bro imagine a monsters inc sequel where at the end sully opens boos door and he sees a little girl but it's not boo and then the comes comes in and the mom is boo
Dis^
this
&& the mum told her about sully and whatnot
It would be insane if the daughter look exactly like her mom when she was a baby
I’m crying
*If time passed that stupidly different then when boo was in the monsters world and then returned home, her parents would've been senile or dead.*
holy fuck mann
That's probably one of the reasons why the idea was scrapped
she was only in the monster world for a day or 2, but for sully it'd been years before this sequel happened. it'd add up.
@@morty1609 technically it won't add up. If it's been years (let's say 5) for Sulley to visit Boo again, and she's THAT old (looks 80 y/o), then that would mean time is 16x faster in the human world. A day or two in the monster world would be a lot in the human world then.
Karan Rawat wouldn't that be 16-32 days tho? her parents would definitely be worried but not dead I don't think
I never thought I would get clinical depression from a grown man saying "kitty".

Door being connected to a person would explain why doors are shredded. I always wondered what if people move, why shred the door?
Ikr
Would it take more energy to make the recording though?
Have you took into consideration why we go to theatre in the first place? Watching movies in a big screen is a different experience than watching it on a computer.
@@Octolicia not sure what that has to do with my comment.
I was commenting to this comment: Can you even consider the houses that doesn't even have a closet or door and how do they collect screams? what if someone recorded a scared kid would playing over and over again fill the tank? Energy crisis solved?
Plot hole: How can time be faster in the human world? If Boo was gone the monster universe for like two days, how long was she gone in the human world?
Maybe the time in the human world comes to a stop and connects to the time on the monster world for them to open the door to another dimesion (human world) and get energy. And then when they're on off-duty that's where the time of the human world disconnects with the monster world and time will go fast.
Maybe the monsters only get to go to a door for a few times because everytime that they go off-duty the kids that they entertain grows up.
And since they haven't visited boo for a year, everytime that the human world disconnects with the monster world, boo grew older and older.
They use the energy (I think) to stop time and connect to the human world. Maybe a door was open or connected the whole time that the human world didn't change even if they had an off-duty and quarantine.
So if 365 days = 90 years or so then what does 2 days =?
@@mr_meme7651 About 8 years, I did the math
Edit: Y'all can stop replying to me, yes I know I'm wrong.
ChargerKiller84: Gaming damn. They would have to come up with some smart to explain that.
Thank you for returning my senses, I was caught up in the sad story that I didn’t realised the plot holes, good thing this is just a fan made.
I always imagined a sequel where they would go back through that door and she would be like a twenty four year old woman and an artist. You can clearly see in her art that her childhood memories of a blue creature really affect what she paints and therefore it still affects her mind. But it's more of a subconscious thing. Her mind has kind of pushed it away. It isn't until Scully comes back through her door and she turns around and sees him that she remembers. For a moment she is shocked but then everything comes together in her mind and forms past memories and emotions and she stares at him until she finally blinks and tears start running down her cheeks perfously. She wipes her tears with the back of her hand with an almost childish gestures and says ever so softly "...kitty"
In my opinion, that's almost *forcing* emotions. Sort of feels like a cheap plot to make you cry. Not the sort of thing I really expect from Pixar, the leader of innovations and amazing storylines..
yeah...and then?
There's no real story for a movie here.
@@justbny9278 I completely agree, hahah I mean I was like seven when I imagined this after seeing the movie and it always stayed in the back of my mind. I think it was more just my young brain trying to get more closure after the film ended.

The second he said that I felt my heartstrings pull. And no, I'm not using that as a figure of speech, I felt sadness. Not the kind of sadness like losing a game or something like that, but actual sadness. And I hadn't felt that in a while.
I honestly feel like they would redo a Monsters Inc sequel but it won’t be nearly as memorable as this draft of it.
Don't know how to change the story
So my version of the story it has the same beginning looking in the human world and they haven't been sleeping for days to the point where they're now seen they're seeing boo running in the certain way they don't go into a a hospital then they see their boo in a hospital bed the final words that she said Kitty and then ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring it was all a nightmare bring me why am I telling you this

04:14 ..my jaw actually dropped, that would be so smart and so cute.. if your version of the sequel were ever made, I would definitely cry
Nononono, there's actually more to that!
