Ahh the little a6000, you taught me so much, got me into photography and now I just can't stand it. In 2018 it was a great deal as a first time camera being sub $600 with a lens, but after a few years I've learned every inch of this camera and it's become a love hate relationship. The biggest gripe for me has been the contrast based Autofocus, sure sony tells you it's a hybrid system but that's a lie. It prioritizes the higher contrast part of the image EVERYTIME, oh you set the focus box right on your subject, here let me focus top right farthest away from what you wanted me to focus on. Sony's later cameras are phase detect and don't struggle with this design flaw. You are free to shoot moving subjects, god forbid you try shooting anything moving with a contrast based AF. If you've ever looked into Sony's lineup you would know the ZV E10 has all of the AF/tracking features from it's FF lineup, it's a mini a7c. Everyone wants to call it a vlogging camera, as a photographer I see it as the most feature packed aps-c to date. Sure it doesn't have the newest battery, or dual sd, or even optical image stabilization and people will argue it's not a photography camera because it lacks the EVF and flash. How many times did I use the flash? Once or twice and realized it's crap, what about the EVF? I looked through it and thought, nahh I'd rather use the screen. As someone who's been using a screen to shoot/film with since the early 2000's I've never been an EVF shooter. When I use my cellphone to take a picture I'm using it's screen, so what am I losing as a photographer by not having an EVF or Flash? Nothing, but what I gain is a Feature Rich Hyrbid shooter. It's cheaper then both the a6100 and 6400, has mic in, usb-c, animal eye af in photo/video, a6400 touch tracking, flippy screen, catalyst browse, decent onboard audio, and product showcase. I can't speak about your workflow but for me this camera checks so many boxes. I understand the rolling shutter can be an issue in video, and I see it on some youtubers videos but It's never been, Full stop, can't watch the video because of it. I honestly don't even know anyone who notices it or cares, and the examples used to showcase it are almost always more extreme then if you were actually filming something. As someone who was looking for an upgrade from the a6k and can't go FF yet, I was stuck between the a6100 and the a6400. 6100 has new proc, better battery life, color, animal eye af but only in photo, no color profiles, no touch tracking, no on screen level. The 6400 has older color science, animal eye af in photo, older proc, worse battery life, color profiles, weather resistant, and more expensive. If I had a6600 money I would pick the a7c all day instead, but when the goal is to be as cheap as possible but come as close to the feature experience as the a7c, only the zv e10 can. All the while being the cheapest offering of the group.

I mainly walk the trails in my city and do vlogs, but I am also shooting a short film coming up, so I am thinking of using the camera for B-roll for that as well (Blackmagic Pocket is the main camera for that). I currently have a Panasonic G95 but was thinking of adding a speed booster to it, or pulling the trigger on a Sony a7c. Pocket 2 number one for a reason. I shoot nearly all my band music performances now on the Pocket. and vlogging? near perfect. and that goofy gimbal thingy? you get used to it. takes time but it grows on you mostly because it fits in your hand, so light, like a small stick of butter...and video is rock steady. rest on list? shit. I agree. best, " Marty Sender You Tube". go see what the Pocket does when it's focused not on yourself, but bands and music. I shoot expensive mirrorless. But DJI comes out with a Pocket 3? I'm first in line.
I'm waiting for zv-20 with improved ibis but with active mode without cropping. At least the basics. Compact enough, mic jack, ibis + digital stabe, replace those stupid fluffy useless microphone with a crappy standard one. Move back the hot shoe and bring back the electronic viewfinder. A6600 it would it have been such a successful vlogging camera. But I'm hoping this year will release something respectable. Until then your smartphone remains pretty good solid option.
Yo Kaseeey! What is your best camera for live streaming an event in Ottawa on Saturday? *WINK* *WINK* - Much love from the cold icy land of Finland. We have the same climate, we're supporting the people of Canada this weekend by sending heart emojis on social media. That's effective.
Got a good wildlife thing I wanna try. Fitting a camera to a dogs back and making a pov vid. I have a gopro 8 , can't seem to to find a decent harness to keep the camera on.
What *combination* of cameras for travel vlogs would you recommend? The idea is to edit the footage and combine stable video footage with some amazing still photos. For example, DJ osmo pocket 2 for video and Sony a5100 for photo? I already have some E-mount lenses. Would some other combination be better ? Especially considering the color science issues when combining footage of two different cams. I also have the Sony X3000 but I have lost confidence in this gadget because of the melting sensor glue issue. Thanks.
Not camera conspiracies but your combo will do great for travel!! You can utilise the a5100 for tighter videos too, and the osmo for selfies or something. I wouldn't appreciate a tiny sensor fisheye camera like the x3000 tho
You need the Fuji audio hack for the XT-200. Reduce the gain from 0 to -12db in settings and the audio is great. I use it with the Rode Videomicro and the audio is crisp and clear all the way :-)
I'm down spending a few months in Mexico filming and your videos are what keep me sane. Today, I read some of your comments and so now I refuse to write anything about what you said, there are plenty of people talking about cameras here. How's the weather up there? Cold. Yeah, I know.
we will not reach to any good or bad cameras for vlogging because lots of camera list are not Mainly made for vlogging,,, DJI pocket / GoPro H10/Panasonic g100 only made for these purposes only from the beginning , thats my opinion.
The hair flare was appropriate for this type of video. Similar style should be rocked when you dispense knowledge to the question department of your channel. Hi. It’s me again. From the end of watching this video. Where is number 10? I want a refund on my liking this video please.
For convenience yes. Until the battery dies then you have to charge instead of swapping batteries in seconds. Also if you drop or break the phone....you don't have a camera, or a phone. Lol
For vlogging, the m50 and m6mk2 with a good variable ND and sigma 16 f1.4 with a rode wireless go or a solid Shotgun is in my opinion a solid "cheapish" compact option for run and gun. If you're OK with 4k crop and no autofocus in 4k on the m50, where the m6 fixed both of those but crippled the flippy screen. You had one job canon. 🙄🤣

