Hi. I would to ask something. I'm writing from Italy. I really like the moonlight roller mirrorball. Having the foot 296 mm, a 46/46.5 in Eu size, which size should i take?
@@Brit943 I bet you guys both got the same style and size and got each other’s skates lol! Hope they got that fixed though I know that had to be so frustrating!!!
When you said you have all the skates you need and you want to leave more for other people to buy, THANK YOU! It seems like you’re the only skater who’s self-aware enough to leave skates for everyone else and not just buy a new pair every week for the video. The price of skates is skyrocketing because people keep buying them and they’re so hard to find now (except impalas which I won’t be getting lol) who knows when I’ll be able to get my hands on a pair of beach bunnies 😖
This!! Or at least if influencers/ ppl try different models and it's not their perfect skate and they no longer wear them, I'd hope they sell them to others please !! People would def buy them if they're available ! Spread the skate love 💟😭😫
My impalas come in in about a month. I was fully prepared to buy them myself but my grandmother bought them for me. I’m so excited and so happy to actually have an outlet instead of sitting in bed playing on my switch all day (I love my switch don’t get me wrong, just getting super depressed not being able to do anything except sit in bed)

I loved my impalas, but I specifically consider them a beginner skate for if you can’t commit to higher prices. Super accurate. My impalas have held up a bit better, lasted me since October and are still definitely skate-able. I’ve learned a lot in them, including park skating. I plan to get some moonlight rollers soon. Idk if anyone is still watching this video, but I got my skates a year ago and impalas, i noticed, have always been controversial. As someone who doesnt want to invest in skates, I would suggest candies over impalas. Candies have the faux/ suede boot, making it similar to other suede boots. I have c7 skates (similar to impala, very stiff) and I absolutely adore my MLR skates, my feet don’t cramp at all in those. I agree that the stock wheels are meh. I skate in the rink so I changed my wheels to sure grip velvets

I just recently bought my first roller skates which are Impalas. I was really excited for them and I'm still happy with them. I still feel comfy with them and like their look and all but just having those things in mind makes me wonder, if I should have invested a little bit more into better quality :
@SpaceBunnie, don't worry. I understand how you feel. Just know, if they fall apart, I've seen people write to Impala and get replacements or refunds, if it happened within 3 months. (Their warranty time; provided you follow their warranty custodian guidelines.) That being said, I also read that Impala took the issues to heart and have come up with adjustments for the skates, that were enacted late last year...(winter 2020). In addition, I've read about many folks who've had their skates for over a year, have used them daily, and haven't had any issues. I see many pro skaters use this skate for fun, and mention how stylish they are. I have a pair, myself. In the skating community, the goal is to feel great, have that wind in your hair, and support each other. You rock in whatever skates you choose. I'm right behind you on that. 💖
You should just get another pair of impalas but new ones 😆✨💛 they definitely are cute, affordable and if they’re not fancy moxis who cares?! I think their skates are overrated and waaay too expensive 🥴
Yes!!!! Because you need a while to work on your balance. I used to skate as a kid and was pretty good and took lessons. Then I stopped skating until a few years ago and bought some suede no name skates to really learn. Its been really hard because the boot is soft. I’m actually going to order some impalas to build up strength and work on balance for awhile.. because they’re stiff, plus they’re stinking cute!! 💖 nothing wrong with going cheaper while you advance to an intermediate level 😊🌼✨
I was gonna get the impala but I got sure grips instead. The $99 price was great but I'm a big believer in you get what u pay for so I upped my price point to get a longer lasting skate better quality skate.
I am a new beginner skater, like I’m on day 4 of skating. The first pair that I bought were some Chicago skates, ugh. Yesterday my Impala skates arrived, and as a beginner I’m so happy with my purchase. I can already turn, do crossovers, stop completely, and I also did a spin. I will probably upgrade again to a cheaper skate after my Impalas fall apart. Maybe the cheaper Moxies?
From watching basically all your videos haha, I’m thinking about buying skates and starting however in the uk it’s super cold right now (I mean it always is let’s not lie). Also with me not having any skill and being 13 I need skates as cheap as possible. So glad you made this video and I love you so much, thankyou for all your kindness and content. I hope your doing well, much love from the uk💕
Started off with the pink Impalas as well and my new black Moonlights will be here on Wednesday, hey twin😂👋🏽 Thanks for all the info! Glad I purchased some new outdoor wheels for the moonlights🕺🏽 Hope you have a speedy recovery with the eye issues!
