I love your channel because I feel like I'm getting real hair secrets, prime advice, and cool products from watching your videos. I don't skip through them at all. It has a very simple, old school RUclips feel when people were making videos to promote healthy natural hair.. not just for money. The authenticity of your channel is SO refreshing and appreciated. I'm so happy I'm a subscriber ^,^
I respect ANYONE who does DIY and Ayurvedic methods. That tells me you are INTERESTED in your hair. I’ll be trying some of the Ayurvedic powders soon! Can’t wait!
Thanks for the informative videos. So about that yogurt conditioner. . . You were so right! Feels shady going on but surprisingly great after it's out. I put amla, moringa, and some other stuff in it and it works better than 90% of my store bought conditioners. Thank you!
Thanks for the awesome info, Ti! I still need to grab some of that protein booster. My fave product is aloe vera, hands down. I've had intense scalp issue since I was 8. Oils make it inflamed and scaly. Most medicated shampoos do nothing but make my hair and scalp dry. I've developed bald spots in the past because of it. Aloe, cut straight from the leaf, has helped resolve those issues-scalp happy and hair moisturized. If it were a person, I'd give it my money and suck its toes. Yes, I said it and I stick by that shit lol
Damn, girl! That's quite the testament, haha. I've been meaning to try aloe straight from the leaf, ever since Nap85 did a video on it. I just keep forgetting to pick it up, when I'm at the store!
I love and appreciate your channel so much. Your hair care information has made me more aware of my hair needs and what products work best. I'm less intimidated by DIY products and learning to step away from the store aisles and shop online for better products with natural ingredients. My hair is less dry feeling and I have your channel particularly to thank. Much continued success💗💗💗
Ooohh, coconut cream, I used it once to make a mango, coconut cream hair mask that my hair loved! I made the coconut cream from fresh coconut milk that I made as well. Thanks for a reminder to revisit it.
You have become my fav RUclips natural hair chick... because you are honest and your routines are complicating! Love it! Some of your tips have saved my hair!
Can we get an update on that amazing detangler you created? Do you still use it? Have you made any changes to it? Is it still working as good as before?
For me to go straight to the description box for lip deets and read your "don't buy it, it sucks." Burst out laughing in public. This is why I love you! Lol
I am loving Cassia and Marshmallow Root Powder mixed with Aloe Vera Juice in my moisturizing conditioner. I have only used it twice, but I already see a difference in my hair.
I have been binging on your vids today. You are the only youtuber that I can watch all videos till the end. Because the whole video is full of content, while other youtubers bore me with 5min videos. You? They can be 45mins long and I know is worth it.
Luv, luv, luv this idea of boosting the efficacy of products! I've always done this, from childhood...but it was usually out of necessity. Lol! Even now...gotta stretch that dolla. Thx so much for this vid, girl! 💖👍😃
i just love u to pieces thanks for all your informative info.im gonna get all the products and incorporate it into my hair care routines thanks girl keep it comming u so f***ing real i love it!!!!
I tried coconut cream and hated it because there was a tone of little coconut particules in my hair (like flakes) afterwards. I had to wash my hair (3x) all over again. I used heat to melt it a little bit prior to apply it to my hair combined with conditioner. Then applied heat using a hair drier cap with a plastic cap on my hair. Even then the particules were present. How do you deal with that?
I was using aloe vera juice in my diy spray leave-in conditioner that I use to moisturize my hair everyday, and I noticed it made my hair a little drier so I started using a little less and added water to compensate for the aloe vera that I took away, the rest of the mixture is argan oil, and sheamoisture jbco conditioner, that's it, and it still was dry, not as dry, but not like before I started using the aloe vera, so I just had to stop using it at all, now it feels great and moisturized everyday😊 do know why my hair may not like the aloe vera juice 🤔
Maisha Addai hmmmm 🤔 that's so crazy!! You would think with aloe being so soothing that it would be better than just plain old water, but I guess water is the best thing for some of us😊 and hey, it saves us money 😊✌
K love right! I just couldn’t figure out why my hair was so dry after spraying the mixture of aloe Vera and water. But I figured that It just didn’t work for us so I discontinued use as well
Maisha Addai yeah I tried googling it and I found no explanation, just alot of other people with the same problem...so everything ain't for Everybody....u know 😊✌
Great video as always! I just recently started playing with coconut cream as a deep conditioner and it definitely helps keep my hair from shrinking up while I'm detangling.
For acidifying: How much are you deleting the vinegar? 1 part water to 1 part vinegar? OR 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar? And if you are doing the acidifying AFTER you've rinsed out the conditioner, doesn't that mean you're stripping away the conditioner? (Conditioner is just laying on top of the hair, correct?)
