I’ve had my Jeep a 2014 summit break hard … glazed and after a while of drive also have to push more throttle I didn’t have time so the shop it went they said nothing wrong I get it back knowing differently we’ll go figure had the same break shake the front calipers (new) mind you were dragging 9:21 hence the hot brakes
I would have hit the air lift and check it to be sure it’s not a problem with system as when in full lift you aren’t allowed to go over 35- 62 mph It would explained lost of power up hill if the governor system was failing. Seems ok but test drive in lift and out several times.👍🏻 The ASCM also effects braking
My RAM 1500 says air suspension disabled, cooling down. This is even if I disconnect the battery overnight. I wonder if I have the same issue. Dealer wants $4800 to replace pump and block.
If the pump runs for awhile and then displays that message. It almost sounds like it could have a leak and just running too long. That doesn't rule out the pump though unfortunately. I know they are expensive but $4,800. Wow. I haven't priced one out recently, but sounds kinda high. Thanks for watching!!
@@paycheckmonster yeah, if it's disconnected overnight, it shouldn't be overheated immediately as soon as you plug it in. If I bypass the relay, it clicks and jumps so it's jammed or burnt out or something. Since it will hold air when it's on off-road too and I disabled the suspension, I suspect that the lines and the air bags are fine. I'm going to take the chance and order the rebuild kit from RMT which includes the pump and the distribution block. I can then just worry about getting it filled with nitrogen. Fingers crossed. Lol
@@JS-iu5nc I ended up buying the MX Plus OBD2 reader plus alpha ODB. It told me there was a short in the temperature sensor. Order the new one from RMT manufacturing and it took less than an hour to put in and it was back up and running. $110 for the reader, $50 for the software, $40 for the sensor. All fixed. I did end up ordering a remanufactured pump from RMT, which unfortunately I did not need and they never got back to me about returning it.
After replacing air suspension compressor, about 30 mins later I got this code C15A0-13 “ Air suspension reverse valve 2 control circuit open”. Please help. Everything is connected, fuses are ok. The code instantly comes on when erased.
@@paycheckmonster compressor was purchased separately. I replaced compressor because the Jeep was stuck in the off road position. It wouldn’t go down. After replacing the compressor, everything work for about one hour. It would go down and up without issues. And then randomly I got this message about circuit open.
I have a terrible situation. I replaced the compressor and the shock absorber, now it asks me to reprogram the height. What is the measurement that I should put at the back and front? Someone told me that I should program 80mm at the front and 50mm at the back but I have read that this is a serious mistake because each side of the four is different and causes problems, I no longer know what to do. I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and I only replaced the shock absorber and the compressor and I have been stranded for 2 months now, I was even on the verge of losing my job due to lack of transportation, I need help please, please. I have the Alfaobd app to work on the problem. HELP PLEASE, I NEED HELP.
So it came in low and would not raise because the compressor won't run with that code. It thinks the compressor is overheating and disables it to prevent damage. Thanks for watching!
I got into a fender bender in my 15 and it cost me like 5k to replace a controller module and senor in the front bumper for the parking sensors and the shop wasn’t even aware that it was broken. They thought it was just the sensor

If you in full lift you are not limited on speed it will just go back to normal mode

In the engine bay, above the air strut, is an air line that goes into a brass fitting. The brass fittings commonly leak.

Did the compressor come with the new valve block assembly?? Why was the compressor replaced. What was the original concern??

Hello What is the name of the part You just replace it I have the same problem In my car Thank you
It's the compressor temp sensor. Thanks for watching!!
Hi, did it lower and raise before sensor was replace?
So it came in low and would not raise because the compressor won't run with that code. It thinks the compressor is overheating and disables it to prevent damage. Thanks for watching!
Probably has hill start turned on
Where in Minnesota are you located ?

If bumpers are designed to "bump", why put sensitive component behind them that can get damaged when they get bumped?

Bumpers going bump don't usually result in headlight replacement.
