Those scarves are so beautiful. I love the trench! I went looking for a beige one and found a navy one almost exactly like yours. Big shoulders and long. I also found a London Fog burgundy one as well. These also have removable linings. I feel good now that I bought these trenches because you love yours. I wore my blue one Easter Sunday to church because it was still pretty cool. Mine were also thrift store finds and I paid so little for them. I thought that if I didn't really like them I could donate them again.

It's such a pleasure to watch you driving around New York discovering new places, feels like a big adventure! Here in Holland vintage clothes shopping is not that abundance. Maybe because in Holland there big charity textile donating containers in every town, which is a good thing ofcourse. But the good stuff is selected and bought by professional dealers and the rest goes to developing countries. How does that work in America?

I absolutely LOVE Hello Fresh. I do the vegetarian/ Pescatarian meals four times a week. And it cost less than going to the store! I am on the two person meal plan and it's only 89.00 per week!! I'm a single person, so I make the meals, and have it for dinner, then the rest for lunch the next day, so I'm also doing my meal prep at the same time. It's genius!

Dont crop the denim jack. Its easier to find a cropped one than a vintage one that length. Its great for dreary weather or just to sit out back in on cooler days. You will reach for it more than you think. We love what you do.

Karen your navy blue trench looks like an United States Air Force uniform issue. 44L is the size label...there may be a large white label in the bottom inside. We used to call it the Inspector Gadget coat. The one you have is an earlier version of that style (more cotton canvas). The newer issues are a polyester blend and have more drape! I still have my Air Force rain coat from 1984...The day it was issued to me I knew I would wear it again and again! Great score!
I love your kitchen. It is just my husband and I and I am going to try the hello fresh. We tend to waste a lot of food because I try to elevate the cooking but always buy way too much....it is frustrating. Can I ask what your appliances are? Love the whole kitchen. Timeless.

That company does not deliver here in Alaska. So mad, oh well. I do not like to eat out at all. When I go out of the house, I hate to waist sunlight in a buildings, I can eat at home lol. When I go out, I pack a few energy snacks. I just feel eating out is so unhealthy, and I can't see if the place I'm eating at are clean or not. You just can't see back in the kitchen area.
