At the Edmonton airport a couple weeks ago picking up a person who was finished his two weak shift north of Fort Mack. I saw this Buffalo jet landing.. Watched as to where it would park. It came close to where my friends terminal is. On the north east side of the Airport. All the people in the terminal waiting for people coming off shift in our terminal. Let out a cheer watchin the Buffalo jet land.. Needles to say there are still a lot of Buffalo fans around..
Love it! Never gets old! Glad to see the ole 737 keeps flying! Reminds me of the old Canadian 737s with the low flung cigar engines we had back in Pearson (showing my age). Not as nice as these - they were more loud, rattly and lots of smoke! Cool in their own way. :)
@@rearspeaker6364 me too, I did not realize it would take so long. I think they had to do some re-work on Aircraft to meet Canadian Rules & Regulations and I believe it is not ESKA any more, but I did not take a note of the new Registration.
Nice to see Buffalo enter the Jet Age Finally! She's a Cool Freighter abd a 737 an all, but its not like its a 737-200 Combi equipped with a Gravel Kit, specifically designed to land on unpaved Airfields in Canada's North. 🤠
Not a jet for long !!! Upon arrival at Yellowknife headquarters, Chuck not gonna be happy with "suck, squeeze, bang, blow". I see prop mods a comin !!!! 😊
Buffalo serves The North West Territory in Canada. Only for them small hamlets would have no food or anything in our winters. These Pilots are so brave all flying WW2 aircraft with a few exceptions. A lot of young Pilots in Canada get their hours up with Buffalo and then are able to go to bigger Airlines in Canada. These folk are a wonderful group.
@@Nomadicv1 Thank you for explaining to that person. If they watched the whole series of videos leading up to the Ferry Flight, surly they would understand it was British Pilots who did the Ferry as also the Aircraft ESKA was still registered in either UK or Europe.
Buffalo was responsible for one entire aircraft evacuation of cats and dogs from Yellowknife to safety. Earlier that week they donated a pallet of dog food, ( I think) to the Humane Society. I do think they also had 2 smaller aircraft up every day. I saw them on Flight Radar and I’m guessing they were helping to fight the fires. The Buffalo family are very supportive in their community.
I was wondering if those are retired A340-600's from Iberia & Virgin Atlantic maybe a cargo airline like Buffalo might be interested in buying or leasing them?
From 1:00 to 1:10, the nose wheel steering lockout pin is removed. Ground service person shows the pin to the Captain to verify that the pin has been removed and that the Captain has full control of nose wheel steering. That pin, with “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT” flags attached, must be installed before the tow bar is connected and not removed before the tow bar has been disconnected. Were the tow bar to be connected without locking out the nose wheel steering, once hydraulics are activated, the nose gear steering can drive the tow bar. If connected to the tug, something is going to break, or worse, someone’s going to get hurt.
Just noticed the wipers, they aren't anything special for where they are mounted really 😅 Would think they were made out of titanium or atleast reinforced aluminum... There is alot of force going over it when cruising...

Greatest things happen when you’re doing the right things and Buffalo has proven itself with this 737 ,! Been watching them on TV for years
I love the Buffalo Airways Livery. A beauty!!
Did anybody notice the Guppy, Conroy CL-44-0 in the background? What an amazing view of these two awesome aircraft!

There sure is and it’s great to see 💯
Glad to see the Buffalo business still growing
Nice to know, that in hundred years time, when everybody uses warp drive, we can still admire jet aircraft courtesy of Buffalo Airways 😉👍👍
737 a good choice for Buffalo. Parts availability for their aging fleet grows.
That’s pretty funny!!!
@@SBrown-ov9lz Not so much engine parts, those old CFM 56's parts are getting harder and harder to come by

Good to see you guys back I hope you will be back on TV
Don't you just love it when that blue sky appears, great video.
Thank you! And blue skies are the best!
Awesome showing views from both cockpit and the ground.
It is great seeing Buffalo join the jet age. But I'm sure there will be occasions when radials end up saving the day.
That was a rather a view from the glare shield than the cockpit !!! But still a nice sight of the Buffalo Airways new acquisition ;-)
Yey buffalo airlines with a jet ❤🎉❤🎉❤
🤙🏻
Alright Buffalo, What a beauty Eh!
Nice video, best wishes with new aircraft. Belfast, Ireland.

