You guys are ambassadors to this great adventure paradise. I kept stopping and googlingall these unexplored places in Kentucky. I've rode some KAT around Daniel Boone, now I want to see it all! Excellent informative video/interview. Thank you.
Thank you for putting this together ! Getting my big desertx ready with some knobbys to attempt this! New to big bikes but very seasoned dirt bike rider. Need to get bdr on board with this
@@MotoAdventurer I'm on it alot although I dont ride adv bikes on the 4x4 section. I live right off 25 in London so I'm like 10 miles from the Rockcastle/London section lol
Steve Nies Jeff and I recorded while he was in Cincinnati. I wanted this on RUclips bc the KAT is so popular. Bill has shot so much video down there with me I figured it’s the easiest way to put a backdrop on the commentary
Thanks guys. Jeff, Appreciate all your hard(fun😁) work you put in for the rest of us. Can't wait to make my first trip out there in my Wrangler this year!!!
In central KY I have been to White Sulfur OHV and S-Tree. I recommend White Sulfur for beginners, S-Tree is totally doable as a beginner but White Sulfur OHV is the easier of the 2.
I'm watching this from here in Scotland, and absolutely drooling at the video footage, while listening. What would be the chances of buying or renting a bike around there to have a good ride around there? (once all this virus craziness has passed ofc) And does anybody do 'tours' of it?
The KAT is self guided in GPS. Rentals locally are a little harder to come by, but you could buy a suitable bike for $3k US and resell for the same price.
@@MotoAdventurer Cheers. I mibbe have to look into this in a few months, I just heard you guys talking about fall being the best weather for it anyway. Thanks for the upload, super interesting, and a great advert for the region.
Good interview Jeff seems like a good ambassador for the KAT and all riding. I asked him about the file once and all I got was go to Facebook. I don't do Facebook. How bout a link to Kents website?

For someone new to this sport still trying to build skills, what would be recommended trails or riding areas in central ky?

I've got to try this. Jeff Stoess is my hero!
Jeff Stoess of the famous wheel offset debacle? 😅
A guy named Hackworth recommended a saw..... Irony right there!
Rim shot!

@@Hutchie2112 absolutely! When the leaves change it's heaven on earth with Kentucky Cliffs and orange and reds
