Thanks so much Brad for taking the time to make this great video. I really like the idea of using the self threading screws. I've decided to use a dash skin on my 2001 Ram 1500 and buy a new instrument bezel from LMC.

Great idea re-using the existing dash screw holes along the windshield and gorilla tape. I would have still used some adhesive to help eliminate future sqeaks and cracks. I will need to do the same for my 2002 2500 soon. Amazingly, I only have 2 cracks in mine at this time. Thanks for your video tips!

my truck is a 1998, yours is a 2001; why didn't they improve this plastic so this wouldn't happen over the years? thanks for the video; looks good

Good idea using screws. How is it holding up using screws?

How bad does it rattle without the glue??

It does not rattle at all. Dash is still secure, and I'm still using the truck for my dump runner etc.

I was going to say the main problem I have is the lack there of any type of dash right now im using bubble wrap and Styrofoam and a cloth cover as my dash been trying to figure out witch way I was going to go about doing the whole dash or just a cover I gotta swap my heater core. Might do some redneckery and make up some kinda dash skin support to help replace structer support
