Honestly this channel is phenomenal, aesthetic and cool, Mat Is also pretty talented, bocchi the rock is a gem of this anime season, and it's like a cherry on the cake with Mat's cover.
I liked K-On very much. But about 6-7 years later rewatching K-On, I dropped it and didn't know how i managed to watch it till the end at the first time. So it's easy, I was younger and it was funny, so I watched it. But the second time I realize, it's about less than 10% music and 90% cute girls do cute stuff without deeper things. But honestly, Bocchi isn't that flat content. Watching Bocchi managing her talented life is way deeper. Maybe it's because I can identify (at least many situations) with her a lot and feel that pain. I don't know if it should be funny, but for me: it's not. The scene where she stare at the door and agonize herself because she cannot go in looks like such a stupid thing but the feeling you get with social anxiety at just these simple situations is very hard. I had a lot of this situations. Learning guitar to get more self esteem is the other thing. Getting better and better, playing metal and doing cool cover, but if I had to play with audience (even if it's just a familiar person) I'm sucking. tl;dr: Bocchi is not a successor to K-On, it's much times better than that and if you look deeper, all of her situations are fucking real and I can say that because there was many doors in my life I didn't can go in because of anxiety.

I like what you did with the track. I loved that main melody with the chorus on it more than I thought I would. If this anime came out back when I was in highschool, we would have covered every single one of their songs. Back then, we covered anime OPs like Asian Kung-Fu Generation songs. It just sounds so fun. And honestly, I kinda envy the highschool kids today because they already have Bocchi The Rock at their age.