Do you find that the softer ankle on the moonlight skates make is easier to do some jam skating moves? I have a pair of impalas and I do like them for cruising but it's really hard for me to do a lot of moves since I can barely move my ankles in them (even though I don't lace them right and have really worked the "leather" to wear it in).
I would say loosening my trucks and wheels have helped me more with the jam skating moves than the softer ankle, but it definitely feels more comfortable to do my jam skating moves in the moon boots!
Baby Girl don't you worry about that eye patch . If you need to wear one you can make it look really cool do it up with rinestones. Your beautiful no matter what!!!
hi! i love your videos but i'm curious to ask as a ex artistic roller skater, will you try a pair of 'em in the future? i'm curious about the perspective of a roller skater who isn't invested in the "artistic world". something like edea rondò boot and roll-line variant M frame they're more heavy than the ones of the most "common ones" cause the frame is thinked for land jumps and such but i'm quite sure you'll truly enjoy 'em ;-)
Awesome video! Do you know if the moonlight skates have more cushion on the inside? I have impalas and the toe area is not cushioned at all and completely metal :( I had to put foot cushions in my skates I’m wondering if you had that issue or if you noticed a difference in the toe box area for both?
Hey in 7:02 you said that there are other skates at the same price of impala's that don't have the issue of the boot separated from the heel. Could you tell me what brand? I wanted to buy the Moxi Rainbow Rider but are sold out :c Do you know other good brands?
I’ve been using my impalas for about a year and they’re on their last leg. I skate at least twice a week and I NEED new ones but absolutely everything from every brand is sold out. I really want the emerald city moon boots
The wait time to get a pair of Moxi's at the time I ordered them were 6+ months whereas the Moonlight Rollers were in stock and shipped within a month :) no preference over brands I just didn't want to wait that long 😂
Hey! so i’ve been thinking about buying some skates lately. My shoe size is 8.5 but the thing is that the skates i want to buy only come in size 8 or 9.Which should i order? (pls excuse any grammar errors, my first language isn’t english TwT)
If your shoe size is US Women's 8.5 for the impala skate I would recommend a size 9. If you are ordering any other skates that go by men's sizing I would recommend a size 8!
Are the moon ones Vegan friendly? My sister and I are just getting into skating and I loved your beginners content, gave us hope we can also get through the initial hump, lol. We're not super coordinated and fairly clumsy. Should be a good time! 👍 thanks for your information and content!
I’m not too familiar with speed skates but I would recommend rollerblades if you’re looking for speed! If anyone else reading this has more info feel free to share below!
Moxi is overrated and too long to get them and who cares about cost. I'm here for the review of these 2, and a beginner review is the best. You've sold me on what I'm gonna biy, as I haven't skated in almost 40 years... what wheels did you buy for your moonlight skates, please?? I think the impala is ripping away from the heel because of the material. Vegan leather isn't a lasting fabric. Does anyone else know if the plates on the moonlight rollers can be changed out???
I’ve noticed a lot of people saying the heel seperates with impalas with the fake leather. I’ve not seen anyone complain about with the holographic ones though? It could be just the leather looking ones
Bought my first skates (a pair of cheap Chicago skates) since my boyfriend didnt want me to invest a lot of money before knowing if I like skating, but my dream skates are a custom dyed pair of moonlight rollers and I'm dreaming of them so much. I hope I can get good enough at skating to convince my boyfriend I'm really interested enough to spend that much money lol
i cannot believe these skates fall apart. wow. given that they fall apart in 6 months it really does make sense to spend money and get skates that will last at least a year.
Man the vegan leather is the reason I'm not getting the Impalas . Am I the only one to absolutely hate that beyond everything? I just can't. It's a shame the moonlight ones are sooooo difficult to buy X(
Most important reason for me to buy Impala Skates is that they're vegan! Please don't forget that leather is skin of an abused animal that was hurt more than we can imagen ... like fur!

Can you list the specs of the wheels you purchased for the moonlight roller wheels?
hi!
i love your videos
but i'm curious to ask
as a ex artistic roller skater, will you try a pair of 'em in the future?
i'm curious about the perspective of a roller skater who isn't invested in the "artistic world".
something like edea rondò boot and roll-line variant M frame
they're more heavy than the ones of the most "common ones" cause the frame is thinked for land jumps and such
but i'm quite sure you'll truly enjoy 'em ;-)
Dance plugs for a beginner? A natural.
Have you cleaned the bearings/ wheels on the impalas? I have the exact same ones! 🙂
How do you put a jam plug in a bolt on toe stop???
What size wheels are on your moonlights? Can you go higher than 58mm in size?