"Originally, Boo was actually going to return in the second Monsters, Inc. film (which was then supposed to take place ten years after the original rather than before it) as a teenager. In this film, Sulley and Mike, while trying to celebrate her birthday find out that Boo and her family have already moved to a different house when they find an old woman sleeping in what was once her room one day, causing the two monsters to travel into the human world to look for her new house. Unfortunately, the two monsters start to forget how to get back to their world, and to make matters worse, Boo doesn't even remember them anymore since teens and adults do not believe in monsters, nor does think they're funny, and the only way to get back is to try to make her laugh again. The reason why this sequel was scrapped in the first place was because John Lasseter thought that the final shot of the first was just too heartwarming to be continued."
-an excerp from Boo's wiki
i agree, the ending is not perfect but just too beautiful and better left untouched even though a lot of people probably would pay a huge amount of money to see what happens next after the final ending of the original movie.

Yooo ikr that plot twist where boo was the old hag blew my mind wtf

Cool idea but the whole time thing is a bit problematic. Boo spent about a day in the monster world so that would mean she had been gone more than a day in the real world. Her parents would have called the cops and stuff so they would have to retcon that for this to work.
You are smart
Harvard:boi you want a scholarship
Yeah but she return so her parents won't get to worry
More importantly though, many monsters are assigned specific doors/children (i.e. Randall and Boo). Though not exactly stated anywhere, the implied frequency of the visits makes them seem nightly instead of over weeks, months, years, etc.
Maybe they can change that to where monsters live longer.
That may had been a theory, but damn that would of killed me if that how a Monsters Inc movie ended

That is some next level of hitting you.
Taffychips same!
The whole “Boo is actually the old woman” thing was predictable, but still touching nonetheless. It also wouldn’t make sense in realism if Boo was living in her childhood home. I think a plot that would’ve had the same effect goes like this:
They somehow manage to find Boo at her house after looking for a long time. They find her playing with kids of her own, and decide that it’s best to just let Boo be an adult. They go back to their world, distraught, when mike realizes that her kids probably have doors somewhere. Mike and Sully search for one of Boo’s kids doors, and when they find one, they leave the present with her kid. “From Wazowski and Kitty” they then make Boos kids laugh until they also grow old, calling themselves uncle mike & kitty. Perhaps Boo can even walk in on the monsters and their kids, making a really emotional reunion or something
Hugs not Drugs wow I like this idea, don’t know if you could flesh a whole movie worth of material out of it, but it’d be cool as a half-hour special or something
Hugs not Drugs the video says that doors link to a person and not a specific house so the old boo still makes sense
👎🏻
Hugs not Drugs I think it’d make more sense if it was Boo’s daughter in that room. Visiting her grandparents when all of a sudden she meets these monsters. You can also have the duality of no one believing in her when she says she saw one, but when her mom comes to get her at the end of the movie, she remembers them.
Boo isn’t at her house, he said that the door links to that person and not just a single closet or normal door.
That part in the video 4:38 where he says "kitty?", I cried a tiny bit. Got me emotional. That story with time acceleration and old boo still remembering sully aka kitty would have been great.
Oh my god some director or producer needs to watch this video 💔💔💔💔 I would watch it in a heartbeat

I would have a sequel where an adult boo tries to prove the existence of the monster world by writing a tell-all book, with no one believing her and brushing of her story as a dream or something she imagined as a kid, she remembers that monsters come and go through the closet and uses that as a way of getting to monstropolis, while there she makes notes of what she sees, reunites with Mike and Sully and they have fun getting reacquainted but things go south when she starts to fade away due being cut off from the human world; Mike and Sully get her back after an emotional good bye and upon returning home, decides to make her story a best selling story book instead

When I heard “Kitty” I started crying
It's a great idea but the age range doesn't fit. *(Please read this, I've done the calculations for like an hour)*
If Boo's door was only archived for 1 year & the max age range for kids it's about 8-9, it would mean that the kids would grow around 5.92-6 years per month if she was 80 at the time she was sick. So that means Sully only had about only 40-45.75 days with Boo which wouldn't really connect the friendship with Sully & Boo much & Sully would probably forget her anyway.
