@@aylin7173 so basically resin is mixed with chemical which has very toxic poisonous fume and touching it will cause you skin rashes, we use a extra protective respirator mask , nutrile gloves and a well ventilated place. Peoples respitory system have been destroyed and people have gotten skin infections and even skin cancer from this chemical because of being careless , your poisoned and dead if you accidentally eat this.
Oof, not wearing gloves is SUCH a bad idea, especially if you like getting gel manicures (which it looks like you do). Touching resin with skin can increase your chances of developing an allergy to resin/gel

@@anonomous8649I don’t know anything about violin resin/rosin but I used to work a lot with resin for crafting, so I could be wrong lol but from searching online it looks like the resin used for violins is from tree sap, so you’re fine. The resin that is concerning to use unprotected is a chemical that requires a chemical reaction (or UV light depending on the kind) to cure. When it’s uncured (often in liquid form), it’s hazardous to touch and as it cures, it releases gases that are also hazardous. Some places you might come in contact with this resin in uncured form is the crafting resin, some dental procedures, and gel polish. All that to say that you’re ok lol
I agree gloves are the best idea, but it looks like she didn’t touch any wet or drying resin with her fingers. She only held it after it had cured & held up the wet side under the UV light
Definitely stay safe while being creative. I loved this craft. Double gloved hands/ well ventilated areas /facial respirators are best when handling resin :)

this turned out absolutely lovely! but please please please wear gloves and a proper filtration mask while using resin, as well as making sure to be in a well ventilated room. the fumes are Not Good for you and if you use it again you should make sure to keep yourself safe

I have owned more orchids than I am willing to say. To grow those flowers back is an act of magnificence. I’m not kidding 😂 I only had one actually grow flowers after it shedded its first batch!
Tip for orchid care: make a water bath once a week...ad beer every second week (if u are a minor ask your parents to help u with this) Idk how or why but my plants loveeee beer baths i got this tip from a neighbour a few years ago!

You should cover the exposed bits of flower when you drilled the hole. It will mold/decompose because of that.
