- One of the first things car enthusiasts like to do to their cars is lowering it. Not only does it make the car look more aggressive, but it enhances the car's performance. Many choose to either go with coilovers or lowering springs, but I decided to go with something else. In my opinion, the option that I show in this video is the best route for most people.

Also, it's not a helper spring it's an tender spring with a double spring rate and the system will not work without it.

Im kind of thinking about doing the suspension on my Volvo, can’t decided between Bilstein B6 dampers or BC Racing Coil overs, I don’t want to lower it, I would just like to tighten it up a bit…
Bilstein dampers are TÜV approved, since i live in Sweden i don’t need them to be TÜV approved, but I would like it to be Tüv approved if I’m going to spend that kind of money, plus TÜV stamp of approval would go along with my OEM+ brief nicely.
BC Racing Coil overs are adjustable which i like and easily being able to adjust the dampening would be nice, but they aren’t TÜV approved and might not be able to be set to Volvo factory rid hight.
Go with Bilstien b6 they are great damper and they last just as long as oem factory if and it will give an oem+ feeling in terms of ride comfort with enhance performance there base of mono tube design which is far superior to that of oem twin tube shock you typically get from factory racing coil over aren’t as reliable as typical good quality non adjustable struts and shocks and a higher price and on the road you don’t really get to enjoy it’s benefits.

@@VehicleVirals No complaints on the MSS? I'm just unsure because they are such a new company and hardly any reviews on the Supra forums.
@@chrisginoc I think they are great and love the ride quality. Just wish you can go a tad bit lower in the rear (which is something you experience with most HAS kits). Other than that, I love them.

company has been around since 2009/10 so not that new they also supply Shably Mustang 2022 onwards and will have MSS so that say a lot about their quality @@chrisginoc
I noticed in the video the front springs lettering was upside down. This is the second time I saw this and qas wondering if this is correct. I have a g80 and are getting noises in suspension and wondering if my install was done correctly. Please let me know. Thank you
We installed it correctly, so yes on this kit the lettering is facing down. The bottom portion of the springs are flat which allow it to sit flush on the adjuster. It would be incorrect to install it with the letter facing up in our case.

Definitely has adjustable lowering springs for the e60 chassis they’ll probably be around $600 for u
Hey I also own an E60 (2004 530i) for daily driving I wouldn’t go coils. I would go with H&R sport springs. If you don’t mind being a little more careful you can go for race springs and it drops it a little more. What I’m doing is replacing all control arms, sway bar links, and tie rods. Then getting new front struts and putting the springs on them before you put them in the car. If your on a budget go for KYB rear shocks. If not go for Bilstien. After an alignment the car will feel like crazy👍