Also in Monsters Inc, they took abt 1 day in the monster world to return Boo back which would make Boo lost for 71-72 days & her parents would probably b in the room crying. Also the ending, Mike "repaired" the door back which took about a few days which would make Boo a few years older.

Nice collegehumor reference!
The only problem with this is that it's established that time moves the same in both worlds. That's why monsters are assigned the same kid(s) for several years and that's why the map in Monsters Inc. has all the time zones and current human time. It moves linear to the Monsters' world. Otherwise I appreciate this theory a lot.
Edit: Also there is significant time that passes between when Boo's door is shredded and when Mike pieces it back together for Sully (and since Boo is the same age at that point it's confirmed time moves the same).
I would have prefered a story where they find a teenage Boo in a mental institution because she still insists she met real monsters, and people think she's insane. So Sully and Mike choose to stay away instead of making people think she's crazy
That would lead to an interesting character dynamic where Boo goes through a number of emotional states.
At first, she's extremely happy to see Sully and Mike again both because of them being her friends, and because she now knows (for herself if nothing else) that she isn't crazy after all. But then she starts to feel frustration and anger; everyone thinks she's crazy, and it's all because of them. Over the years the memories have faded in her mind and she now thinks it was Sully and Mike who took her to the world of monsters. She remembered it being fun, but it still lead her to where she is now.
I was thinking more beyond the lines of Boo moving and starting a family of her own when I first heard of this sequel. Now that I think of it, Sulley and Mike could go and visit her kid every night via the two worlds.
Damn thats depressing.
My idea is more bittersweet but still staying true to the Disney element.
Sounded better in your head I think, imagine how depressing that would be for a kids film

Monsters Inc. 2 would’ve been so sad. I knew it would’ve been Boo from the start, it’s always portrayed in when visiting humans in movies, our time goes by faster than most other characters worlds do. It’s so sad.
MONSTERS INC 2 WRITER HERE! HA! Hi Bryan! (I wrote this a year ago). You did a really good job with this video! I AM THE ORIGINAL SCREENWRITER OF MONSTERS INC. 2 LOST IN SCARADISE. Along with my partner Rob Muir, we wrote for Disney's Circle 7 and were part of the takeover...or buyout. We also wrote a draft of Toy Story 3 in particular the opening of the movie which was an "homage" from our draft. At any rate we have a full script of MI2 and a few people outside of Disney have read it. Of late, Jim Hill of Jim Hill Media, recently said on a podcast that the screenplay was one of the best animated films he's ever read. We were and are extremely proud of the draft. Your guesses were good, but not quite how we resolved the issue of Boo. Frankly, that was what for us was one of the big misses in Monsters University. We've always felt that this version would fit nicely in-between the two films. Actually, there's a great article on all of this in Animated Views Magazine. BTW-I made the reel you have in your video...it was just put together from some left over artwork I had. It used to have dialog attached, but years on the Internet and it was diluted. I'm happy to see it in your version. Cheers, Bob Hilgenberg (of Bob & Rob
Holy shit I did not expect the ending to your version of this story. It actually made me feel something. I’m just imagining that and I would for sure be crying. Though the one huge issue with this is that if this was true the entire Pixar Theory would fall apart and be 100% disproven and impossible to reconstruct as the entire theory hinges on the witch from Brave being Boo from Monsters Inc.. If this was the way it went then Boo being the witch would be impossible and the theory would collapse. Which is sad because The Pixar Theory is one of the top 10 biggest media theories and movie theories of all time. Losing it would be like losing half of Pixar. The theory builds the world of Pixar and is something that connects everyone. Having it be destroyed would ruin a lot of the joy in Pixar’s movies after you watch them.
It could be salvaged however, with two possible things.
#1: Something magical happens, and the world gets charged with some sort of power giving new life to the elderly and giving them power.
alternatively,
#2: it wouldnt be boo, but a possibly offspring, and the way they would know about Sully is boo herself told them or maybe monsters are more or less assigned to certain familys possibly.
But thats just my take on it.
you are right about the pixar theory. it's just that there are other ways of connecting the movies. just look at film theorist's video where he concluded that the cars movies are actually a sequel to a bugs life and that the cars are hyper evolved bugs. far fetched, maybe. but we are talking about the pixar theory here, the one where there are living toys and other things that would seem fat fetched. people would just make a new one eventually, or find a way that it would fit, because these are individual movie series that likely weren't even meant to fit together except for the various Easter eggs. infact easter eggs are about almost all the basis the theory has, and like half of them wouldn't be able to connect the stories. only the pizza planet truck and bianlarge (forget how to spell that). things like the A113 and others are just nods to the other movies.