Yes you can go higher than 58mm! The wheels I have are luminous wheel I believe those are 62mm
I'm sorry you're going through issues with your eye, I hope you get some answers soon! I will say thought that the eye patch looks badass!!
Thank you for the well wishes!! 💖
Awesome video! Do you know if the moonlight skates have more cushion on the inside? I have impalas and the toe area is not cushioned at all and completely metal :( I had to put foot cushions in my skates I’m wondering if you had that issue or if you noticed a difference in the toe box area for both?
The moonlight rollers are definitely more cushioned on the inside! The toe area is also wider in the front so it’s a little roomier too
@@cheunglindaa thank you! This review was really helpful!
Feel better ❤️
Hey in 7:02 you said that there are other skates at the same price of impala's that don't have the issue of the boot separated from the heel. Could you tell me what brand? I wanted to buy the Moxi Rainbow Rider but are sold out :c Do you know other good brands?
Besides the Moxi rainbow riders I’d say try checking out Chaya or C7 skates!
@@cheunglindaa thank you so much! (unluckly they're sold out too ahhahaah)
I've heard Rio rollers and Candi Girl Carlin are comparable and in the same range
@@Smallbootyhoe3869 thank you so much T.T
I’ve been using my impalas for about a year and they’re on their last leg. I skate at least twice a week and I NEED new ones but absolutely everything from every brand is sold out. I really want the emerald city moon boots
they are in stock now!
What kind of toe stop is that like the tiny ball?
It's a jam plug!
Would you mind me asking why you went for Moonlight skates as opposed to Moxi?
The wait time to get a pair of Moxi's at the time I ordered them were 6+ months whereas the Moonlight Rollers were in stock and shipped within a month :) no preference over brands I just didn't want to wait that long 😂
what wheels did you add to your moonlight rollers?
They’re called luminous wheels they light up
Hey! so i’ve been thinking about buying some skates lately.
👍 thanks for your information and content!
i want to get a pair but I actually prefer speed skates. Do you have a cite that you could recommend?
I’m not too familiar with speed skates but I would recommend rollerblades if you’re looking for speed! If anyone else reading this has more info feel free to share below!
Never been so early! Anyways , thanks for the video Linda
Thank you for being early!! 🥰
What are the wheels you put on your moonlight pair I can’t find them 🥺😫
Luminous Wheels from Bruised Boutique!
Bought my first skates (a pair of cheap Chicago skates) since my boyfriend didnt want me to invest a lot of money before knowing if I like skating, but my dream skates are a custom dyed pair of moonlight rollers and I'm dreaming of them so much. I hope I can get good enough at skating to convince my boyfriend I'm really interested enough to spend that much money lol
girl if you want those skates, get yo skates!!
My bf said the same thing . I bought some impalas. But girlll, get those skates! I’m going to get some moxi’s.
@@jojobrown2504 I'll get them someday, I know I will!
was planning on getting the impala inlines but they don't ship to my country...
Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that :( I hope you’re able to find another pair of skates in your country 💗
How did u put ur toe caps on for ur impala roller skates
Take off your toe stop and laces, put the toe cap on, and then re-lace your boots and put the toe stop back on 😊
Which jam plugs did you put into your impala skates
I used the Sure Grip fomac dance plugs in size 5/16" 💞
@@cheunglindaa thank you so much!
I want roller skates!
i cannot believe these skates fall apart. wow. given that they fall apart in 6 months it really does make sense to spend money and get skates that will last at least a year.
Yeah impalas are okay for people that want to skate once a week they’ll start to die out after 3-6 months they don’t last long.
The set up makes it seem like she about to eat the shoes (ASMR mukbangs) lol
(pls dont hate, i just thought its funny it reminded me of mukbangs)
😂😂😂 i see it
so proud of you. maybe one day you will get some Moxi Lollis
Sorry I don't speak English and I didn't understand the video haha but, are impala skates bad?
They are good for beginner skaters!
@@cheunglindaa thank you 👍🏻
Hiii
Hi!!! 😊
@@cheunglindaa omgggggg like WHATTTTTTTT🙉🙉🙉🙉
Man the vegan leather is the reason I'm not getting the Impalas
. Am I the only one to absolutely hate that beyond everything? I just can't. It's a shame the moonlight ones are sooooo difficult to buy X(
'lower priced skates where the boot doesnt separate from the heel' where :0
Poor Bretman lol
Most important reason for me to buy Impala Skates is that they're vegan! Please don't forget that leather is skin of an abused animal that was hurt more than we can imagen ... like fur!
totally with you on that, Moonlight have vegan pairs too
What are the stock wheels you replaced the Moonlights with?
Luminous wheels :)