Ditto me on all the positive comments. My hair loves honey, vinegar always and coconut only in some cases. But my hair is especially in love with a diy potion that I discovered from You Tuber channel, "Enjoyable Inspiration, VITAMIN HAIR RINSE FOR ANY HAIR TYPE". She infuses the vinegar with Guinness beer. I make mine in half gallon batches using an anchor hocking jar since its wide mouthed as opposed to the smaller bottle mouths. Of course I personalize her recipe and add other herbs such as crushed hibiscus flower or hibiscus tea, sage, rosemary, cloves and such. I also allow mine to steep for months as she suggests the longer the stronger. Also, RUclips channel, "Roots4U45" does similar in her presentation "HOW TO MAKE INFUSED VINEGAR HAIR/RINSE ". (Have yet to try hers though) I'm planning to do my next batch using the Coconut water vinegar that you always advocate. Thanks as always. Lovely video. P.S. Also look-a-here: www.slowpokeslocalfood.com for their Coconut Kefir Cream, Plain. I mix it in my henna treatments just before I apply it to my hair and scalp. I also include it in my diet regimen.
I was thinking "how did she get her hair like that?" Nice choice of wig, I thought it was all yours (as in from the hair follicle's) Just came across your channel today..Je t'aime!
Hey 👋 new subbie here !! Love you energy and your so beautiful!! Wow coconut cream I’m definitely going to have to try that because as much as I love coconut oil it’s tends to break me out due to my very sensitive dry skin so I’m praying this will be the next best thing lol it’s out of stock now but I will be on the lookout thanks great video.
Welcome to the fam! And, just a warning, coconut cream will still contain coconut oil, so it probably won't solve your issue with breakouts from coconut oil. Be careful!
ikr...free shipping is on today (I don't know how long it's been on, but I bought the 4/$20 ccc (I bought one big jar 2-3 years ago and just towards the end)
I have super thin and fine hair... someone recently told me that all my hair needs is water and oil.. no other products.. my hair being 4c and super dry and the lowest of low porosity, I really don't know if it'll be enough. Do products actually do anything for the health of the hair.. or do they just help the hair appear more manageable?
You should really try the booster method nappyheadedjojoba is talking about in this video. From experience, the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Extra Moisture Detangler is an excellent booster and moisturizer in between wash days. It's loaded with glycerin and argan oil. Also, KandidKinks has a recent video singing the praises of hot oil treatments for her hair; said it made her hair the softest ever. I personally plan to try the one featured in her video. HTH!
My hair is very different from yours in many ways; it is very dense, coarse and 2C - 4C in patches. One thing that really has an lasting effect on the hair is fermented rice water. Look up some videos on it especially "Green Beauty Channel". It contains a protein the penetrates the hair shaft, increases elasticity and decreases surface friction. I really feel the difference and the difference is more noticeable after every use. You make your own and it is really inexpensive.
Olive oil and avocado oil can also penetrate the hair. Some folks such as myself are allergic to coconut oil, but can use the other two. I got a very bad rash all over my upper body from coconut oil. It was terrible and lasted a few days.
Use steam if you're going to try that method. I recommend the LCO method, because after washing oils are easier to consume for myself - type 4 low porosity natural - and follow up with a thick cream, butter ect... You need to use heat otherwise everything you use will sit on top of your hair and make it super greasy and dry b/c you're extremely low porosity. At the end of the day however, what works for me might not work for you so stick to a few products and then test how it works for you for the next few wash days/months. I have faith that you'll figure this stuff out, also check out Green beauty channel for some more tips. Nappyfutv has great 4c hair tips so check her out too.
I would ask if you are low, high or medium porosity. Porosity will tell you how moisture is absorbing and remaining in your hair. So like high porosity hair lets water easily flows in AND out. And low means it’s hard to get water in but once in it gets kinda locked in. Your technique might be hindering your ability to maintain moisture. I think technique is more important than products
I have 2C - 4C (in patches) very dense and very coarse low porosity hair. Because my skin is beyond extremely sensitive (I can't even use coconut oil due to allergic reaction) I have only been using distilled water and olive oil. I have discovered something new in fermented rice water. It improves the condition of my hair and the effects are cumulative. I am an artist and created these natural hair care planner stickers. Please check it out: www.etsy.com/shop/GwendolynRobinsonArt?ref=seller-platform-mcnav Thanks so much, Gwen
Do you have an affiliated link for the larger bottles of the Aloe Vera juice?? I tried a small bottle after watching another one of your videos and I need to repurchase
Is there another type of clay you would consider using if you didn't have your go-to clays on hand? Asking doe a friend who need to wash her here TODAY. Btw, the coconut vinegar makes a mean salad vinaigrette (think I mentioned that before)