It could sttill be the witch buy she just dies
Or boo could say at the end of the movie kitty? I finally found you
It is heartbreaking but I think that it is kind of depressing...
Everybody will die and no one would recover :(
Not to be nit-picky, but I think a longer time frame rather than just 1 year would have to pass in order for the idea of the older woman being Boo to be plausible. Not only that, but it would add to the emotional strain on Sulley’s distress in not being able to visit Boo for such a long time. Add that into the mix with your heart-wrenching finale, and the audience will literally become Niagara Falls.
......damn, this is a storyline I want to see happen! I know it would be hella bittersweet, but can we honestly say that todays generation isn’t mature enough for these topics as opposed to back in the earlier says?
But have Boo recall her life, like the movie Up have photography and clips of showing everything !
Boo’s last words being, “Kitty”?, makes me shed tears. 😭 And don’t think I’ll ever get over it.
Welp. Now I'm crying. That would've been a beautiful sequel, though I wonder how it would've effected the "Pixar theory" since old lady Boo is widely believed to be the witch from brave.
As I strongly believe in the Pixar theory, I still think it would connect weirdly. It would be right after monsters inc as it is only like a year later in the monster world, but it could be hundreds in the human world. If boo is the witch from brave, she could be as young as 80 and as old as 100 but if there was this sequel, she could be 150 or 200 years old within 1 year in Monstropolis. But from what I have noticed in Monsters inc, is that time must move way slower in the human world as it is nighttime when Boo is in monsters inc, stays there for 2-3 days, and comes back almost exactly the same as it was when she left, I say 'almost' because at the end of monsters inc when sully puts her in her room, the laundry basket that sully tripped on is back where it was before it was moved and the mobile on the ceiling the sully tried to flush down the toilet, so when he brings her back, it was before he even came to her in the first place to make it seem like it never happened, but boo still remembers obviously
Widely believed...by idiots.
RebekahB5 wait the witch had a accent in monster inc. she spoke normal English so did her accent change.
that's stupid to think a little girl would grow up to be a witch, pixar theory is pure nonsense
Wtf that idea for a sequel is the most tragic thing I've ever heard
Thank you, someone agrees XD
Your idea of a sequel made me cry, but I absolutely love it at the same time. If any movie is going to be educational yet moving in terms of teaching acceptance in aging or heartbreaking times, I would love for that bittersweetness to come from my favourite childhood movie, Monsters Inc.
Let me fix the biggest flaw, time difference. The room is still boo’s room, however the old woman in the bed is just a visiting grandmother. Boo is sleeping in a different room to accommodate her and this is revealed when mike and sully are about to shut the door down for the final time. Something urges Sully to check one more time and once the door opens, we see a teenaged boo sitting on her bed. The three catch up and Boo explains the situation, but also reveals that she is going to be moving very soon. Meaning this would be the final time they would see each other. They say their goodbyes and the screen fades to black.
Fast forward 20 years.
Sully’s son (who looks just like his old man, with a few minor differences) is preparing for his first day as a laugh extraction specialist and we see a familiar door pop into place. His son slowly opens the door and on the wall we see a family photo swinging gently. In the photo is a familiar looking woman and a little girl, who is clutching a handmade dollar with nostalgic features. Sully’s son peers into the room and we hear a very faint “Kitty?” He smiles wide as the credits roll.
But if time moves so much faster in the human world, wouldn't they have to make a bajillion new doors pretty much every day as the children rapidly outgrow their scaring age? Also, wouldn't they already know about time in the human world, considering the fact that the time of day in the human world is displayed on a giant screen in the scaring floor?
maybe make the rule that 1 minute in monster is one hour in human
Well there IS a massive amount of doors.
Maybe the time changes when the children grow too old to be useful anymore
No, lets say that 1 year in the monsters world is at least 50 years there. You could say that for the human kids, a scare seems every 5 days but in reality its only 1 day for the monsters.
THANK YOU! :D
Dear Bryan
This is a beautiful type of movie. I’m beginning to wonder why haven’t you got a job as an author of a book or a director of a movie or something.
