Testing Lavender, and Sandalwood essential oils in cold process soap

What one was your favourite and what was the buyers favourite?

My favourite was the Alpine French Lavender. Our customer loved the straight French Lavender 🥰 the differences were subtle but I think the Alpine Lavender is a bit more mellow 🙂

How did aussie sandalwood hold up? That would be an expensive bar of soap but gorgeous I bet.

They all behaved really well, except for Benzoin, that can accelerate trace. The funny thing was I had to replicate Australian Sandalwood without using Australian Sandalwood 😂 we eventually matched it with an EO blend, but it was quite a process. Certainly more cost effective then straight Sandalwood EO 😉