That is SO sweet, thank you!
T's lipstick is always on point
But T says don't buy it in the description box so I plan to take her advice.
Yes she is not the only one to talk about this shade ... it seems bad . But her colors choices are always good :)
I respect ANYONE who does DIY and Ayurvedic methods. That tells me you are INTERESTED in your hair. I’ll be trying some of the Ayurvedic powders soon! Can’t wait!
Thank you!! I always appreciate that you are not a product pusher just b/c a brand is popular or it's the hype of the day. Super useful information. 😊
This video came on time for the colder months. My hair will win the dryness battle from now on. Thanks T 😙
Thanks for the informative videos. So about that yogurt conditioner. . . You were so right! Feels shady going on but surprisingly great after it's out. I put amla, moringa, and some other stuff in it and it works better than 90% of my store bought conditioners. Thank you!

I do still use it, and I suppose I should update, because people have been asking me a lot lately!
For me to go straight to the description box for lip deets and read your "don't buy it, it sucks." Burst out laughing in public. This is why I love you! Lol
Please tell me you're wearing leg warmers!
Daethaqt3000 yaass she's giving us Fame/Flashdance vibes huh?🤣
High kicks, Back bends and dips and spins maybe a lil twerk in there too lol
Haha, missed opportunity!
That lip color is POPPIN....YASSSSS!!!
Lindsey Simmons I concur; it looks great on her, but she wrote in the description box that it sucks.
OKKKKKK, so i'm living for this wig and makeup. Love your content, per usual.
I love your videos. It's like information overload, no filler.
Loooove coconut cream for everything. Inside and out.
Thanks. Will try that coconut cream. I tried coconut milk when I first went natural and loved it. Will revisit. You ARE da plug, gurl!
I didn't think to add a clay to my deep conditioner. Good shout. Thanks for the tips and great video as always.
Yeah, Tropical Traditions' coconut cream and coconut oil are everything! They changed my hair life!
Please do an updated 2020 video of your updated products years later
I always learn something watching your videos.
Yayyyy a new video!
Natural Grocers has coconut butter and coconut vinegar.
Which kind of lipstick are you wearing???? It looks amazing ☺☺☺☺☺
From the description: "On my lips: Milani Amore Matte Lip Créme, "Sugar." (It sucks. Don't buy it.)"
BlkBohemian thanks
Your pre-poo is in my hair right now. Bought some coconut cream online last night. Gonna get these hairs sorted.
Green Beauty protein is amazing. It has helped my hair so much. LOVE it!
Luv, luv, luv this idea of boosting the efficacy of products! I've always done this, from childhood...but it was usually out of necessity. Lol! Even now...gotta stretch that dolla. Thx so much for this vid, girl! 💖👍😃