Your work is so beautifully show cased and so much interesting concepts, after seeing this bittersweet concept, you’ve showcased through RUclips, I feel so inspired. You’re definitely a person I look up to due to how emotional you’re video can be within 5 minutes and you already spent like a minute on the intro technically meaning 4 minutes!
Such work should be more well respected and should have much more subscribers and support as a channel. I am amazed at the fact that I have not seen this channel earlier in my life. I hope you keep up with the work.
Yours sincerely,
A fan
We need to make this a reality, I know one or two animators
There is a big different between having an idea and being able to bring it to life. I like this idea but anyone can have a movie idea. Go on forums and you will find hundreds of people with great idea's for movie sequels, prequels, show episodes, series reboots, and others stuff. Heck, lots of movies and shows start as amazing idea's and still end up bad.
It takes a lot of work and talent to actually bring that idea to life. To sit down and plot out every event, create every character, write all the dialogue. And it takes even more for it come out well.
If the time moves alot faster in the real world, how long was boo gone when she was in the monster's world? That would be the only problem, but the story sounded great and it made my heart melt.
You know what if her parents thought she died or something or missing for months then they shit their pants when they see boo sleeping in her bed
it's probably why it was scrapped, bc the first movie wouldn't make sense
I think a tweek that might make this work is that time doesn't move differently...monsters just don't get old the same way humans do.
They live much longer lives so...one year to a monster might be 40 to a human.
Then she'd be 44 I think she wouldn't be that age
I meant that as an example not actual aging.
80 years works just as well. It was the point behind it that mattered
Hey guys I just finished the video, I can’t feel my heart. It’s just a pit of sadness I can’t explain- nevermind.
lmao, the moment Disney created a CGI animation studio they started working not on one, not on two, but three sequels. Money money money
(Your comment is almost a year old) to be honest I think that would cost too much money (regarding the CGI). And they're currently working on the classics so I highly doubt it would happen. But to be honest,I would pay for that lol.
It’s hard creating animations. Nothing’s free
This scrapped sequel would’ve been MUCH better than the cash-bragging prequel that is Monsters University.
IKR!!!!
I agree 100%, why could'nt pixar use this idea for the films ACTUAL sequel, the whole thing of "Mike" and "Sulley" finding "Boo" is not in her home and try to find her in the human world but with some trouble from it, this would of been perfect!
Monsters University was such a hollow movie. Also had an annoying credits song that’s still stuck in my head to this day.
I know, right? Mike and Sully’s adventure in the sequel would’ve been an interesting parallel to Boo’s in Monsters Inc. (Since all of them left their own world to visit an unfamiliar one)
And yes, the prequel was definitely hollow. It didn’t really feel like Pixar to me.
That last part broke me. It's so sad 😢
bro turned pixar into scorsese with that fake plot
I was always disappointed in Monsters University. You're right. It wasn't memorable. As a kid I was always very attached to Boo and always looked forward to seeing her again. I'm sad they never used this idea. It has a lot of potential and it's a lot more creative than two enemies becoming friends, which is such a common trope. Not that it wasn't done well, but this story idea is much more creative and tugs at heartstrings a lot more.
A monsters inc sequel is a terrible idea. 1) Kids and monsters get along so there is no conflict 2) The monsters can't scare anymore so it will be less fun to watch 3) A whole movie of monsters doing stand up is kinda weird 4) Its clearly best for Boo that they set her free.
Unfortunately that would have a pretty severe plot hole compared to the original. That gives the impression the human world moves at a pace close to 40-50 times faster than the monster world (assuming Boo was getting close to 10 by then). If that were the case Boo would have been gone nearly 2 months in the human world in the original. She'd probably be in her 20s by the time the movie ended since its implied that took a few months.
It's a heartbreaking idea mind you and it would have been a real tear-jerker, but with what we've seen it just doesn't fit.
Make humans age faster than monsters, that seems a lot easier to swallow than time distortion.
@@kosherkingofisrael6381 that kinda makes more sense
man you ruined the fun
@@marcusguzman1642 But all I try to do is bring joy and laughter through animation and RUclips poops! What have I done?!
