I'm really looking forward to trying out a OH spirit some day, I love the quality of my Swisstool.

The 1 thing I didnt like about the wave is that puny needle like flathead/philips driver. Seems like a massive waste of a tool slot for a tool. Thats why I spent the £20 and bought the Surge instead. Now that is a brick of a tool

I've gotten some good use out of that bit fixing glasses and working on electronics, but I agree it's a waste of a slot. I'd much rather they make an adapter but to use it with the bit kit. Then you could use them on Rebars and what not too if you wanted.
The Surge is a beast, it has my interest but it always seemed a bit much to spend the money, might have to change that...

Besides one being a blunt nose and one being a needlenose I'm looking at them side by side and dont see any difference

@@Bombastic_Spastic My opinion mostly comes from an afternoon of tinkering where I was using them to cut soft electrical wire, pretty thin gauge. The Rev not only did a terrible job but I could see visible damage left behind on the jaws. Maybe I just got a lemon, but that and a couple of other nitpicks, like the knife bizarrely not being OHO despite being an outside tool, really soured me on it. Though, I did already have a Skeletool and Wave, so maybe I had unrealistic expectations subconsciously.

The original leatherman wave has much better scissor the the new ones

I briefly had an OG Wave but don't remember the scissors on it. It's a shame if they did downgrade them, though I do love the current Wave overall.
