the battle factory was my favorite part of gen 3 games growing up and I still love them, specifically the rent a pokemon ones. The idea of using pokemon youd otherwise never use for temporary battles is amazing and can lead to people discovering new favs. Its why I loved legends arceus pokedex so much, it encourages the player to use all the different pokemon they catch, that made me love cherrim and lumineon so much more than I did. I never expect the BF/factories to return to pokemon for whatever reason but by god I hope they reconsider it.
Im glad you liked Seraphure! With it you've actually seen all the mons i made for the game (was a bit scared bc its signature move, Purification, is kinda bugged on the current version of the game), by the way, there is a hidden mechanic in the game called pallete swapping, in which mons have multiple color palletes that are slightly altered from the original pallete, and will use one of those palletes at random every time you find a non-shiny version of the mon. and abt why did rusalvoir not use gastro acid against astigmoray, the spdef drop effect makes it so that ice lens makes it inmune to the entire attack. and abt recycle not giving ur item back, that should be a bug
i forgot to add that you should step out of the entrance to the battle factory section, bc when you do, you should recieve every single item in the game, and some new types are gonna be added, with 1 mon for each type (with a section on the left side that explains the type matchups of each of the types)
Honestly this game makes me miss the battle factory. Was always my favourite battle facility back then. Hope in gen 10 we get more than just the usual tower again.
NGL, I was confused by this comment at first, 'cause I was like "What does this thing have to do with coral?" And then I remembered, "Oh yeah, _coral_ snakes!" 😅
this game definitely feels like it wouldve benefitted from either documentation of all the changes or just a 'vanilla' version with normal mechanics and the new mons
it’s a bit of effort, but the one NPC in the first video did say that all pokémon’s moves and held items are the same so you could just keep a list of every pokémon’s type, moves and held items and know how to counter them
18:46 Charlie Brown moment. I felt this. 😂 Seriously, though, I'd trade Aurorus for Frozforce as the official canon Ice-Rock fossil. This thing's so cool. "Iceratops" would've been such a based name for it, though. =P I really do like how so many of the new moves or move changes seem more in line with how their type *should* generally operate, from a game mechanic perspective. Like, for example, Attack Order and Heal Order have these passive things going on like infestation or a second turn of chip healing; and yeah, I feel like that's kinda how the Bug type should operate: this minor passive stuff going on during the battle. It's almost like you've got this passive real-time strategy stuff going on during this turn-based battle, and that's how I've always kind of imagined the Bug type should operate in general-like an irritating colony of bugs. And then you've got this demonstration of how the Poison type should work in Caustic Finale + Venom Drain. You have these poison combos that become so much more potent from weakening and/or poisoning the enemy. And Venom Gale works in tandem with La Roc's ability and double-boosts your Poison Fang next turn. It's like what Venoshock and Venom Drench were trying to accomplish in the first place, but somehow this seems much more effective. It demonstrates the use of poison weakening the enemy so you can follow it up with a deadly finisher. Grass works like an actual garden: it seems to be focused on spending some time developing your side of the field, doing some small passive acts here and there, and then getting to reap the rewards from it. Shelebrate and Fertile Frolic, for example. Yeah, it's just Grass Power Trip, but you benefit from building up defenses, taking some lumps, so you can clap back with a superboosted Frolic. You want Brevato to take a hit so you can fire off Grassy Terrain and Leech Seed in one turn and double heal for your side of the field. This is brilliant, and I don't even know if it was intentional. But this is really how types should work in the games-like the mana affiliations in Magic: The Gathering, where each "element" has its own unique gameplay behavior.
It's unfortunate this isn't its own game, with that amount of cool redesigns having a whole ass story to play with them and figure out how to get them would be so fun
Mr. Callum sir, just spam Ember Snow on Rickshawty, also Lucky Chant, Safeguard and Mist has more than one effect. Also try finding mons that pair well with each other
All of these mons has potencial to be canon actually Even if part of them doesn't have "pokemon look" then would be accepted if they land in canon games
Ngl the Rusalvoir could easily work as a regional form for Ralts in a Caribbean region since it just gives off Siren vibes
Rusalka are basically Russian mermaids
Glad to see you like Bloomwile! Means you've now seen all 3 of my mons (Bloomwile, smaugron, and stallnary!)

I mean, technically they did in SW/SH with Dynamax Adventures, right?

You've now seen all three of my guys (Luxstrobe, Starror, and Miscaladrius)! :D

It would be awesome if this game had a way to show you types of pokemon you registered in your dex
I just loved that La Roc follows the pattern of Ekans and Arbok... La Roc backwards is Coral...
Just typed out this exact comment, then saw it was already posted lol.

Since all the mons have the same movesets i would argue you could build your own documentation as you play, it seems like a fun thing to do
22:08 "Shellter" nice pun

Btw fhe reason some mons look shiny but arent is due toba random palate shifter feature. Kinda like how nicknames worked in stadium 1 and 2

You can expect many more "combos" in pisces btw

Take a shot every time coorse shows up in this series (dont actually youll probably get sick 😭)
All the new moves are so cool and useful though like I want them in the main games plus like frostbite makes so much sense
you should go back to the lobby, theres new stuff there now that youve done a bunch of battles
I wonder if the developers actually use these mons in a future romhack plus more
wonder if this is like a proof of concept for the next big hack they're working on, because some of these mons are so cool and fun to use
it is ;P
kinda
Love seeing new callum vids
Mr. Callum sir, just spam Ember Snow on Rickshawty, also Lucky Chant, Safeguard and Mist has more than one effect. Also try finding mons that pair well with each other
I feel that rickshawty and Chemoboar like eachothers prescience quite a bit
For the first time...I FINISHED THE GAME!!! WITH NO LEGENDARIES!! And with ONLY MY MEGA LOPUNNY WITH ONLY TWI EGG MOVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of these mons has potencial to be canon actually Even if part of them doesn't have "pokemon look" then would be accepted if they land in canon games