Red King Rauri it’s okay I still love u
I almost crying when you say boo is now old, its so heartbreaking
I’d prefer a sequel of what was never made in combination with your idea. I’d end it on a happier note. Like maybe they could find Boo as a teen or young adult, and how after all these years she still remembers Mike & Sully. She could tell them about her life and how much she’s grown & changed thanks to their guidance. Something like that.
@? Agree
Well I would hate to end their relationship on a sad note like that, it's a heart breaking end. We know the reaction that when "All Dogs Go to Heaven" endded with the Hero dog dying and not being able to stay with his little girl, well it had a bad reaction, kids where leaving the theaters in tears. I would hate to see that happen again. I would of made it like when Two worlds collide. Where the Monsters are found out, the antics that happen, and where there are now volunteers to help keep the Monsters realm powered up. Where people from both worlds can visit the others realm, creating talk shows, TV series, restaurants, and other types of businesses. I think this would be a bit more fun, with a happy ending.
Heck Mike and Sully could become new heroes to both worlds, and write books, make movies, becoming well known.
life isn't all flowers and sunshine though, i think the world needs a few more bitter sweet stories. these sad things happen, and its ok.
@@AstraPlanetshine this story he made up kinda reminded me of interstellar
kids ruin everything don't they ?
As much as I hate to say this, what you're suggesting is horrible for most children. So many people grow up on the concept the world is "Happily Ever After!" It is like telling you ice cream is something you can eat every day for every meal. You're lying to them not even to help. You can't speak for those kids. You can't speak for me back then.
All Dogs Go to Heaven, made me cry, yet it stuck with me as one of my favorite movies despite being hard to go back to for a time. My first 3D movie as a kid? I left the theater crying as I didn't expect monsters to jump out at me, that was impossible for my mind. Looking back I find it silly and enjoyed it.
People can cry from happiness but for it to be there needs to be sadness, Boo is dying but she got to see someone she treasured and believed in her entire life, otherwise it ends up as a generic movie. I don't want to be a jerk here, but your movie is generic AND undermines the entire process of going from screams to laughter of the first movie, now they can't use that stuff since humans are everywhere and if they feel an emotion it basically screws over everything. It flat out breaks the rules.
Don't speak for those kids, especially if you're not one of those kids, which your comment seems to imply you're not one of them. Every person is unique, there is no umbrella for everyone.
Sorry if this came across as a bit blunt.
I actually teared up watching this video. What a theory!!
ik.. Watching this on freeform Wierd Coincidence
Tear up HA I cried!
You made me cry. Why would you do that?
But it surely must have put some emotions in you
@Duck Li so you are that kind of person
The idea that the human world has a faster time then the monsters doesn't make sense considering that they had her with them for at the very least a full day, but when they bring her back it's still night in her world. Plus at the end when they reunite it has been some time since they last saw each other but she sounds the same and he recognized her immediately. If anything it seems the opposite and the human world has a slower time then theirs.
I knew what they were going for with the old lady in boo's and I knew what you were going for when you built upon it but it didn't tWIST MY HEART ANY LESS CHRIST.
I would of drowned in my own tears.
Me before watching this:Oh,BOI.I'm finally over my eternal sadness.Lets watch some youtube now.
After i watched this:All around me are familiar faces...worn out places, worn out faces...
This is a very good plotline for Monsters’ Inc. 2: Lost in Scaradise same for Toy Story 3 (original) and Finding Nemo 2, you should make one focusing on what the plot for Zootopia 2 or Moana 2 will be like next.
Hey Bryan. Your idea sounds very heartwarming, but I think I have an idea of my own that I hope interests you.
The events from the original film takes place a year later. Boo is 4 years old and her real name is Mary. Trevor, who is a 17-year old teenager who is about to be a senior in high school, is babysitting Boo for the weekend while both of their parents are away for their business trip. Trevor is also Boo's neighbor and has a single mom. When he was 5, his father left him due to the fact that he cannot handle with all of the screaming from the monster coming out of the closet, in which happens to be Sulley. His fahter did not have too much time to do with his family and just rather focus on work. It just so happens that Trevor was the first child who was being scared by Sulley
12 years later, as he was babysitting Mary and tucked her in bed, and closed the door slightly and he heard something. It was Mike and Sulley visiting Boo and he peeked through the door and he recognized the same monster that scared him as a kid. He thought they were trying to haunt her, so Trevor grabbed a hockey mask and and a fake chainsaw to scare them away. He burst through the door and they were screaming and so Boo attacked him and he removed his mask revealing that it was him.
