laugh though!!

I have spent many, many, great nights laughing at Billy when he was packing the out the working men's club circuit. He would stay on and make us laugh until the chairman closed the curtain on him. Thanks Billy.

When we all became 'PC' we skipped a generation of great comics. The Ben Elton era quite rightly scrubbed your Manning, your Davidson etc out, but then there were Music Hall professionals who didn't rely on the blue, the racist, the foul mouthed. I saw good old Billy with Paul Elliot and Faye Tozer last week in Bradford panto and it was EXCELLENT.

Whatever you do, DON'T watch this with the subtitles on.