Ayurveda for the win, that Amla Doreen🙌🏿🙌🏿, thank you for this, ❤️ from the UK
Great video. Very informative. I definitely will try the diluted apple cider vinegar for detangling. Great tips! Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for sharing. It's time for some reuppin on my oil. Amla oil gives me a severe headache.
very informative video. This is so thorough

I was wondering the same thing - does the coconut cream leave particles in your hair?
This was honestly a great video. I learned some things. Thank you for sharing!
Love this video. Really informative. Thank you.

It might be your environment because I think Aloe Vera is a humectant.
You kept it all the way real in the description box 😂 I like you lol
Looking flawless (as usual) =)
I love this video about your products. I wiuld like to try a few of these out. Thank yiu.
Great video as always! I just recently started playing with coconut cream as a deep conditioner and it definitely helps keep my hair from shrinking up while I'm detangling.
What did u put on your hair in this video.
It's so beautiful, healthy and soft.
Lookin forward to your Ayurveda video
New Uk subbie! Just discovered your famous one yr old Propoo/Detangler and LOOKING forward to using shortly!
Please whats your hair porosity?
Thanks! Normal, but I'd say it's higher porosity on my ends/the older parts of my hair.
OMG ... Tnx for this video... very informative and helpful too. However, I so loveeee your lip color🤔😚🤗
Can you please tell/link, where you purchased your wig? I love it on you.
Have u tried mixing all that stuff to make your best conditioner
Love your wig.
I can tell that coconut cream is about to change the game for me.
is coconut water vinegar the same as coconut vinegar?
I'm honestly not sure! I've seen companies label it both ways, but I haven't figured out if they're actually made the same way.
Great video as always

You are an encyclopedia of hidden DIY gems on the internet, haha. I'll have to check these out!
I was thinking "how did she get her hair like that?"
Nice choice of wig, I thought it was all yours (as in from the hair follicle's)
Just came across your channel today..Je t'aime!
How many ounces of conditioner would you guesstimate you're adding stuff to?
Loved the informations, thank you!

HEADS UP: There's a "Buy 1 Get 1" at Tropical Traditions for the Coconut Cream Concentrate that started today!
They do sales a lot! It's great, because it lets me stay "stock up," haha.
ikr...free shipping is on today (I don't know how long it's been on, but I bought the 4/$20 ccc (I bought one big jar 2-3 years ago and just towards the end)
I want to add that I really enjoy your realness! It is refreshing!
What shampoos do you use? or do you only use the clay?
I can’t seem to find your bentonite clay mask video. Could you plz link it
As always, you look GREAT. Question: Ever use the coconut cream concentrate as a leave-in? Can you?
I don't, but I suppose you could if you wanted to!
nappyheadedjojoba thanks babe! I think I'll try, to keep moisturized.

I love the brakes off T. Traditionals coconut cream. It's delicious! I'm too greedy to put it in my hair.
You know, I've never actually eaten any! I should probably keep it that way, because I do love coconut, and that might turn into a problem!
Gosh...you are so beautiful 😍!
Hi sis can u make a video where we can get cheap hair products 😬... Im broke help a sista out! 🙏❤️
Is there another type of clay you would consider using if you didn't have your go-to clays on hand? Asking doe a friend who need to wash her here TODAY. Btw, the coconut vinegar makes a mean salad vinaigrette (think I mentioned that before)
I'd have to research that. I've only used the ones I've talked about on my channel!
🎈💖🌈👍✨🙌
there is something about you that seems so intelligent to me