Love what you have done with your hair!
Yes there was a meeting!!!! 🙌
I love this channel 😂
That ninth was greatest 😂😂😂
A used GH5 would be a much better option! un to see your comments though - agree with all you comments!
Yo Kaseeey! What is your best camera for live streaming an event in Ottawa on Saturday? *WINK* *WINK* - Much love from the cold icy land of Finland. We have the same climate, we're supporting the people of Canada this weekend by sending heart emojis on social media. That's effective.
MKE 400? What happened to the Oktava Mk 012?
Got a good wildlife thing I wanna try. Fitting a camera to a dogs back and making a pov vid. I have a gopro 8 , can't seem to to find a decent harness to keep the camera on.
The reason for most top 10 lists is to click on their affiliate links 😐
So, what's better? IBIS or E.S.? Canon says only E.S. can be cinematic. IBIS is mostly for photography ^^.
Years ago Canon was marketing ES because they didn't have IBIS at the time. Just like how Fuji say IBIS is important now, once the X-T4 has it. 😆
I'm still travel vlogging with the X3000 love it!!!
The answer is in your pocket…and you can ring your Mom!
Says I’m third… but I’m taking a long time to write this… so I’ll probably be like… 300th… we will see… THIS IS SPARTA!
You are the strongest!
tell us the best vlogging camera for each price tier
You need the Fuji audio hack for the XT-200. Reduce the gain from 0 to -12db in settings and the audio is great. I use it with the Rode Videomicro and the audio is crisp and clear all the way :-)
So, i noticed that in the description it didn't say anything about what your favorite breakfast food is...
sir plz do image comparision betwn sony a7c vs a7m4
What's on your GoPro set up?

you may receive other list for worst full frame vlogging cameras too 😍 and lets see your opinion.
I'm down spending a few months in Mexico filming and your videos are what keep me sane. Today, I read some of your comments and so now I refuse to write anything about what you said, there are plenty of people talking about cameras here. How's the weather up there? Cold. Yeah, I know.
Why snake arms? You can attach it to a drone and you're good to go 😂
11:00 what was that? :) oxygen cut out? ha ha
"It's not that your fired..."
we will not reach to any good or bad cameras for vlogging because lots of camera list are not Mainly made for vlogging,,, DJI pocket / GoPro H10/Panasonic g100 only made for these purposes only from the beginning , thats my opinion.
The hair flare was appropriate for this type of video. Similar style should be rocked when you dispense knowledge to the question department of your channel.
Hi. It’s me again. From the end of watching this video. Where is number 10? I want a refund on my liking this video please.
Best vlogger setup is Canon R6 with 14-35, F4 lens. this setup is the best.
If someone makes $3000 from vlogging. As someone who makes a nice $0 from it, I’ll probably use a GoPro 😂
So the gopro's and dji's aren't mirror less?
How cool would a snake arm be though? Lol …
Just ask yourself: "Will it Toneh?"
Canon 80d is for those who want to make short vlogs. As if you try to film for longer your arm will rip out.
finding your channel was the best thing since I found out Nutella was so delicious
The best blogging camera ...any new smartphone . You can't beat there quick focus and stabilization and wide view
For convenience yes. Until the battery dies then you have to charge instead of swapping batteries in seconds. Also if you drop or break the phone....you don't have a camera, or a phone. Lol
Number 10 is the camera you own! lol
Leaving out the Sony FDR X3000 is a crime. It should be top 3 easy.
These writers probably don't even know what is aperture when they write such stuff.
Hair style of the day 😁😁😁 What a fucking legend 😎😎🤣
Thank god they didn’t finish that list or I probably would’ve facepalm’d myself so hard that I might believe such BS.
I had the Canon AihDeeDee once.