Absolutely brilliant to watch go go buffalo Airways 😊😊😊
This was well done! Thanks for sharing!
Nice to see 737 with eyebrow 4&5 windows. Worked at a MRO wear we removed them and Installed window plugs. Thanks for the video.
No probs!
Great video and take off. Thank you. I know just last week it was Certified for Canadian flying. ☺️
was wondering why they were not using it......

Next few years, 737 Max 8F 😊
so proud buffalo into the modern age....

I do love a 737 3 xx
Buffalo moving from 40s aircraft to 60s aircraft. Slowly getting there.
That was brilliant thank you
When the next 737 arriving ?
Soon hopefully
I've never heard of buffalo airways. Nice one.

@ruthbickerstaffe1915 If this is true then what's up with the British accents?
This is footage from the British Ferry pilots that flew it over to Canada for Buffalo. Hence the British accents! Hope that helps.

Absolutely 👍🏻
As fan of Ice Pilots & Buffalo, great video. But boy, up close, it looked like that fuselage had more patches than a patchwork quilt?
Yeh does look like it’s had a few bumls haha!
Very cool
Can they go to commercia cruising attiltude
5:22 - is that a Conroy Skymonster you are passing by?
Beautiful plane but why no winglets?
Que Clássico Mais bonito 😊😊😊😊
Beautiful :)
Came in for the Buffalo, got sidetracked by the A340s. :)
I have a few 340 vids on the channel be sure to check them out ✈️
The ATC sounds like she is 12 years old. Buffalo with the 737 can go warp speed now !😅
Was ear piercing at times lol poor pilots
Cool.
they made some progress since the dakota
Buffalo enters the jet age, albeit 69 years later!
Is it Syracuse NY that is where I live
WTF no news from Mikey on the evacuation of Yellowknife or the fire situation ????
He's popped a few updates on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Probably a bit too busy to make videos, sad times.
I was wondering if those are retired A340-600's from Iberia & Virgin Atlantic maybe a cargo airline like Buffalo might be interested in buying or leasing them?
There all owned by European Cargo in Bournemouth, Uk.
They have a few converted to cargo aircraft that fly to China most days.
Everything looks correct here.... Size, Color Combo, Jet Sound.🤔...... yep should fit right in at the Buffalo Hanger.👍👍👍
omg did any one else se the bird at 9:01 mark?. I had to slow the video down to even se the bird

Let’s go Buffalo…
Thought a C130 would be better for Buffalo
View from cockpit.
How long before the DC3 pilots be without a job???
Is this jet ..cargo only ? I didn’t see any seat windows
Yes cargo
Who's the pilots of that jet 🤔
What`s the story on all those A340`s sitting across the field? Are they active freighters or going to be parted out?
They have a few that do runs to China daily! The others I believe are awaiting to be turned into freighters to do the same.
will Chuck be installing a turboprop from the Electra on this one or a radial from the commando ? LOL
No, he's still looking for his other missing YELLOW hammer!
Just noticed the wipers, they aren't anything special for where they are mounted really 😅 Would think they were made out of titanium or atleast reinforced aluminum... There is alot of force going over it when cruising...
What, exactly, do you think they’re made out of? Plastic?
Why registration 2-ESKA and not C-ESKA?
The first reg is for international transit. Once at home base and signed off Canadian wise, her Canadian reg can be used. CFBAE
Coming soon to ice pilots… the nomadic crew
Haha if only ✈️
Too silent, only voices from inside filming, missing the best part, cockpit and engines sounds
Probally just a smart phone with adapters plugged into the comm radios.
WE CANT SEE THE FLIGHTDECK
Will be in next buffalo video
WoW ... talk about loosing spatial awareness with that cloud cover ...
The aircraft would look better with winglets
Not much of a view, they could of placed the cockpit cam behind the bus drivers...
I'm surprised they make enough money to afford operate one of these.
I guess they couldn't find a 707.
shame no cockpit sounds
Its a pitty you took all the engine sound out....its half the excitement all that noise...ģo Buffalo
That watermark is annoying
Unfortunately I have to put it there as others take the footage and take the credit for it!
@@Nomadicv1 i understand. Thank you for clarifying. Best Regards.
WOW...Are we so short on ATC's now that were hiring children?
You never heard a woman speaking before? 😂
Most annoying controller voice ever! And I was an air traffic controller for 42 years
The ATC sounds like a little girl speaking to her dad.
