I was hoping you would do an Everyday Shave video with the 38C. Out of the 5 safety razors I own, this one is my personal favorite. The Merkur 38C paired with a Feather blade is the perfect combination for me.
Nice demonstration with the 38C merkur Safety Razor. Always enjoy my coffee and morning shave better. After seeing I’m not the only guy that smells my shave soap before lather! 👍
Great shave as always Geo 🪒🪒 The 38C razor is a nice choice being heavier and longer for shavers with a lighter touch, efficient and comfortable. I gifted this razor to my son and he loves it. Stirling has amazing products, performance and scent second to none and price makes it a must have. Nice video, thanks.
I have had the 38C for 15 years, now I have a 39C to compliment it. So depending on the condition of my skin, I have both to choose from. I prefer the longer handle and the heavy weight.
This one 34c use to be my everyday shaver, it ran flawlessly barely any agitation. Then one day I was going to fast and nicked my lip a little. Now I use my Henson razor everyday no cuts but it seems to sting a little everywhere after I’m done. Very effective razor. The sting isn’t that bad
I've been using Mercur 38C for a good few month now.I haven't used any other safety razors out there therefore no comments. But i found a couple of good blades for me.Personna definitely no.1, Shark stainless steel, but after last two shaves i have a first place splitter which is Tiger Czech made blades. These gave me most comfortable shave so far. Will see in a long run! Cool videos as always.Keep it goin Geo👍Thanks
Just ordered one of these Merkur 38C Razors from you yesterday. Looking forward to getting it and putting it to use. Best wishes, and thanks for the review.
Hello Geo, always excellent and quick video. Ten years ago, after to saw some of the first videos of the young Geo Fatboy, 38C was my first DE razor, and it’s always my favorite for have a nice shave and a nice day. All the best from France.
Love your videos! The only thing i would LOVE to see added. Is in the thumbnail, also picture the brush and cream youre using. 😋 was searching for more sterling soap videos!
I just started out shaving with a DE razor, I bought a Merkur 42c, a 3 piece razor. Quite like it. Also a short handle, but a razor isn't an axe; I hold it with my fingertips, and don't feel the need for a longer handle.
Ottima tecnica e splendido montaggio in ciotola, anche se io preferisco il montaggio direttamente in viso. Mi hai convinto a comprare il Bay rum. A presto 😊
Hello Geo! I have a question for you about cleaning this razor. For it has a pin inserted inside the hollow handle that gets wet after the shave, do i have to remove the threaded pin after every shave or can i dry the razor without disassembling it? The pin is held by a brass ring that could get damaged if i always remove it from the handle. Can you give me some advice about it? Thanks in advance, Dario.
Hi Geo, another great video. I love watching all your videos. In your next upcoming video, is it possible to perform a shave with your Gillette E4 FatBoy razer. I saw that you did one shaving video using that razer years ago, so i was just wondering if you could do a new video. I have a Gillette E4 FatBoy myself and its by far my favourite razer of all time. Take care Geo.
Nice shave Geo. Merkur make razors for the entire spectrum of shavers. I stay with the middle of the road aggression razors which I find best for me. Thanks for the demo. Be safe this holiday weekend.
After test driving the Weishi TTO, my first real DE razor was the Merkur 34C. I later bought a Weishi long handle to try out then purchased the 34C "long handle" (23C or 38C?). I swap handles and heads with the RazorRock 6C, because I like adjustable razors. Now I have the Future clone, and a Vikings Blade Crusader Ragnarok edition.
Hey Geo, I am a huge fan of Feather blades and I am sick of hearing everyone complain about how they are not smooth. To me a blade plucking and tugging on my beard is not smooth. Please do a video to educate people about how the Feathers are smooth cause they slice right through your beard. Take care brother!
Geo ... Thanks, but I see that there is nothing new, the same razors , blades and the same tactic! So the same result, just uploading daily videos... Greetings
Geo I think you should start on tiktok. It will increase your customer base. Also people will be able to tag you and you could comment on what's gone wrong
It's a pity that I can't order products from your shop, the delivery to Bosnia and Herzegovina is too expensive , and you have a lot of things that I can't buy here... all the best and best wishes from a big fan.. 🖐🖐🪒

15C is better👍
I've never tried the 15C, so I couldn't say. I'll have to look it up.
@@trippy5026 Open Comb. Best one👍

38c is a great razor. It is more aggressive and progressive than the DE89. But still not a biter.

Such confidence. Such prowess
Thanks!
38C is an excellent razor, good video Geo.👍

I’m going to have to checkout the Stirling Bay Rum Shave Soap… love a good Bay Rum… favorite scent.
Could you do an updated full daily shave. Like the pre shave, the actually shave (3 passes), and the after shave.
Thank you Geo.

Do you still use the 38 regularly?
@@rolandomontenegro4130 Yesterday I used my R41, but yes, my 38C is the razor that I use the most frequently, I shave my beard two times a week.

Geo im gonna buy my first Merkur. One is a 2 piece other a 3 pc. Which 1 is better? 47c or 38c
That was a satisfying shave Geo!
I heard that the shaving efficiency and aggressiveness of this razor is between Muhle R89 and Muhle R41. This is true?
It's equal to or slightly above the R89. Further from the R41...

Nice shaving video as usual 🙏🙏🙏👍👍
Perfect!!!
I am sorry to say this but recently I try Mercur blades and it"s one of the worst blades I ever used.
Totally agree, the ones that came with a 34C i bought some years ago were like chocolate and i never used them again.
T
The quality must've gone down. My Merkur blades were great! As are the complimentary QShave blades.
raport - soapt to water ?