They all talked about what happened between them and they understood each other. Trevor felt terrible of what he did and so were the monsters of the way that happened after they scared him and what broke their family apart. Mike and Sulley went back to the monster world and Trevor tried to apologize to Mary but she is really mad and had to leave her alone.
Meanwhile, Randall who is still in the human world met some other monsters who were banished including Johnny from the prequel. When they knew that Sulley took over Monsters Incorporated, Randall wanted to get revenge on them. So their plot was to sneak through every child's bedroom and kidnap them and their first target was Boo since they are close to her house.
As three of the banished monsters climbed through the window, Trevor heard screaming and Mary was about to be taken and then, he saved her just in time but did not want to scare them, but to fight them and he was getting pretty beaten up. Sulley felt guilty about himself, so he went back to Boo's room and he caught them and he managed to take one of the monsters back to his world and bring Boo and Trevor to his world for safety.
He questions the monster what he was planning to do and he told him everything. Mike and Sulley then realized that Trevor is a really good at scaring because every Halloween since he was 11, he has scaring people in haunted houses with make up and more. They think they could use as a scarer. They help make him scary and so he goes back to his world to scare off those banished monsters to prevent from exposing as they were waiting for Sulley to bring in Boo and kidnapping Trevor's girlfriend. The plan was success, and the banished monsters were sent back into their world for a new punishment.
What makes this good is that we see how humans can act scary too, also we get to know more about Boo and her family, seeing how grown ups can be after being scared by monsters as a child.
And it is possible for Boo to reveal to their family of what she has been hanging around with in her room so it can be a part of her for life. Also for Trevor too.
In the end, Mary(Boo) as a teenager was using that as a bedtime story for Trevor's son who happens to think is that how humans and monsters live in harmony.
That's a pretty gosh darn good idea!
Thanks. Well, I thought it might be a good idea to include more humans such as Boo's parents, and a teenager was scared of monsters as a kid to see how they grow up to be. Also, to see how long Boo to going to keep a secret about visited by Mike and Sulley. How long would that turn out? And what would happen to Randall in the human world? And get to know more monsters that were banished. I thought that might be good besides way skipping time throughout the entire movie.
@@extemefireworks91 hmm, interesting idea
I think some things sound a little cheesy or forced but very entertaining(pixar could probably make it work)
but i do have one question..did it actually happen? Or it's just a story
It was just a story. I hope it wasn't too bad.
Trevor Asrejadid I like your idea much better than the guy's in the video.
Holy shit man, just imagining the movie made me cry!!!!
This Monsters Inc. sequel would have been worth it.😢
This would be more sad than toy story 4 😢😢😢😢😢
No, the story concluded perfectly with the first movie. The prequel was the best way to go.
@@cuppajoe2022 the prequal was not the best way to go. It doesn't need to exist
@@Patrickmayonaiseinstrument A sequel wouldn't need to exist either, the best way to go would actually just to stop at Monsters Inc. Any sequel would contradict the main point of the first and 0.5th movies which was about scaring. As Dean Hardscrrable puts in Monsters University "Scariness...Is the true measure of a monster. If you're not scary...What kind of a monster are you?"
I ruin the 69 like but i put it back...
There's one problem with this theory though: the very end of the first movie - where Sully walks into Boo's room and reunites with her - takes place MONTHS after the latter's door was shredded. So Sully and Mike were going in her room after a year (12 months) and find an old lady that we suspect is Boo. Well, judging from the picture at 2:13, I'd say the woman must be at least 80 years old. Boo in the first movie, on the other hand, was 2 years old.
Again, this is after a single year in Monstropolis. Even if you assume that a single MONTH went by from farewells to reunion in the first movie (despite the pluralized monthS), Boo would still have aged about 6 years; making her 8 during the reunion (math done here is [80-2] / [12 + 1] = 6). Her voice would have changed significantly by then.
So, in other words, 1 monstropolis month = 6 human years; or time runs about 73x faster in the human world than in monstropolis. This also means that Boo would have been missing for at least 73 days before returning home. You would think, if that were the case, there would have been a scene of her parents rushing in to see her when they heard even the faintest sound.
Bottom line: I see too many plot holes in this. I can't see this being the case
